1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New Scam Strategy on: November 11, 2018, 01:18:52 AM
Hi everyone,
I just want to tell everyone about the new scheme of the scammer to scam. especially those people who really doesn't understand much about centralized and decentralized trading platform.

I have read several people posting about arbitrage coins like for example MTV arbitrage
Please check this link as an example:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5050943

upon checking what they the link that they are using, you can see that they are pointing you to Forkdelta.
when you check the trading on https://forkdelta.app/#!/trade/0xcd53c76b8a350b7f9815d6ddc4617bf37c7288ff-ETH you will see a token named MTV  (Multiversum). The scammer wanted you to think that this token is the same token found on IDEX.
Because there is really a Multiversum on IDEX.

But if you analyze very carefully the MTV on forkdelta doesn't match in IDEX because of 2 factors.

1.) they have a different smart contract. on forkdelta (0xcd53c76b8a350b7f9815d6ddc4617bf37c7288ff) , on IDEX (0x07a7ed332c595b53a317afcee50733af571475e7)
2.) The have Different token extension. Forkdelta (MTV) , IDEX (eMTV)

I hope that this short analysis will help others to avoid this kind of scam.
make your analysis first before trying to buy or invest on a token.

I think I already had seen the same thing in etherdelta once, same name coin with cheaper price but if yu look carefully the contract is different.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: FAILED ICO - FAILED BOUNTIES on: October 30, 2018, 03:53:23 AM
Well this is the nature of our work as bounty hunters. You cant really be sure that you will get profit from doing bounties, but at least you dont have to lose money. And another thing, if you just go on participating, there are chances you you can land on some promising ICO and earn lot. So dont stop.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which do you prefer, bank or crypto? on: October 26, 2018, 03:54:07 PM
It depends on what transaction it is, if I just wanted a safe and secured savings, I would definitely put my money in the bank. But if I wanted to earn from my money, I would prefer it to be in crypto, because investment in crypto if successful can give so much more than what banks can offer.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The path may be rough on: October 24, 2018, 01:04:48 PM
The journey to making it big in the crypto space most times might not be smooth. Even virtually every success in life is not always on a bed of roses. There are challenges we need to overcome. There are times we gain and sometimes we loose. See these as just what you need to pass through and do not be perturbed.
Every experience has its lessons and blessings.
-Even if you have been scammed, get your lessons from it.
-If you lost your money in the cause of trading, try to know what made you to lose.
-If you made a wrong choice of ICO, know what lead to it.
-If your predictions never worked out well, consider the factors.
These and some other things are what make the crypto experience interesting.

Though, the path may be rough, you will surely get there.

Well some of these tips have been my basis for enduring in crypto. If I have been too impatient, the dip in the market that started last February could be my end here. But until now Im still here.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Cryptocurrency prices dropped again on: October 21, 2018, 11:15:47 AM
We cant really have the answer why the market is still red, but the year end is coming and there might be some huge activities in crypto like what happened last year. The best thing is to invest, and then forget your coins until the prices are up again, how long it my take.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto like a fulltime job on: October 17, 2018, 03:06:37 PM
I don’t mind that a lot of people are everyday here. Our trying to be rich is clear and the majority of us are ready to make crypto our fulltime job. Of course, it could not be so easy at the beginning but I am sure that the amount of participant on the cryptomarket will be grown so much in the future it just needs in becoming more popular and so many organizations will lose their employees because of crypto. I think that it is the one more reason of crypto’s being banned. Are you ready to give up your job to be here or not?

If only the prices of cryptocurrency should be stable enough, I would really be happy to give up my job and sit full-time in front of my computer doing bounties. The only reason Im an not is the volatility of the prices, if the coins are so down I might be hungry if I do this.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it risky to buy not top 100 crypto currencies? on: October 11, 2018, 12:24:34 PM
Hey what do you think, is it risky to buy crypto currencies that are not top 100? I mean do you have a higher chance to lose your money or not?

I think its not that risky at all. Except if you are referring to the the coins that are already dead and left at the bottom of the list. Still there are coins in the bottom of the rank like new coins that are promising, it only depends on the project itself.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The price plunged down today? on: October 11, 2018, 12:21:57 PM
What do you find with cryptocurrency at this time or in particular today. Please provide comments and feedback to respond. Do not panic !! Stay calm and relaxed.

