1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best way to store Bitcoin safely ? on: June 16, 2018, 05:01:41 PM
Yup. Cold wallets are the best to secure your BTC especially if you have a large amount of it. But you should still be careful in keeping your private key safe.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My country banned bitcoin. What I can do ? on: June 13, 2018, 07:59:17 PM
For me it is always best to act in accordance with law. You should research first the reason why it is banned and the corresponding penalty or punishment if you ever defy the new law/regulation.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is bitcoin not used in medical billing? on: June 11, 2018, 07:20:00 PM
I am a person working in the health sector. I am looking forward to one day co-bitcoin be used to pay for medical examination and treatment and health care services.
That would be great coz it will increase the demand for bitcoin. But maybe they still see BTC as a variable that may effect their monthly profit. We couldn't convince them that this is more efficient coz there's already online banking and also debit/credit card that could be use for paying. And if you have BTC and you wish to use it to pay your medical expenses, you could encash it and use it as you wish or convert it into cash deposit it on your account, you can do these things online (but still depends on your country).
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Its time to move on, and ignore the BTC !!! on: June 11, 2018, 12:30:27 PM

For me it's clear, from the moment BTC went to the Dow it slide down and be played by the big boys.
More and more we see up's and down's controlled by some big players between 6000 and 7500.
Alt coins are following that vibe, and some step out the line but be pushed in the direction the big players want.
I ask myself who is behind it, are governments behind it that not like the BTC and want it pushed down to get people frustrated.
So frustrated that many of us, get sick and tired of the up line pushed down already few time around 7400.
Ofcourse we are human, and after some push down's, we want to be strong and not give up.
But we also not want to be that person that miss the boot, where the rest break and sell the BTC.
It's almost 12 o clock when this price will go up around 7400 again, and drops down again i see a huge drop coming.
And the faith in going up higher, will be lost more and more. And that is what they want.

So what are you going to do ?   Am I wrong ?      It's massive indoctrination dunn by huge selling dumps.

We have 2 options Guys, let them play with us and let them win.

Or show them that BTC is much stronger then some Jealous scary Government, they need to be stopped.

We can only win this battle if you leave your finger off the Sell button.

Succes gr Bas  sorry for shitty English
I understand where you are coming from. When BTC became a big hit last year a lot of people bought it even if it's price is way too high (ranging from 10,000-19,000 USD). A lot of people think that BTC's value will continue to soar. They didn't expect the worst so they didn't see this price drops coming. Some of them does not have enough faith on bitcoin. They were just convinced to invest just because of its price and promising future.
I just can't imagine how much loss they have incurred. But for people who have invested 6 months prior to this moment. This price drops didn't bother them at all. And it's time to hold for the mean time for the traders.
5  Economy / Speculation / Re: BIG HOPE FOR BITCOIN on: June 11, 2018, 12:20:58 PM
Bitcoin is a crypto currency, all currencies make upward and downward trends from time to time. Bitcoin is and other Crypto currencies are taking over the world economy. See every dip as an opportunity to buy more.
Invest now and smile at moon
Bitcoin will never be hopeless. But we shouldn't splurge ALL our money on bitcoin (just my opinion). BTC is still 6k+ USD. Compared to it's 4k USD from september and it almost reached 20k USD on December. Who could have imagine that in the last quarter of 2017 will be like that .
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you talking to merchants about Bitcoin? on: June 10, 2018, 03:43:10 PM
I sometimes talk to someone when taking a bus about butcoin. He noticed that I was browsing this forum and we also exchange some views about bitcoin and how helpful this forum is. It was really nice to tlak to some strangers that you have something in common.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is the Spirit folks, this is how you will get bitcoin killed on: June 09, 2018, 10:01:44 PM
Not everyone who has not bitcoin are uncool losers. Losers are those people who is trying to be on trend doing this and that just to be in and to look cool. There are people who are not smart but are wise enough to know that they shouldn't invlove themselves to the things that they don't fully understand.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 9 Misstatements you'll hear about Bitcoin on the media on: June 09, 2018, 09:52:59 PM
I hope more people could read this or at least do their own research before jumping into conclusions. There are also poeple who are badmouthing bitcoin without any basis. Saying that it is used for illegal transactions.psh!
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin become an asset on: June 09, 2018, 08:51:28 PM
https://bitcoinmagazine.com/articles/south-korean-supreme-court-rules-bitcoin-asset/

I read about this news that in south korea bitcoin is legally become recognizeable as asset. I do think bitcoin is a currency and not an asset. I dont know whether this is good news or not for cryptocurrency. One thing i believe with legalization from goverment i do think more investors will come to invest in bitcoin, but i think if bitcoin become an asset its not as it suppose to because i believe bitcoin should be a currency which is currency is for transaction and asset is not for transaction.

