1241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: eth has fallen below 200$ on: September 09, 2018, 05:57:19 AM
Imagine the massive impact this could have on all the ico’s that are holding ethereum still. They would need to cash out their ether at these relatively low levels in order to get enough fiat to keep functioning. This could mean the end ofa lot of them. Interesing times coming up, make sure you’re wearing your seatbelts because it’s about to get bumpyyyy
1242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The bottom is near... on: September 09, 2018, 05:54:33 AM
BTC at 6000
ETH at 200
LTC at 50

looks like the bottom is close people....

what do you'll think?

It’s definitely difficult to call the bottom but those prices seem like a massive sale compared to the end of 2017. On the other side it could halve again. I personally think that in the long term you’re not taking a bad deal if you dollar cost average at these price levels. Definitely seems like we’re about to move lower once again. Only Time will tell Cheesy
1243  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is now a good time to invest in ICO? on: September 09, 2018, 05:50:50 AM
I've been searching for ICOs for a few days and there seems to be many cases of scams and hacks which kinda scares me. Obviously, there is no 100% certainty which is going to be a successful one but is there any way to identify which ones are at least going in the right direction? The first one I looked at was Mossland's Whitepaper and they seemed good with solid community. Or should I just buy BTC or ETH? Any suggestions and ideas would be very helpful!

I know you made this post a while ago now, but my view on ico’s today is not so positive.
Most high tier coins are on super sale, so you’re probably better of picking up some of those, which have a working product already and/ or have proven something already. Just my point of view though
1244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Ethereum price speculation / reasons for current crash? on: September 09, 2018, 05:46:36 AM
Lately we’ve seen a massive crash in Ethereum and most of it’s erc-20 tokens.
The peak price of ethereum was somewhere around the $1500 range, and has fallen below $200 today.
In my opinion This could be an effect of
-the big inflation
-ico’s dumping ethereum, due to lack of funds in fiat

What do you guys think about the bottom price for ethereum and what do you think is the main cause for the recent crash?

Ps: make sure you’re wearing your seatbelts guys because it’s about to get bumpy out there
1245  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Even the Politicians have secret investment in Bitcoin on: September 09, 2018, 05:38:00 AM
DO you know that even some of the so called politicians have secret investments in Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies that no one may be aware of? I believe this is one of the reasons why some of them have double stand when it comes to taking decisions on the adoption or regulation of cryptocurrency. Some of them are scared of publicly supporting crypto. What do you think?

Obviously some politicians own crypto. This is absolutely positive for the space, as this will cause good regulation in stead of bans. I like to see bitcoin and crypto in general as one big octopus. It spreads it’s tentacles everywhere and will eventually be so big and widely spread that it can’t be ignored anymore
1246  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WARREN BUFFET says Bitcoin won't end well on: September 09, 2018, 05:30:59 AM
What is your  opinion as per  Warren buffet statement, he is a wealthy giant globally he told CNBC on Wednesday the recent craze over bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies won't end well. "In terms of cryptocurrencies, generally, I can say with almost certainty that they will come to a bad ending,"
Am really scared hope the end is not near. I want to hear from knowledgeable individual what the future holds.

Warren buffet only thinks about his own wallet, which most likely doesn’t own any bitcoins YET. He missed the boat and therefor tried to talk bad about it. The day he’ll change his mind and be positive about crypto, you’ll know that has bought some Grin
1247  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 4 Signs and Symptoms That You’re Suffering From Bitcoin Addiction on: September 09, 2018, 05:27:44 AM
Let’s face it ladies and gentlemen, we all love Bitcoin right? However, we notice ourselves that every single day, we have our own habits in our daily lives. However, it all changed when we expose ourselves too much in Bitcoin and in the world of cryptocurrency.

Without further ado, I will share to you the common “signs and symptoms” that you are suffering from Bitcoin addiction:

1. Your Google Chrome/Firefox/Safari browser always have a tab reserved for CoinMarketCap

Hahaha!! I am so, so, so guilty of this one! When I was working or browsing with some stuff, I noticed that CoinMarketCap tab is present for most of the time. You know why? It is because the volatility of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are so high, in which the price could change drastically whether if moons or dips.

I don’t know about you guys, though. Unless if you are a Bitcoin day trader, you would always reserve a tab for CoinMarketCap.

2. You are not excited in conversations unless if it’s about Bitcoin, blockchain, etc.

Ever since I engaged myself into cryptocurrency, I started to become passionate with it. However, I started to notice that when my family and friends are talking about their interests, I’m starting to get bored and may only socialize a little with them. However, when someone is mentioning about Bitcoin, blockchain, etc., my excitement level increases to talk more about that.

