1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What about privacy coin? on: April 28, 2022, 10:09:55 AM
Have to agree. Regulation is coming to the space big time. They will be especially interested in the privacy coins.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trading Or Invest ? on: February 01, 2021, 09:42:50 PM
When the altcoin price was experiencing a positive change I was confused ... whether to invest or trade directly ..
your advice is advice to me .. thank you

It can be fun trading for example after they have pumped DOGE and XRP. I missed the XRP one completely. Trading is very time consuming but can be very profitable. I personally enjoy more doing research on twitter, whitepapers, the discord groups and maybe the Telegram to get a feel if I am interested in a project and see a chance for its succes. Doing research on crypto projects and joining nice communities can be a lot of fun in my experience.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Kucoin Insane Interest Rates for USDT (Opportunity for USDT lenders) on: January 31, 2021, 02:48:44 PM
Right now it is possible to lend USDT with 180% yearly interest rates. What is going on?
When i look at the lending orderbook it seems like it is possible borrowers can fill lending orders up to 300-400% APY.
It seems like great opportunity.
Note that you can lend with 7, 14 or 28 day options and even though you lend for 7,14 or 28 days borrower can pay anytime and interest gathered hourly. If borrowers pays early he only pays for the time he borrowed for. When someone take a long position system automatically borrows for 28 days. So 28 day orders are most likely to get filled.

the problem is that the borrowers can pay back anytime not sure if there is a tool that it gets lent out manually answer for the high APY people are expecting ALT season so for ETH example they are bullish that it might move towards 5K relatively quickly that is why they are willing to pay APY I guess for you as a lender it is good it is a safe play if it does not turn out to be to labor intensive
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DOGE To The Moon on: January 31, 2021, 02:39:20 PM
Today I saw the price of DOGE very high on the Binance exchange, I immediately sold all the DOGE that I have. After I found out why the DOGE price hike was due to tweets from WSB Chairman and Elon Musk. I wonder. Why do famous people's tweets have such an effect on the price of an asset?

DOGE is a relatively small market. It may have started as a joke but it is the fork of a litecoin fork. There is nothing special to it besides it starting as a joke and growing a big community that as a result of this will keep growing. Was honestly expecting the DOGE price to go all the way back to like 1 Cent but not so sure any more. If more people like the coin and just keep buying it why would it not stay at a higher price.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: xrp pump on: January 31, 2021, 02:34:52 PM
hi

i saw last days that xrp going to be like dogecoin pump

what you think about that?
many groups and website run now for this event like this https://tokendrop.xyz/

what you think is good or bad for crypto market?

If you want to know more about that you could check the reddit and discord of wallstreetbets. Their plays on shares where the hedge funds were over shorting made sense. DOGE is basically a fork luckycoin which forked of litecoin has at least a large community. Why they pump ripple of all coins is a mystery to me. DOGE is interesting in a way as the existing community will definitely add new members.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good news for XRP on: January 31, 2021, 11:31:53 AM
"Here’s the note I sent to Ripple employees today regarding Ripple’s preliminary legal response to the SEC’s complaint."

https://ripple.com/insights/sec-update-preliminary-ripple-response/

It does not change a thing. Ripple is decentralised and a Trojan of a bankers. That the WSB push Ripple of all token makes you wonder, if their groups got already hijacked by the bankers. So many much better investments like Chainlink or Allianceblock.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DOGE To The Moon on: January 30, 2021, 02:01:09 PM
Elon Musk thinks he is funny and he is  Grin

Only good thing about DOGE is its community. Why wsb of all coins decided to target DOGE must have been for similar reasons as the Elon Musk Tweet. I am not sure why they were aiming for something with substance like ETH (maybe too big for that kind of pump) or Maker (vital for the whole crypto ecosystem). See how that plays out but right now it looks like that is over. There is new HODLers for DOGE so maybe it settles at 1.5 to 2 Cents next?
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Avalanche surpass Ethereum? on: January 29, 2021, 06:15:57 PM
Avalanche made massive gains last week and is continuing to take a leading position of projects to improve Ethereum like it is today. Avalanche has proven to be a groundbreaking platform and is constantly announcing new partnerships and projects based on Avalanche.

But is it really possible for Avalanche to surpass Ehereum? Ethereum is big, famous and leading, everyone knows and uses it.

I have made a list of arguments for and against Avalanche surpassing Ethereum:

Reasons why Avalanche will surpass Ethereum:

  • Better tech because Avalanche is using Avalanche consensus: better scaling, better decentralization, 4.5k transactions per second and fast transaction confirmation
  • It is very expensive to use Ethereum for small transactions currently
  • Avalanche is a capped asset (720,000,000 AVAX cap) – Ethereum has infinite supply
  • Ethereum 2.0 will take much more time to develop. Plenty time for Avalanche to prove to be better
  • Avalanche network is saving energy (green)

Reasons why Avalanche will not surpass Ethereum:

  • Ethereum is big, famous and leading, everyone knows and uses it
  • Developers won’t abandon Ethereum
  • Huge funding for Ethereum

What it your opinion? Will Avalanche surpass Ethereum?