Considering bitcoin as a currency is like considering it as an asset my friend.
Even your money on hand or petty cashes on your company and business is considered as an asset. Assets are also used for transactions in exchange for another asset or paying a debt/liability.
The only difference is when the government stated that it is a recognizable asset it will be subjected to tax, but still depends on the present taxation in your country.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin Die because of global Regulations? on: June 03, 2018, 08:43:39 PM
Frist China want to ban all the foreign exchanges in their country.
https://www.ccn.com/china-looks-ban-centralized-cryptocurrency-trading-reports/

then France Creates Working Group for Cryptocurrency Regulation
https://cointelegraph.com/news/just-one-person-found-to-have-caused-bitcoins-jump-from-150-to-1000-in-2013

then German Central Bank Director: Crypto Regulations Must Be International
https://cointelegraph.com/news/german-central-bank-director-crypto-regulations-must-be-international

Also India already setup a board for crypto regulation.

What is happening all over the world?Something whats soul purpose is to be decentralized will eventually be centralized?

How much do you think a global regulation on crypto will affect the overall market in this year?

Those won't be the end for bitcoin. Most of the other countries were concern about ICO scams that's why they want to regulate it. And never forget that there are countries that has legalized bitcoin. It is only a proof that cryptocurrency become known, and also they want to protect their people from scams that's why regulation is also needed.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The FALL OF BITCOIN on: June 03, 2018, 07:11:33 PM
Bitcoin is used as payment method before. But as the value increases people saw the potential in bitcoin and the possible benefit of holding and trading. I think there is no problem with that. Just like in forexchange. The money they use is still a currency. They may not use it for payment purposes but it is still a currency.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is etherium good for long term on: June 03, 2018, 06:54:27 PM
Ethereum is the 2nd best cryptocurrency and the best altcoin. You can hold ETH if you want to. I just think that 5-10 yrs is too long. Just make sure to monitor the price from time to time.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why ICOs are great on: June 02, 2018, 09:21:57 PM
After development of bitcoin a lot of cryptocurrencies have been established and all the token is followed by the process of ICO. Through ICO many organizations are raising funds for different currencies also offering public bounty in exchange of their tokens.
I believe its a win win situation for both the participants and entrepreneur. At the start of ICO the token price are set at their lowest so there is a huge possibility of profits in investing on ICO. Moreover participants can get discount during the ICO period.
What do you think about ICO.
ICO is not a win win situation. Before, when you invest in an ICO and the project didn't succeeded they will return the amount of money that you invested. But today, a lot of ICOs were scams. And with regards to bounties, there are times were you will receive your payment but couldn't exchange your coin coz it is just a shitcoin. So we really have to be careful when investing in an ICO. It's a win or lose situation.
14  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance! Attention! Be cautious! on: June 02, 2018, 02:14:50 PM
A lot of people love giveaways whatever it is. But we really need to be careful. Whenever you feel something's off, just stop and do not risk your infos. They should not require a lot of datas in the first place.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook is launching '' FaceCoin ''' on: June 02, 2018, 12:11:47 PM
Will you please specify what facecoin are you referring to? There is a facecoin last year that becomes idle after the ICO, and they are not related to facebook just because there is a "face" on its name.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: True BTC believers on: June 02, 2018, 12:22:23 AM
I like bitcoin because it is a good source of extra money. And I can say that I am also a 'fan' coz of it's technology. It being decentralized and how mining works (though I'm not into mining).
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can never be be mainstream, because bankers and corporations.... on: June 01, 2018, 06:35:20 PM
Some banks have some issues regarding bitcoin while some supports it. We cannot generalized banks. In our country, there is a bank behind an app for bitcoin exchange. They acknowledged and saw the potential in bitcoin.
18  Other / Off-topic / Re: Isn't crazy how much does bitcoin exchange earn? on: June 01, 2018, 06:28:10 PM
I also thought about that. It makes me want to gather all my IT friends and make an exchange with lowest posible gas/transaction fees, haha. Or at least an app, but we are lacking of connections, dedications, and resources. Also most of them were not into crypto so it's burried plan.
19  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How educate yourself about crypto? on: June 01, 2018, 09:04:38 AM
When I was a newbie. I read a lot of articles and news online, but I started from blockgeeks. Then when I discovered this forum. I read everything on the beginner's help guidelines and some interesting and useful topics.
20  Economy / Speculation / Re: The whole market is experiencing slump in last few days. on: May 27, 2018, 10:58:18 PM
2016 didnt drop below $300
2017 didnt drop below $900
2018 didnt drop below $6000

so chill out guys. stop pretending $20k is the expectation of 'norm'... instead flip your mindset the other way around

those that stand at $20k and look down are always going to think the glass is less than half full and not refilling

those that stand at $6k and look up are always going to think the glass is filling up nicely, even if people are taking a gulp out of it
Some people really worry a lot. They forgot how much bitcoin really is from the start. Just having a consecutive weeks or even days of negative price they already stating/concluding that bitcoin will die etcetera.
Chillax guys, bitcoin is now +0.38% don't know if it will at least console you.  Grin