I know you guys are feeling the same thing, but not all, it depends.

3. You are excited when you hear the word “moon”

Of course, of course, of course!!! I love it when I hear that word “moon” because it is all about profiting from my Bitcoin investment. Not only Bitcoin though, but other coins and tokens as well that I am engaging with.

Every time I hear it, it’s like I cannot wait to check the charts once again. How about you guys?

4. Checking the price and charts is the first thing to do when you wake up and before you sleep

I am super, super, super guilty of this! I usually sleep around 2 AM to 3 AM, and before I sleep and turning off my Macbook Air, I check the price first. And when I wake up, I opened it and check CoinMarketCap immediately. Lol

I just don’t know if you guys are having the same habit as me, but it is what it is when we are having too much exposure with Bitcoin, blockchain, etc.

Are you suffering from Bitcoin addiction? Well then, welcome to the club! Wink

I think the word “addiction” is not the right term to be used. Any single one of us that reads this post has found his/her way into the bitcoin community. It’s about sharing all our stories regarding the entire crypto space. Sharing One big “passion”. Which brings me to the , in my opinion, correct term: Passion
1248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: the big fall has arrived today. on: September 09, 2018, 05:21:19 AM
Why is the cryptocurrency market falling today? All cryptocurrencies have fallen a lot this year.Does it mean that this market is going to end?

The market is becoming more and more like the 2014 bear market. I am not saying that It will actually last as long as back then, but it clearly has similarities. Personally I think we’ve seen the worst already, however an other drop of ~50%+ in btc wouldn’t be surprising.

1258  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Special Auction for 5x Denarium 1/2 BTC Gold 2018 Coin on: August 30, 2018, 03:16:08 PM
COMIT>>>>Yes it does seem so... Roll Eyes

These coins should have been designated lots 1 thru 5.

So much unnecessary confusion really..and Denarium should have been here in the last 30 minutes to clarify and update the highest bidders list.

I also see Ramelius only won one coin according to Teegumes list...shouldn't it have been two?

I mean I see that was his intention there..that is to bid on two coins.

Why would he bid higher when his first bid was one of the winning bids??

Yes the rules says what it says and if that's the case then the latest bid cancels the the first one?Huh

If 5 lots were designated one for each coin all of this would have been avoided. Tongue

Absolutely, this auction won't win the professionalism price!

I haven't been contacted in the meantime, Denarium hasn't been online since yesterday afternoon... Huh

And you are right about teeGUMES list, it should be as follows:

Ramelius 1 @ 0.13
BitcoinNewsMagazine 1 @ 0.128
Ramelius 1 @ 0.127
hybridsole 1 @ 0.125
Comit 1 @ 0.123

Anyway, looking forward to where this is going. Roll Eyes

Based on following auction rule:
“When you post a bid, the bids in your previous posts are considered to be automatically canceled. You can put multiple bids in one post, however.”

The 0.13 from ramelius should therefor replace his previous bid of 0.127.
Teegumes list should therefor be the correct one:

Ramelius 1 @ 0.13
BitcoinNewsMagazine 1 @ 0.128
hybridsole 1 @ 0.125
Comit 1 @ 0.123
bavicrypto 1 @ 0.122

Unless they say that 20utc was the actualy stop time or....
I don’t even  care anymore at this point, just let us know the winning bids please.

Thanks
1259  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Special Auction for 5x Denarium 1/2 BTC Gold 2018 Coin on: August 29, 2018, 08:29:16 PM
3min after last bid seems hard with the website constantly going on and off today..
@denarium Let us know if the auction is finished or still running please

Just in case: bavicrypto 1 @ 0.126

The auction rules didn’t specify anything about forum downtime. By the way, forum hasn’t had any downtime the last couple of hours (unlike the rest of the day).

True, they didn’t specify anything about forum downtime. @denarium maybe something to include in the next auction. Especially on days like this.
1260  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Special Auction for 5x Denarium 1/2 BTC Gold 2018 Coin on: August 29, 2018, 08:23:54 PM
I could also make a case that my BitcoinNewsMagazine 1 @ 0.128 bid at 10 seconds before 20:00 UTC was the winning high bid but will leave it to @Denarium to sort out.

Would also make sense to me, as they don’t mention anything about an actual EXTENSION beyond 20:00UTC. I quote:

End date and time: Wednesday 29th of August at 20:00 UTC and when there have been no new bids in *3 minutes*!

So it should’ve ended right after BitcoinNewsMagazine 1 @ 0.128 , right?

Looking forward to denariums respond
