42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin/ETH replace fiat someday? on: October 01, 2021, 07:13:15 AM
We already have signs of crypto usage in practice in El Salvador, which is a perfect example that everyday payments are doable.
In the last year, a lot of players entered in crypto debit card business which shows, people are willing to spend their crypto in for regular activities. Mostly the payment is still done in fiat, but the base is there. These are all signs, that people are ready to use fiat alternatives, and crypto has the biggest potential to takes that role.

When it comes to Dogecoin i think those celebrities do more harm than good for crypto. We saw what happened 2 months ago with useless dog tokens which almost ended up with crypto winter.
On the other side, clubs starting their own fan tokens is a big plus and a healthy promotion, especially when its associated to global mega stars like Messi. There are a lot of people, who will trusts celebrities more than politicians.

44  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin tipping on Twitter on: September 29, 2021, 07:12:44 AM
You can now get paid in bitcoin to use Twitter

What do you think about this feature ?

That is a great feature for twitter users, I hope it will also lead to better quality post on the platform. I wonder what will be the fee to tip someone with BTC. If they manage to get fees lower than fiat tips, than that would be a game changer for BTC.
45  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Do Young Investors Prefer Cryptocurrencies? on: September 28, 2021, 09:55:22 AM
People don’t want to be regulated when it comes to their investment’s. We clearly saw what happened with centralised app robinhood, when GameStop stocks saga exploded. They were pushed in to a corner and was forced to limit access of their users. Which was a clear market manipulation with leverage of power.
This is the exact situation people wants to avoid, and cryto right now gives you free hand when it comes to investments.

47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Staking Coins a Good Idea? on: September 27, 2021, 08:46:37 AM
I would actually like to see more staking options in hardware wallets. Since holding coins in those wallets is considered to be the safest option, many of us are holding BTC and ETH there. Its sad to see that Ledger and Trezor are not offering to stake most popular coins but only few exceptions. I hope this will change in the future.
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are NFT games also another way to gamble your money? on: September 26, 2021, 10:52:22 AM
Unfortunately, there are so many knockoffs out there who just copy and modify the code a little. That's why its hard to predict, which game will be successful in the future. For now, i dont see any crypto game which would offer you addictive like content, which would keep players in. Until then, i dont see much promise in NTF games.
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Worthy Airdrops on: September 26, 2021, 10:32:53 AM
Airdrops in 2021 are known to be 99 % scams and are only used to boost certain social media account which can later be sold or used for some promotions. It seems like the only airdrops actually worth something are those who give away tokens for participation in some projects of beta lunches.
I remember the end of 2017 when there was a hype over useless airdrop coins which you could actually sell for hundreds of dollars.
50  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lucky BTC Holder Activates Bitcoin Wallet with $17.4 Million After 8.8 Years Fac on: September 25, 2021, 08:21:28 PM
It would actually be better for many people to loose their wallets or private keys for years, we are using our emotions too often which leads to selling stuff too early. Sometimes i wish i would be able to forget about crypto for 5 years and come back then.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the Nft hype-cyvle is over? on: September 25, 2021, 03:16:56 PM
Its not nearly over yet. People will loose interest only after/if we see a huge drop of crypto, right now, greed is still too strong. For god sakes, even Snoop Dog started his NTF sandbox game two days ago https://twitter.com/SnoopDogg/status/1441076327948316686

53  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Whale hoards bitcoin, will the market run out of BTC to buy? on: September 15, 2021, 06:50:31 AM
Bitcoin is limited in quantity. News like so and so billionaire or so and so company bought 100,000 BTCs is now commonplace due to the dip. Will there be a time when there will be no bitcoin to buy. If so then what will happen then?

That would be the best scenario for the holders. Imagine BTC being a sought after hard-to-get currency, price would sky rocket. But that will never happen, you can see how collectables market is blooming and unique items are always being sold. Especially in crypto, people want quick money and will always sell.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pancake Bunny is dying on: September 15, 2021, 06:43:53 AM
Its ATH is $553, you just can see how volatile crypto is when you have been holding a shitcoin. It does happen all the time when the market shifts from bull to bear. The drop is more than 90%, that's a terrible way of impressing investors to buy your token.

The number of exchanges adding the token and its volume is good too, give it time and you can make a profit from it when the team pumps their own coin.

Judging by how much price dropped after the attack, i dont see how people will trust their exchange again. Afterall, its just one of many copies of Pancakeswap and has numerous alternatives for users to visit. I think after Binance regulation problems in the last few weeks, we might see a new blockchain gaining popularity, so anyone who will offer exchange there first, will be this bull run winner.
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it wrong to be a long term holder on: September 14, 2021, 07:05:25 AM
Why do people refuse to take profits when their coins and tokens are surging so high? Should this be called greed or they simply have strong believe that the coins and tokens will worth more in future? Is it wrong to keep holding coins even when they bring 1000x profits cos everyone seem to be talking about 'greed' here and there

Like everything else in crypto, its very hard to predict the right time and the right token to sell. I think we have all been on both sides of that when we either missed our chance to sell on the top and then token crashed, or we sold too early. Either way, this game is not for weak minded.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bag holders of SOL? on: September 14, 2021, 07:01:52 AM
hi,

it happened to me before with CHZ, now it seems history repeats and I ended up with a bag of SOL. Grin
What's best in my scenario, still trade it and accumulate more SOL, sell and look for something else or holding it hoping one day i'll reach again $200?

thanks

Are you seriously consider yourself a bag holder after 4 days of negative value? From then almost every crypto coin went down. If you are worried already about that, its better for you to quit crypto and invest in something less volatile.
57  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is like a losing lottery ticket on: September 14, 2021, 06:48:26 AM
Thats a damn good lottery ticket then. If you bought it any time before April 2021, everyone won a decent amount of money. I don’t see such a good odds in any lottery.
But yes, we are listening the same FUD every few years and yet BTC is only climbing up.
58  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: News! VISA considers accepting crypto payments in Brazil on: September 13, 2021, 02:09:12 PM
VISA and other card payment companies has to accept crypto otherwise some other provider will roll over them in the next 10 years. They are not stupid to deny that crypto wont get worldwide acceptance in the next few years.
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do i follow the moves of a successful trader??? on: September 12, 2021, 09:14:22 AM
There are many platforms which offers you to copy some other traders orders, you can also set up a bot to do that. But its usually not for free and for good reputation traders, you will have to pay quite a high monthly fee.
60  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Starbucks, McDonald’s, and Pizza accept BTC on: September 12, 2021, 09:02:41 AM

The images for payment with bitcoin at McDonald's is also going viral at this time where the Lightning Network channel has been used with probably zero fees. This is good move on the part of El Salvador and most of the business are now able to accept Bitcoin payments and have extra benefits from it but they can also accept legal cash. The food giants are now providing services in exchange of bitcoin payments to the residents and it's a kickstart to whole new level.Seems good with this like going out and listening how much the bill is and they say it is only BTC0.0003 or something like that and imaginary figure.

Can we pay with BTC in those American chains in any other country now that they set up the software which supports that? Would be good if they expand that elsewhere.
Also does anyone know if price menus are also in BTC or it calculates before payment?