Actually those who are holding their coins until now cannot be shaken with these drops in the price in the market because most of the weak hands have already sold their tokens/coins. Holders have patient, so yes, they stay calm.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Or Trading? on: October 11, 2018, 12:19:04 PM
I can say that doing bounties is the most beneficial of the two since you dont have to spend money and if ever there are problems with the bounty, you wont lose any money at all.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do we really need a lot of Cryptocurrencies? on: October 10, 2018, 08:59:04 AM
In my own opinion, I dont really think that we need so many cryptocurrencies especially if they have almost the same purpose. I see many coins with almost identical purpose, but still they are functioning, so there must be some reason for this. Many alternative coins may also help lessen traffic for because the transactions can be spread rather than focused on one coin.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: will humanity stop using cash on: October 10, 2018, 08:44:10 AM
I think there is a possibility that it might happen in the future, but Im not sure if it is near since there are still a lot of countries that are not that high in technology. Since if you have to rely on crypto and cards for payment, it will also mean that everything has connection to internet and have some gadget to work with the transaction.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does panicking made you feel ease? Or depressed? on: October 10, 2018, 08:41:38 AM
Back when I was still so new at cryptocurrency, it really made me depressed when I sell some coins and later the price rise up or buy some coins and then later the price drops down. But eventually, youll get used to it and get less depressed when something the same happens again.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hacking kills the cryptocurrency market on: October 09, 2018, 08:34:03 AM
Hacking is one of the biggest obstacles to the cryptocurrency market.
1- Ever been hacked?
2- Lost your coins in an exchange hacking?
3-Did the exchange pay you back for lost coins?

Please share your story, and give some TIPS on how to avoid being hacked.

I could say I have never been hacked yet, but was scammed by the exchange itself. There was this certain exchange that was starting to be known for its scamming, I deposited some eth but it was not received in my wallet in that exchange. I contacted support but they never replied.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: KYC to airdrops is it good? on: October 09, 2018, 08:27:11 AM
You know KYC in airdrops for me is ridiculous. I understand that some projects are seeking ways to filter out scammers/multiple participants in their airdrops, but who knows the airdrops itself if a scam. Thus, they can collect lots of important information and may not reward the airdrop.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are old coins no more profitable on: October 09, 2018, 08:22:13 AM
There is a lot change going on in the coin market cap top 200 this days and I don't know if I'm the only one who's aware of it. Could you believe new (4months-7month ago) listed token/coin claimed much slot in the CMC top #200 list. Are those old project which belong to the spot claimed no more profitable?

Your opinion Smiley

Yes if could be true that old coins are less profitable than new coins since they already have accumulated their multiplier value, but still new coins pose a very big risk to investors because you can never know when the coins will last. So its up to you, big risk with big profits, or hold old coins.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: More and more Bounties turn out to be SCAM. on: October 08, 2018, 01:40:24 AM
a scam in the sense that it doesn't have valuable value or do you think that the price isn't right? At this time there may be quite a lot of ICO who have less good results and generate worthless tokens if like this you have to be smarter in choosing a project to follow

Yeah I agree with you about being a scam also because there is no real profitable value in the end. There are so many ICOs that although they pay the investors and bounty participants, the coins they are paying is almost at no value.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investment or free? on: October 06, 2018, 03:47:36 PM
I see the crypto market growing more and more with the appearance of more and more coin and projects. Every day there are dozens to hundreds of new projects being established. Most of them aim to call for investment to develop the project but besides that many projects do not call for capital but only distribute their token free through Airdrop programs and bounty. This leads to competition and attracts different users. Do you think free or investment projects will last longer?

I dont think it matters if it is free or it is investment that will make a project last longer, the actual utilization could really be a big contribution for a coin to endure and succeed. But still, if you want to develop a good project, you might wanna do it with enough funds.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I just dump my coins for other coins on: October 05, 2018, 01:33:22 PM
You know this just a common thing, especially if you are holding the coins which are already on their prime price. I too have dumped my btc and eth to buy new coins which are promising that may give me more multiple in prices given the chance.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mining Altcoins ? on: October 03, 2018, 07:23:07 AM
Hey guys,
I am planning to mine altcoins in the next year. What do you think, is it worth the time and capital ?

Well I think it really depends on where you are currently residing. Because electricity and the temperature of where you are living can be major factors in mining. So if you are living in country where the electric bill is expensive, and with the current price of altcoins, you'll be in loss.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Hunter's Problem on: October 03, 2018, 07:19:04 AM
It seems that even being a member rank you have not yet experienced being scammed in your bounty campaigns, so you must have been so lucky. Because, it is really the truth, once in a while bounty hunters can get victims of scams.
