Bitcoin Optech Newsletter #101
Jun 10, 2020This week’s newsletter links to a blog post and paper about using eclipse attacks against Bitcoin software in order to steal from LN channels and describes the history and impact of a fee overpayment attack that affects hardware wallets. Also included are our regular sections with the summary of a Bitcoin Core PR Review Club meeting, descriptions of recent software releases, and summaries of recent changes to popular Bitcoin infrastructure projects.
Action items
● Check hardware wallet compatibility: if your software or your processes allow using hardware wallets to spend segwit inputs, check whether your system remains compatible with your wallet’s latest firmware update. For example, Trezor’s latest firmware requires software interfacing with it to be upgraded to continue handling segwit inputs; Ledger’s latest firmware will print a warning when processing segwit inputs received from non-updated software. Other hardware wallets may release similar updates in the future; contact the manufacturers for more information about their plans. Una bolsa de valores alemana cotizará un ETP de Bitcoin
La firma de inversión, ETC Group, planea cotizar un ETP de Bitcoin en la bolsa de valores digital Xetra a fines de junio.Según ETF Stream, el Grupo ETC anunció el 9 de junio, que Bitcoin Exchange Traded Crypto (BTCE), un producto cotizado en bolsa (ETP), se lanzará en Deutsche Börse Xetra, después de que este recibiera la aprobación de los reguladores financieros alemanes.

Si me refiero a España y creo que al igual que otros países, parece que han puesto el semáforo en verde y hay que ir hacia adelante sí o sí con todas las consecuencias, los medios se encargan de esto como lacayos de quien les llena las cuentas con subvenciones, pero si escuchas la parte científica mas, médicos, sanitarios o personal que a estado en primera linea de fuego, su actitud es como de resignación, esperando que no suceda lo peor.
Salir hay que salir y consumir lo necesario para ayudar a todos, pero de ahí a que me siente en el interior de un restaurante, van a pasar días, pasamos de una semana todo prohibido a la siguiente ya puedes hacer prácticamente lo que quieras.
En unos meses veremos como va todo.

La última víctima más reciente de un ataque con ransomware es un contratista de la NASAMientras SpaceX y la NASA celebraban el lanzamiento de su primer cohete operado por humanos, el 30 de mayo, los ciberdelincuentes detrás de un ransomware conocido como, DopplePaymer, lanzaron un ataque contra uno de los contratistas de TI de la NASA.

There is no option for rebuying in the inevitable post bull crash. I will sell half (again) but will rebuy (again) in the depths of the inevitable winter.
The goal sooner or later is to pass the last ATH, until this happens it would be very cautious. I’m 85% BTC, 15% USD. The only real question over the next 18 months is when to convert the remaining USD to BTCThe right amount to maintain your current standard of living. |
