761  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who can destroy Bitcoin ? on: October 19, 2017, 01:31:46 AM
The same people that is mainly affected by Bitcoin could destroy it. I'm talking about the banks and the powerful nation that the bitcoin was designed to counter. As of now, they will start to feel the effect of bitcoin on their economy and on the flow of their money then they will start to conspire against bitcoin. But I think the people will support bitcoin and they will fail miserably if they try to destroy bitcoin. This era is revolutionary because power will be distributed to many instead of being horded by a few.
762  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you vape? on: October 19, 2017, 12:58:31 AM
No. I dont vape. I have tried vaping using my friend's vape but personally I do not recommend it. Vaping is still risky because it is relatively new and the effects of long term vaping is still unknown. The juice used for vaping is made of artificial flavors from chemicals. It is still unknown whether this chemicals have harmful effects on a human lungs.
763  Economy / Speculation / Re: what you think about bitcoin in like 5 years? on: October 18, 2017, 11:33:18 PM
I think bitcoin will be integrated in our daily lives in the next 5 years. I also think that more countries will accept it and will make policies on how to handle it. I think it will be available on most of our market and there would be a card to hold your bitcoin. As of now, not many people know about bitcoin but in the next 5 years I know that it will known to all. Bitcoin will help shaped a lot of our world's standards. There wont be a dominating nation's currency anymore and no super power nation dictating or boycotting other nations.
764  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How did you first hear about bitcoin? on: October 18, 2017, 03:05:05 PM
I first heard bitcoin on the internet. Back then I am researching different ways to earn money using the internet or making money online. I found out about trading bitcoin and mining bitcoin. From that moment I became obsessed with understand bitcoin. at first I thought bitcoin is an app but then my brother explained to me that it is a currency then he introduce this forum to me.
765  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is not supported in some countries? on: October 16, 2017, 11:18:54 PM
It is not surprising that some countries ban the use of bitcoin. It is after all hard to understand at first. When you have old close-minded politicians, the tendency is they will ban the use of this unknown technology. Also, there is still the probability that the policy makers are influenced by bank owners to ban bitcoin. It is within my understand that the banks are the first and foremost institution that are affected by the rise of bitcoin, specially US banks. In one of my other posts, I discussed how Japan and EU collaborated to create bitcoin to counter the destabilization done to them by the US and the US dollar. Naturally, some countries will ban bitcoin.
766  Other / Off-topic / Re: What kind of music do people here on bitcointalk listen to? on: October 16, 2017, 04:52:56 PM
I listen to jazz music. It is very relaxing and I think it is balanced . Not to soft and not to loud. Just a balanced music. I love the sound of the saxophone and the bass combined. for me, it is my jump start music. When I listen to jazz my whole day goes amazing and my senses come alive.
767  Other / Off-topic / Re: ONE WISH IN YOUR LIFE on: October 16, 2017, 04:05:56 PM
If I have one wish in life. It is to repeat my life over and over again with me knowing it. I want to perfect my craft and accumulate all the knowledge in the Universe. If I am to re live my life over and over again, I can know so much stuff. I can be an engineer on one life and be a doctor next time or be a blacksmith. There is so much to do here and one lifetime is not enough. s
768  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is it risky to turn all my money to bitcoins? on: October 16, 2017, 04:03:40 PM
Yes. It is risky. Generally speaking, It is risky to invest all your money to one stream of income. to be safe, it is advisable to diversify your assets. for example, buy stocks with some of your money and but bitcoin with your other money so that if one goes down you can be saved by the other. It is like having multiple lives for a game. Diversifying your assets is like having save points. This practice is often observed in the top business man of our era. They have many business across many disciplines and trades. One may venture on the food industry and construction industry so if construction is down your food business will make you stay in the game.
769  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will banks start a war against bitcoin on: October 16, 2017, 11:36:15 AM
I think next year the banks will include the war against bitcoin to their agenda. But I think they have two options here. It is either they incorporate bitcoin in their system. I think now there is a bank here in the Philippines called Union bank and you can buy Bitcoin and make the payment there. One thing is for sure they dont like Bitcoin because it is too much money that they have no control of.
