It's always interesting to observe how btc value fluctuates regardless of any logic, based on pure news and speculation. Chinese miners are shutting down their operation? Great, the hashrate will come down, less daily dumping from miners... right? Wrong LOL, rates still go down.

From my understanding I noticed that democracy is only system of government that will help for proper treatment of less privileged with manner, any Country that doesn't practice democracy system kind of government will suffer, because democracy is the only place an average individual in the country can exercise her feelings to the government and government will pay attention, so any Country that does not practice democracy system will definitely live life of difficulties. That's personal opinion.
I guess Brunei, UAE and likes might disagree with you here

Our bad, we were probably too complacent, but we are commenting now: no malware was ever posted from our account. The recent s**tstorm was caused by NiceHash when they saw an opportunity to smear us, and steer their users to their in-house miner instead. Here is our quite long overview about this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2647654.msg56526051#msg56526051 MEGA deleted our account but as far as we know they never tried to replace the actual legitimate files with something malicious (even NiceHash admitted so, when pressed if they were distributing a fake version of PhoenixMiner). Just to be on the safe side, we removed all (now dead) links to MEGA from our messages. There is constant stream of newbie accounts posting fake "new versions" and "hotfixes" of PhoenixMiner in our thread but certainly you can't hold us responsible for everything that is posted there? And now there is another one but this time from seemingly reputable user. We don't know if the account is hacked, or the user is really pushing this fake, and most probably malicious release of PhoenixMiner User : JorisK Post : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2647654.msg56529405#msg56529405Check this
PhoenixMiner 5.5d - hotfix available
Notes
-Greatly improved the work of video cards with 4 gb
-Fixed global problems for video cards from Nvidia/AMD -Fixed errors and crashes when the miner was running -Improved work on Win7 and 10xx series video cards -Increased hashrate on video cards series 20xx,30xx -Increased hashrate on Ethash by an average of 10% -Increased hashrate on ETCHash by an average of 7% -Improved the work of the miner in general
Download Windows: [removed url] Linux: [removed url]
[mod note: removed potentially malicious URLs for an already deleted post]Just finished reading 20+ pages in your thread regarding this issue. I use your miner on my rigs and buy did it get me scared at one point... Was very close to reinstalling the system etc when I saw your post. Please don't disappear again for so long, especially when any sort of FUD starts.

The way things go globally in the last couple of decades I guess it's not only Bitcoin China might majority control of in not so remote future...

Let me guess, the card in question is EVGA or Gigabyte and the second one is another brand? Most likely thermal throttling is the case, 3080\3090 are known for that, these 2 brands being the worst (in that case only LOL). Note: it's not the core temp that you see in afterburner, it's memory temp, you'd need utility called HWinFO64 to see it. Download it, take a look at your memory jusction temp sensor reading and you'll most likely see 110-112 degrees Celsius. Common fix is to change thermal pads to good quality ones with 12-17 W/mk (I use these, https://cdn.alzashop.com/ImgW.ashx?fd=f4&cd=CB131w1&i=1.jpg) and do everything possible to improve the ventilation. Both cards are EVGA FTW3 Ultra 3090's. Not using Afterburner but EVGA's Precision X1 instead. 60c is way too low for thermal throttling when I have the temp target set at 91c lol. Did you carefully read what I wrote? Did you download the utility and check your memory junction temperatures? You are still talking about your core temperature which has nothing to do with the issue. My bad, forgot about that. I just used GPU-Z instead as I don't have hwinfo installed on this PC atm and yeah the memory temps are getting seriously high, 110c peak. I've been debating watercooling these cards anyway so perhaps this is a good excuse to get the air coolers off and replace those pads in the process. EDIT. So I just checked the 2nd card and realised it's not that far behind the first one, sitting at 108c on it's memory yet it's still performing way better. Commie is right, 110C is where throttling starts. If you keep your monitoring window open (by the way, does GPU-Z show memory junction temps? Didn't know that) and watch it next to miner window you'll see fluctuations in hash rates when temp. goes from 108 to 110c and back. And it may go as high as 112, too. As was already said changing thermal pads is the only solution. If you do it yourself keep in mind that EVGA doesn't put any (sic) between PCB and backplate, don't forget to add them. PS merit is appreciated

Talking about today... Thanks for this one! Tried it and it took both "levels" last night. Can you please PM me more detail about this service of yours?

Something funny with these figures. I sold pure masternode a couple of months ago when it was bringing 1-2 stakes per day.
|
|

What would be the best stakesplit and stakecombine parameters for PoS?

I guess this project has successfully screwed the whole community including their campaign manager.

Coin developers have to fix issues with their code ASAP, before shitstorm of newbies will come shouting it's a scam. All pools have problems with payouts because of this one, repair it quick guys!
Agreed, this is unacceptable. Messing with miners payouts is the last thing you want, or your coin will die.

Hello And excuse me for my bad english I have set up a masternode with this guide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gg2z-PRosyc"Set up multiple Pure Masternodes - VPS cold Windows Wallet" It seems ok but when i close the windows wallet on my pc for several hours Wallet going to out of sync and after resync when i click Update in the tab Masternode --> My Masternode : masternode is not runnig and i need to restart it. Its normal? Setup a mastenode VPS cold window wallet my pc must always be on? Or Starting Masternode on windows pc is just for recover my 13 pure and send it at my address? Thx Can i have a slack invite pls? After you restart the wallet give it some time to load full list of masternodes. It can take anything from 5 to 30 minutes.

Looks like I managed to get in on time, great
|
|
|
Something is wrong with my wallet, I guess - it starts with no warning messages/windows then shuts down after ~30 seconds. Staking shows as inactive, no sync bar at the bottom. How do I fix this?
|

With 450+ nodes running MN income has reduced a lot, 1 payment in 2-3 days... POS still works relatively well though.

It looks like you guys need to find/hire a community manager to help. Ho point of being present on slack, discord etc when there's no one to talk to and ask questions. Bad PR, very bad.

Could someone please explain to me what is the difference between an Altcoin and a Token. I'm a newbie, so please don't mind me asking.
I took part in some airdrop recently and now I was told that it is a token and not a coin. What does that mean ? What can I do with it ? Can I trade tokens ? What's the point of having tokens ?
Tokens are usually issued on ICOs. You can't mine them and they are being traded on relatively small number of exchanges. Altcoins are, well, all coins that are not Bitcoin
|
|
|
It depends on where you live as well as (with some exchanges) your nationality. State these and I'm sure people will give you advice.