I think it is good you have found a project you really like but right now some newcomer overtaking Ethereum I doubt that to be realistic. People start calling Ethereum the next Amazon already. Then there is Polkdot and Dfinity about to start the next weeks is also not to be ignored. The community of Ethereum and the ecosystem are massive.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shall I HODL DOGE? on: January 29, 2021, 06:04:16 PM
I have some DOGE, received from faucets. Not much just around 500.

After the increase in the transaction fees of BTC, I have thought of converting my BTC and LTC to DOGE for the transactions and keep them as DOGE. On the second thought, I thought of converting my DOGE to LTC and keep.

I have gone through some articles about DOGE's future price and I got some 50-50 opinions. I discussed with my friend and he suggested me to hold till mid-2021, I can't say why till mid-2021.

It's true that many sites have started accepting DOGE, thus it is getting popular so there is a chance that the price may increase. Still, my knowledge says there are certain loopholes like there is no upper limit in mining DOGE and it is still much easier to mine compared to others. In short, the demand & cost curve is a bit of a failure here. Though one can't say what might happen after 20 years.

Here I want some expert advice on this. Whether it is a good idea to convert and hold or keep my DOGE reserve constant.

Looks like it was sound advice to keep those DOGE a little bit longer. Really impossible to say what will be next. Wallstreetbets acitvity makes looking at the chart here kind of useless. Maybe just HODL them and look again when the current thing is over. That current thing will surely be a memorable part of crypto history.

So, watch out for them this 2021, seeing as they are considered to be gems in the DeFi industry, following their great benefits.

Sourced from my blog

A token I would like to point to here that does not get mentioned here in the context of DEFI is Hacken AI currently sitting on a lousy market cap of 7 mil is about to announce a bridge to Ethereum, Polkadot, Binance etc. The HAI token is a utility token mainly for the selling of their cybersec services in the b2c space. The mobile wallet is super sleek have a look at that. They are also planning to set up their own DEX and with the bridges to all the main ecosystems all bets are off. Potential x10 or x20 does not cut it here. If you are happy about this one feel free to drop me some merit in a month or so.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CryptoKitties is mental on: January 29, 2021, 07:50:14 AM
It was a crazy time. Ethereum was not set up for what Cryptokitties was throwing at it transaction wise. Then for these kinds of transactions ETH would be relatively expensive these days. If the next project like that is not intended as an act of sabotage they might be better off on a cheaper platform but then Ethereum is the biggest ecosystem by far at the moment.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Altcoin Safe for Investment on: January 28, 2021, 10:46:15 PM
In now days too much Altcoin Project are Launching one by one and all of them claim that invest in his project because we will be successful in upcoming days but in the end they run away and make a scam. They don't woory about people fund and stole them.
So how we can trust on altcoin to give us profit after investment. Because most of them become Scam and Scam. All of them has one Aim how to stole too much fund .
So how we make altcoin investment safe ?

History repeating itself. Expect 90% of those new projects to be gone in 2 years time or only exist on paper. This space is a rollercoaster and it is not always going up. The best you can do is find the next Amazon which is somewhere hidden in all that because blockchain is here to stay.

13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top 6 DeFi projects to watch in 2020 🎯 on: January 28, 2021, 09:58:16 PM
I have no reason to invest in uniswap, it's just a decentralized exchange and that's that. I like Oracle DeFi projects like ChainLink because they are more useful, any DeFi project you want to get into make sure their use case if very useful thus creating more adoptions for the masses

Of course Chainlink is a brilliant project but I would surely not dismiss Uniswap. Ethereum is the biggest ecosystem by far they are listing ALL Ethereum tokens which is a lot. And if other ecosystems like Polkadot or Vechain catch up who will keep them from including projects from those spaces too?? I do not hold any Uniswap but looking at the chart the last couple of days that does not seem like a very smart decision. Ok they are seeing some fightback from Binance but they are well established by now. Not very cheap or quick but super convenient.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DeFi Tokens on: January 28, 2021, 09:44:22 PM
Hello guys, I'm on a low budget right now and looking for Tokens/Crypto that would be really good to invest on. Recently, I was looking for DeFi tokens and kept my eye on Fantom and SushiSwap. But right now, I think I can afford and buy more Fantom once the price got lower.

Do you still have other suggestions or ideas that you think might work on investing DeFi tokens? What are the good DeFi tokens that you think that would be profitable in the next few years?

Chainlink and Allianceblock are very obvious considerations I guess. Uniswap for me is clearly pushing in the direction of Binance with its market cap.

