681  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin the dollar equivalent? on: March 07, 2018, 05:25:43 PM
I would say yes. if you put it that way, bitcoin is definitely the equivalent of dollar. We all know that dollar is somewhat the universal money in this world and many countries need to convert their money to usd to buy something internationally (like tech or resources). You will see in a lot of exchanges bitcoin is used to buy other coins. I think only a handful of coins are ready to be bought on dollars.
682  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: As a beginner is it too late ? on: February 28, 2018, 02:31:14 PM
No. It is never too late. You have to remember that every market shares its Up time and Down time and profit in trading is determined by your entry and exit point. It may be valued as high today but it can be much higher next year or next ten years. It is not yet too late. It can also crash and have some really low values and you can enter the market from there.
683  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Universities Begin implementing Crypto currencies in their framework on: February 20, 2018, 11:44:04 AM
This is good news. I imagine this department of every country will be wise enough or open minded enough to at least explore the idea of cryptocurrency. Naturally, there is more young people that are enthusiastic about crypto than old people. And we can find a lot of young people at universities. Right now we need a lot of support for this tech to fully bloom but if old people keep on saying negative things about it and hindering it for their own selfish reasons. Well, only time can tell. We might lose this tech or we might develop a new tech from it.
684  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese New Year Influence Bitcoin? on: February 13, 2018, 05:05:32 AM
Thinking of the effects of new year on the price of bitcoin (not just bitcoin but other stocks as well) the price tends to go down then increase again after the new year. for both the regular new year and the Chinese new year. We cant really be sure how bitcoin price will behave considering the overall news and the banning and the regulation impending.
685  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Good news! on: January 31, 2018, 12:38:53 AM
This is good news. I think that governments are banning crypto because of its tendency to be used in money laundering. So their move is to monitor the exchanges per person but it will defeat the whole purpose of having a private transaction using cryptocurrency. But this is definitely good news. better than having a total ban.
686  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should we support altcoins ? on: January 30, 2018, 03:30:17 PM
I think we should support alt  coins also. A lot of coins have very good tech not just bitcoin and they exist for one specific purpose most of the time. I could make examples of hundreds of coins. Im not trying to hype but for the sake of an example. One coin exist for bank to bank transfer. One coin exist to buy medical marijuana. One coin exist to buy piece of land in a virtual reality world. I think we should support those coins too.
687  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin to 3rd world countries on: January 29, 2018, 09:39:56 AM
I think it will be slow for bitcoin to reach the third world countries. And most of these third world countries are not dependent on internet and will simply have no need for a digital coin such as bitcoin. Their daily lives involves only buying food and basic services from simple stores. But I believe it will be eventually reached by digital coins. When stores such as mcdonald's absorbed bitcoin tech.
688  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin replace gold? on: January 28, 2018, 05:50:33 PM
It is really no use to bitcoin replacing gold. They are used in very different ways. First of gold is physical and sometimes used for jewelry and electronic parts. Bitcoin is digital. But if you are referring to bitcoin replacing gold in terms of status I think it is possible. By status, I mean the global consensus that if you hold many bitcoin/gold then you are considered rich.
689  Economy / Exchanges / Re: How do you without id/passport verification convert crypto to fiat? on: January 25, 2018, 02:20:31 PM
This is hard. Every wallet requires identification for you to be cleared for a conversion to fiat. But I thought of one method but it will involve a third party buyer. You will sell your crypto to interested party then they will send you fiat. This is the only way i could think of to convert crypto without identification or as anonymous.
690  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Good news! on: January 25, 2018, 01:11:34 PM
That is nice to read. I certainly hope the market will recover because of this good news. Ive been on this for a while that I observed when there is a negative news about bitcoin it is gravely affected and vice versa. but if bitcoin price drops the alts drops too and if btc price goes up the alts goes down too. So if you have some crypto now other than btc I suggest you get out for a while.
691  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You can buy KFC chicken by Bitcoin on: January 24, 2018, 11:16:17 AM
This is nice. If a store as large as KFC will begin to accept bitcoin then it is a start. Im happy that huge business are starting to accept bitcoin. I hope Mcdonald's and Pizza chains will start to accept digital coins as payments too. This is faster way of making an order online.  KFC is only accepting "bitcoin Chicken" i hope we can purchase more from their menu soon.
692  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is now a good time to store some Bitcoins? on: January 24, 2018, 09:50:49 AM
Yes. Usually after a dip it is the best time to but plus i heard that bitcoin will be having 50 forks within 2018 and after every major forks bitcoin price rises. 2017 is the breakthrough year of bitcoin in terms of popularity I think 2018 will be the acceptance of the general public of bitcoin as currency and acceptance of  the merchants as well.
693  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will cryptos be so volatile forever? on: January 24, 2018, 07:55:15 AM
No. Cryptos will not be volatile forever. Once their use is established and they are actually used in transactions their value will move slow just like stock of companies on stock markets. For example, If purchasing one burger on mcdonalds will cost you 0.0005 bitcoin then the value of bitcoin vs usd will not matter anymore.
694  Economy / Speculation / Re: I am planning to buy 1 BTC. Do I need to wait few more days for a price fall? on: January 24, 2018, 07:16:54 AM
Today I think the price youve been waiting for is gone. The dip is over. You should have bought 1 btc when the price is below 10000 usd but the price is not yet far from 10k so it should be good to buy now. Another thing is look at the price action chart. after a long green candle stick you should not buy. and when you see a long red candle stick and a lot of volume sell then you should buy.
695  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin an asset or a currency? on: January 24, 2018, 05:06:16 AM
Right now it is more of an asset. Many people still view it as an asset that will grow and will bring them more money. But I think after some years bitcoin and some alt coins will be a currency. I certainly hope so.
696  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you surprise by bitcoin price now? on: January 23, 2018, 02:20:58 PM
No. I am not surprised. This is expected actually. after that rally back in 2017 this is expected to happen. Social media has been a huge catalyst for bitcoin and a lot of people including non investors jumped in. And they created a bitcoin bubble at that time. When huge negative news like the korea ban and china exit happen . People naturally sell their bitcoin and so the whales too that is why the price went down.
697  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Ethereum? on: January 23, 2018, 12:24:38 PM
Both is very good tech. Bitcoin of course is more popular than Ethereum and I think that is mainly because of their name. Bitcoin is more catchy so when people are telling their friends about it bitcoin is easier to say. Back on 2016, this is the two popular coins. I think these two coins should not be compared with each other. I think they are meant for different things and they can rise up together.
698  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and anonymity on: January 23, 2018, 11:42:15 AM
Nowadays, privacy is a big deal and so is identity. With millions of humans out there, the only thing that giving you meaning is your identity. That is why the dealings of that identity should be kept private. You heard of the theory that google and facebook are selling our privacy to make us susceptible to commercial right? imagine what the banks are doing with our transaction records.
699  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: south korea not banning crypto but want 24.2 percent tax? on: January 23, 2018, 02:23:52 AM
Seems fair enough. but this move says that the korean government are only concerned about the money that people are making out of bitcoin. They are not thinking about the technology behind bitcoin. This is also good instead of a total ban. I think they should lower it a little more.
700  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much risk in bitcoin investement ? on: January 22, 2018, 05:36:58 AM
Bitcoin price will always be affected by news whether postive or negative. The best time to buy is after some major correction or dip just like last week. and hold them for long. Since it is said that this will be the thing of the future. I also suggest that you make some research on the technology behind bitcoin. If you gain knowledge on how it works and the tech behind it, you yourself can answer your own question and you will have some peace within you even if the price is dipping.