770  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest now or wait a while? on: October 16, 2017, 08:03:31 AM
I think the earlier you invest the better. Even if the stock you bought will go down after you buy there is a good chance that it will rise up again. You just have to wait the right time to sell it. If it goes down then be patient and dont sell it it is an automatic loss for you if you do. If it goes up you could sell it or wait just a bit more because it might rise up further. The same thing is true for bitcoin and I think bitcoin is not going down anytime in the near future. I think you should invest now. waiting will only delay your progress.
771  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you like best about bitcoin? on: October 16, 2017, 06:48:28 AM
What I like best about bitcoin is decentralization. It is independent of any country in the world. and It will not be manipulated by government to destabilize certain country's currency to gain power over them economically. Maybe we are looking into the future of money and trading. I think bitcoin will continue to pick up its wind. It is growing and growing because no power or authority is controlling it. One other possible outcome is the super power nations will fear it and will actually move against it. They probably destabilize bitcoin itself to maintain their power. I know a country that is more likely to do it.
772  Other / Off-topic / Re: Would YOU choose to live forever? on: October 15, 2017, 04:29:14 PM
Yes. I would like to live forever. I would like to acquire vast knowledge in this universe and learn information and study them. I want to be able to guide humanity on its progress and explore the stars in the Milky way and beyond. I want to meet our ancestors if the ancient alien theory is true. I want to live forever to see the technology beyond this generation. Surely, we think that the technology now is amazing and nothing that existed before. The cellphones, the laptops, the apps the Artificial intelligence now. We are all awed by those but I want to see even better.
773  Other / Off-topic / Re: Does bible really teach us? on: October 15, 2017, 11:05:48 AM
I think the everything will teach you if you study it and learn from it. The bible is a collection of stories (some say real life accounts of the prophets and disciples some say a pigment of imagination) . If the question is does the bible really teach us, I think it depends on the reader. You can read the bible without learning something at the same time you can study a sausage and it can teach you something.
774  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you believe in aliens? on: October 15, 2017, 05:06:04 AM
Yes, I believe in aliens. And I believe they visited Earth a long time ago. Many evidence exist like the ancient pyramids, the earth's energy grid, the hindu manuscripts and the existence of orichalcum and other things "forged by the gods"
775  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why is life so hard/complicated? on: October 14, 2017, 02:09:08 PM
Because you view it as a complicated thing. You will find what you are asking for. But if you set it in your mind that life is simple then it will only be simple. or if you want life to be happy it will be happy.
776  Other / Off-topic / Re: Suggest me a movie on: October 14, 2017, 08:38:46 AM

777  Other / Off-topic / Re: Comic books, do you read them? on: October 12, 2017, 11:04:08 PM
Yes. I read them. I am a fan of comic books. and I think reading them is still better than watching. I am so much fond of comic books that I joined a guild dedicate to preserve comic book practices and the comic books itself.
778  Other / Off-topic / Re: Best life lesson you learned on: October 10, 2017, 01:02:27 PM
Staying Happy. It is very hard at first and it is very tempting to be sad and angry and frustrated. I have learned that if I stay happy good things follow and happy things follow. I have learned to find the good in every situation. A wise person once said. "what you think, what you feel and what manifest is always alike. no exception"
779  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you accept bitcoin as your salary? on: October 05, 2017, 08:18:56 AM
yes. I will accept bitcoin as my salary. I have been an online freelancer on upwork for one year now and this is one of the few things that I am thinking about lately. Instead of paying me dollars I want to be paid in bitcoins. I think buying bitcoin is a good investment just as you are buying gold or silver.
780  Other / Off-topic / Re: What comes to your mind when you think of Japan? on: October 04, 2017, 02:14:04 AM
When I think of Japan, I first think of the neat house and with wooden flooring. Then I think of their dresses, the kimono and the kimono for men. I think of the samurais too and their proud way of living. Their food is the greatest in the world. Their food tastes good and looks good and the amount of preparation is very large. I  think of their schools and how each student clean their classrooms and the whole school.

When I think of Japan, I also think about how they occupied the Philippines. the death march, the hidden treasures, the brutality we suffered and the way we fought a super organize opponent. Of course, pearl harbor will not be missed when you think about Japan.