If you want to take on more of a risk to get potentially a proper x maybe do some Research on Frontier (never were really building a community but clearly part of the current DEFI ecosystem)
or even more of an outside bet Multiplier which is a fork of Aave at a currently very low market cap.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CAN RIPPLE SURVIVE? on: January 28, 2021, 09:33:54 PM
Ripple (XRP) has been suffering series of hindrances from regulatory body (The US SEC) since late last year. The attack led to a litigation in a US court leading to panic sales of XRP from majority of their investors. The litigation in the US saw the co-founder of XRP who happens to be the CEO of Stellar XLM sold his XRP. This created more fear among the investors before XRP started to gain the market loss back in January.

Another report came out a week ago that the UK treasury has classified XRP as non-security asset and this is different from the law suit by the US SEC filed against XRP.

Will this mean the XRP might be back to it's position in the Cryptocurrency community soon?

I am suprised Ripple has survived as long as it did. The community was always split on Ripple. Already years ago it was under suspicion to be a Trojan horse of the banks. Then it is centralized and the token supply is not really limited. What can Ripple do that other projects cannot do better? There is a lot of better places to put your money if you want to bet on CEFI and DEFI connecting like Chainlink, Allianceblock or Ocean Protocol.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the most important cryptocurrencies other than bitcoin? on: January 28, 2021, 09:26:56 PM
There are few cryptocurrencies other than bitcoin that will be Monero, Ethereum, Litecoin and so is preferable for me.

1. Ethereum
2. Polkadot
3. Dfinity (once it finally gets listed might be an interesting one.

I would also obviously consider some of the promising DEFI projects mainly:
1.Chainlink
2.Allianceblock (cooperation with London Stock Exchange announced today)
3. Multiplier ( Aave fork trading at a very low market cap will swap to token on Binance smartchain currently certik audit) and after go live should be quick

Cybersecurity:
1. Hacken (they have some big announcement coming check on Dyma Budoring tweets) token very cheap but difficult to buy massive upside

some pennystocks to check almost forgotten at this time for storage:
Opacity and Sharder

other pennystock of interest
Matrix AI

totally forgotten
Eventchain
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What are you guys trading today? on: January 28, 2021, 09:16:43 PM
Bitcoin (BTC) continues to be stagnant at $32k giving time for some alts to recover at a certain level where they can compete like Polkadot (DOT) and Chainlink (LINK). Ethereum (ETH) still on its streak of going up maybe going after an all new ATH. But the real competition starts with top 4 to 10 giving them more chance to gain resistance at this stagnant market. What are you guys trading today?  Huh

I was seriously considering betting against those crazy group from wallstreetbets. Can only recommend to check out their reddit. They are the cause for a mass lawsuit against Robinhood exchange and they are also behind the recent DOGE pump. I was considering placing a bet on the 3X DOGEBEAR but those people are just too crazy. No telling which price they will pump DOGE to. If you want action have a look at DOGE. There will definitely more price movement.

19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Game lover ? Have you invested for a gaming project ?? on: January 21, 2021, 08:04:36 AM
I have seen few gaming companies aims to lead the blockchain digital revolution in the marketing gaming sector . But about 60% of them were scam projects  , and 10-15% were unsuccessful projects.. So , i studied about same type of project by studuying for last two weeks and recognized that project is a quite good project than others.
Project name - n Game Credit (https://www.ingamecredit.com/)
Reasons why I'm interested in this project ---> [ecosystem , based in the United Kingdom with teams working remotely in Australia , 100% of pre-sale goes into ingame prizes , Real Team members with their real photos]

So , As a gamer  Grin Grin Grin Im quite interested to earn some profit and earn new games and earn some profit as well.. Grin Wink Wink ... What do you think Huh

I did but that never came through. It was a smaller project. Then there was Refereum a couple of years ago. Not too much has happened for them. Did you ever watch "Ready player one?" Maybe check out Decentraland. Wink
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Polkadot going to Kill Ethereum? on: January 21, 2021, 08:00:37 AM
Polka dot is an open-source project that works with shared protocol that enables Blockchain Networks to work with Synergy. The token serves three distinct purposes; Governance, Staking and Bonding. This is designed to co-exist with Leading smart contract Blockchains rather than competing with them. This is very appealing factor for some Investors. It won't be easy for the Polka dot to challenge Ethereum as many working projects are already using Ethereum Network even though Technically it is superior project but  It is already Home of 197 projects those are working on its networks  and many more willing to join it.

This is also evident from price movement that we have witnessed during the past month when its price moved from $2 to almost $6 that reflects great interest of Investors in this token. There are some predictions that within a year time , Dot will be Top 3 on Market cap.

Ethereum is the foundation of the biggest ecosystem in the Blockchain space. A big key is a very loyal community for any challenger, no matter if that will be Polkadot or Dfinity at the end of the day. Ethereum has a massive headstart.
