661  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what are risks in adding liquidity on a defi platform? on: July 30, 2021, 07:55:34 AM
IMO, I believe that ever since we ventured into the crypto space we are already exposed to all the risks associated with it, like the market volatility, exit scam, hacking, etc. that's why we should put first in our mind that the risk is always present before we are going to invest in any projects, particularly with Defi, NFT, etc. the self-initiated research and verification, about the project, will help but still, it was not a guarantee that the project will become successful, the word risk is typically associated with the crypto investment, so for me its like a gamble a high risk but high returns. Adding liquidity to any defi platform is our own responsibility and we should aware of it.
662  Other / Archival / Re: Near-Zero Fees in the Bitcoin Network on: July 29, 2021, 03:36:07 PM
That was good and It will very attractive to all Bitcoin users if that happens, a near-zero fee is a big relief, But the million-dollar question? Is that really possible? I think it's not going to happen because the users are always racing to be the first to confirm and because of that the fees will keep increasing and the transactions were stuck on the network again and again so it's a continuous cycle that Bitcoin users should endure if the problem will not be fixed in any other means, and I think LN will be the best solution. just my opinion.
663  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why you shouldn't think about a profitable investment. on: July 29, 2021, 03:06:08 PM
IMHO, I think the crypto market today is already polluted with projects that have no real use-case and utilization and most of them are just based on speculation and too good to be true promises that's why it's very risky to get on board with those kinds of projects so for the better avoid them to save your own money. the increasing number of meme tokens without real use-cases is out of control and most of them are just copycats with trillions of token supply that later on, become a pump and dump instrument that why keep vigilant all the time verify the potential projects before investing in it.
664  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for ICO 2021 on: July 28, 2021, 02:37:04 PM
The year 2021 has witness so many changes and introduction of new development in the cryptocurrency market such as NFT projects, that made me wanting to know if ICO projects are still available, I mean good ICO project that can give 2X profits just like what we hard back in the ICO era of 2017.

I will appreciate if I can see a list of excellent projects running they ICO at the moment you comments are highly welcome.

I think it's very hard to find good quality ICO project nowadays because most projects now are already using the new and trending fundraising methods, and also most of the projects are preferred to run and IEO, or IDO, on any trusted exchange and if there's is a good ICO project I believe it's already rare, unlike in previous years particularly in 2017 were most of the ICO projects are hitting the big mark. Anyway instead of looking at those good ICO projects, why not try to invest in Defi and NFT's?
665  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 48168.60,Binance is the most dangerous exchange. on: July 28, 2021, 12:09:55 PM
I'm using Binance since it was launch in 2017 and so far I have never encountered any problems while using it. that's why I never understand why Binance has become the most dangerous exchange? I believe it's only a FUD, but to be fair let us wait for the investigation results, I'm sure it was done by some independent body, the Binance, market manipulation accusation is very hard to believe because who will be in their right mind to buy Bitcoin at that expensive price of $48168.60 and sell it low, for me that was stupid and weird why just burning millions for what?
666  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shiba Inu vs. Dogecoin. Who is the Lead Dog of the Pack? on: July 27, 2021, 03:30:20 PM
I think it is an overrated statement, why only Dogecoin and Shiba Inu? there are too many meme/joke tokens out there? by the way, I'm just asking.
IMO, I believe that both meme coins/tokens are just instruments of a pump and dump scheme, If someone tells us that he manages to earn a profit out of it, I believe that's true, but I also believe that more people are losing money behind compare to those who earned profit from those meme coins. thats why be cautious as always.
667  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: prepare for next halving on: July 27, 2021, 03:06:54 PM
The best thing is prepare for next halving event. Now very risky point to invest. one day 10% green then all think that market will be ok. but after 1 week 20% down.

2024 and 2028 are we need to focus.

The crypto market is always behaving like this, so it's nothing new with it. or maybe we should apply a pre-emptive method if we want to invest in this kind of trend because as you said the market nowadays is very unpredictable that's why we should learn to cope with it. we just need to learn how to play in this kind of situation to prevent any huge possible losses due to the unpredictable market condition.

Anyway, about halving I think the next scheduled halving was in 2024, and its almost 3 years from now so preparing for it is not bad but I think its too early to do that since we are only in 2021, IMO, the best thing to do now instead of preparing the far away halving event why we just enjoy the current market condition and make some money with it.
668  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Buying BTC from KYC exchange on: July 26, 2021, 12:15:02 PM
Up until now, I thought the only way to convert fiat to BTC is through KYC exchanges. It seems like there are alternatives such as Bysk. Did I shoot myself in the foot by purchasing through KYC exchanges?

I think it depends on your personal perspective because I believe that KYC is not bad, I'm a law-abiding citizen, and in my country if we transact to a bank we should go through a KYC procedure it was required by the law and also in my country I can buy Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies in a central Bank regulated and license crypto exchange so buying BTC on a KYC exchange is not a problem with me.
669  Economy / Speculation / Re: will bitcoin ever go down like 2018-2020 on: July 26, 2021, 11:54:13 AM
so yea like will ever just stabilize really low like in 2018 and 2020? or are we at the low?

