In my opinion, with the current supply of bitcoins 21 million is a slight amount to the whales, even if Bitcoin has been distributed all over the miners, maybe bitcoin is above the peak plus if more and more trends in the community about Bitcoin, the price will still continue to rise because of the supply of a little.

Scammers are back with their old method but with another new trick. Currently, they are streaming video on youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KoQX4hElcSU&feature=emb_rel_pause, with the video title 100000 ETH giveaway. Be alert guys. They made the channel name Foxnews which is fake of course and they are streaming an @ethglobal video. They came back by hacking a few YouTubers, even my friends experienced it. Very cautious for YouTubers, they are fraudsters with giveaway title 1000 ETH usually hack channels that have a lot of subscribed levels |

As the covid crisis is evolving step-by-step, started as a health crisis it is bending towards economic crisis which is showing an elevation from physical to digital. Does Coronavirus pandemic will permanently change consumer behaviour towards digital currency?  I feel it will change them, even those who do not like this digital currency, because more security when Garry is ongoing, bitcoin can make P2P transactions but without any touch, only through Android, or PC connected with your wallet. Me too, XLM is my favorite coin, aside from xlm I like the coin that price tends to be cheaper but is listed on Coinmarketcap, like Tron, Doge, IOTA, also some coins that are a trend like DIA. Choosing cheap coins tends to get more profit with small capital. |

It looks like the 8% dev tax for bitcoin cash is going to be implemented, do you guys think this is a good idea to also be brought to BTC as well in order to have funds for future development instead of relying on donations?
Bitcoin is designed with a decentralized system, I think this concept is the best for Bitcoin, relying on the cost of some sort of change the concept of Bitcoin origin is equally damaging what has been made. I think it's better to use other coins to make things centralization |

hey guys, i have been holding since 1Q2017, and pretty much closed my eyes on crypto since the huge crash. i see its getting back on its feet slowly, just been wondering are there any new coins that are looking good and promising. i could dyor them but it would take at least a week thanks!  In my opinion, all the new coins can not promise you anything, but can you see DIA at the moment? DIA Pumps A few tens of percent so that can trust from investors. Hello, I see big differences between these two big rating agencies CCID (The China Center for Information Industry Development) and WeissRating. According to CCID is Bitcoin one of the worst cryptocurrencies. In WeissRating Bitcoin has achieved the best mark. Also, EOS in WeissRating has a pretty different rating. How can they get so different results? CCID  WeissRating  Can not be 100 percent believable even what they say that it is a project has a high rating is not necessarily certainly the project will be a success. We can not predict something clearly. Just enough predictions and sure that this project is suitable for investing. |

They are starting to recognize it as they find the value of it growing back again. They will not ignore it as it's giving the attention of everyone who looks after the price but not what it is. Just like any other payment options that we have in our economy, bitcoin can be an alternative of it. They don't have to look at it as something negative which they can't benefit. Looking like a high-end person will always see the negative side of Bitcoin. I see it for myself. Even today already some countries already use Bitcoin as an alternative currency and are very good in some areas of business as well. I hope it will happen in my country. And they don't look at the negative side of bitcoins. |

Just a question to ask for advice. Right now with all the markets they way they are. Bitcoin is always in the upward in the market. Of course it has periods of going down. But crypto market is doing quite well in these times.
I am asking what is the best course of action?
Should I just keep buying and HODL and keeping my Bitcoin for a rainy day?
Or is trading is back and forth to stable coins and trying to make more gains a good action plan too?

The best option seems to be buying and hodl when it reaches the top by not getting too greedy every take profit is the best thing. We have entered the bull market where Bitcoin and the Altcoin Segelitir rises. And a chance to ping pong or hold it to get a little more profit. |

We can't really spend bitcoin here in our country that easy since there are a lot of people that still don't know what it is. If we really wanted to use it though, we can buy some shoppee or lazada points out of a local exchange using that bitcoin. It might not be the same as you people using bitcoin directly but, well, I am also using it.
Maybe making a giveaway is the best solution, by sharing Bitcoins (like airdrop) with the lay community, they will know its usability and they will try to apply it in daily life. |

If you are a newbie in crypto world you are bound to make some mistakes but this thread is for you on how to avoind making those mistakes
1. You dont want to skip the learning part- You need to have an idea of what youre going to even if it is to make a research about it. You have read about an asset before you invest in it to know exactly what they are building.
2. You want to avoid using the wrong crypto exchanges. This is one thing you want to avoid because it can make you lose all your assets. You need to research about the exchange before even registering. Some exchanges have fake volumes and are not transparent enough.
3. You dont want to rely on a single coin- Diversification is very important when it comes to investment. You dont want to put all your eggs in one basket.
4. You want to avoid the fear of missing out (FOMO)- When you see everyone buying a trending coin you dont jump in, it might too good to be true
5. You dont want to forget the basic security. Keeping your private keys safe is very important. As a newbie you should understand how important private keys are. Also 2 factor authenticator shold be added to all your exchanges
Do not forget, also should be available backup, very dangerous if all money is entered in only 1 coin. I very agree on the 4th point. |