Let's get to the point, we all know that Bitcoin price is very volatile and regularly fluctuates daily, that's why no one knows exactly what will happen next And if you think that Bitcoin price will fluctuate more just like 2018-2020 respectively, well it's also possible because in crypto everything can happen, But as far as I know, base on all available data today, the Bitcoin price was returning to $40K price level again so I think Bitcoin price today is far from returning to what it was back in 2018-2020 price level.
670  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thorchain why was it hacked? Review. on: July 25, 2021, 03:46:56 PM
It is a very unfortunate event, Imagine a platform that was hacked 2 times in two weeks? I see some red flags about it, I'm also not an expert but it has some motives that continuously playing in my mind, I don't understand why the developer took the risk when they already know that the platform was already compromised that's suspicious to me, although they already clarify it. But still many people are not contented with the reason including me. Just an opinion!
671  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: THE BULL RIDE OF 2021 on: July 25, 2021, 03:28:55 PM
I agree with your observation mate, and that's true Axie is very popular now even in Southeast Asia and particularly in my country also. But we should always do research and familiarized how NFT's will work so that we won't make things more complicated, the NFT's are good and promising but if you dont have not enough knowledge regarding the "NFT dynamics" then you should consider educating yourself first before investing.
672  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CEO of Twitter has full control of the Bitcoin market by banning Elon Musk on: July 24, 2021, 02:38:08 PM
Bitcoin is still new and has a smaller market cap than other investments that one famous person on Twitter can influence the prices of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.

It's another hell of an idea, But I believe it won't work, even Jack Dorsey will ban Elon Musk out of Twitter, and then what's the difference? for me, it's nothing but complete nonsense, why blaming Elon Musk for just a simple tweet? blame those people who picked and believe those tweets as a piece of advice from Elon Musk. it's crazy but it was really happening because of those simple tweets of Elon many noobs, investors, speculator's funds are burned.
673  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you accept hackers’ Bitcoin donations to charitable organizations? on: July 24, 2021, 02:21:31 PM
I think it is not a big issue for the charitable institution, as long as there is a kind of donation they don't care where the funds are coming from, things like that are simply happening around literally, that's why I believe that there's nothing wrong about it, especially those funds are intended to help people that badly needed like feeding, etc. so the purpose is noble even if the funds are coming from the hackers.
674  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will everyone still believe in Elon Musk? on: July 23, 2021, 04:07:31 PM
I think it is hypocritical to scold Musk when he criticizes Bitcoin, and to praise him when he is optimistic about Bitcoin. I think he should take his thoughts and concerns about Bitcoin seriously, because many outsiders have these ideas. But at the same time, people should ignore his flip-flops on Twitter or act like a child. Elon Musk is just a person like everyone else. Stop using Elon Musk as an argument for or against Bitcoin, but actually listen to what he has to say and think about whether you have the answer.

We are not hypocrites, we support Bitcoin. What do you think we are going to do?

IMO, I think we cannot judge Elon Musk this time, Just because of his criticism, let us consider that Elon Musk is a real-world businessman he is involved in two of the most technologically advanced companies in the world *Tesla and *SpaceX correct me if I'm wrong? so he was interested in technology-based enterprises and because Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are the product of a revolutionary technology called blockchain that's why we can presume that Elon Musk is also interested in crypto the mistakes are within us because we listen and take those simple tweets as advice from wealthy and influential persons like Elon Musk. just remember it's our money that's why the responsibility is within our own hands and not on other people. Just ignore Elon Musk's tweets and focus on something to avoid stress.
675  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador’s first wind farmProject,it's good news for Bitcoin on: July 23, 2021, 03:43:44 PM
https://renews.biz/70976/el-salvadors-first-wind-farm-commissioned/
El Salvador’s first wind farm Project  has successfully commissioned now.We all know Bitcoin has become the country's legal cryptocurrency.Sure it's good news for Bitcoin mining in this country. How do you think of it?

Well, that's good news, I hope it will help to minimize that FUD regarding Bitcoin mining, which was powered from a dirty power source that contributed to the greenhouse effect in the atmosphere, This pieces of information can provide a positive outcome in Bitcoin and cryptocurrency mining if will implemented thoroughly. Anyway, aside from the wind, solar and hydropower sources El Salvador can also tap their huge Geothermal energy resources to power the Bitcoin and cryptocurrency mining farms if possible.
676  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ELON MUSK, JACK DORSEY, CATHIE WOOD TO DISCUSS BITCOIN Today! BTC up or down? on: July 22, 2021, 10:41:37 AM
I hope the discussion will be fruitful and create positivity in the crypto industry in general. And not just limited on the temporary pump and then followed by dump? because I believe that's not sustainable in any sense. by the way, Elon Musk and Jack Dorsey are both big names in a different arena But vocally supporting the crypto industry so their popularity can be used to further promote the crypto industry.

BTC up or down? I don't think that's important for now, But since the discussion was focused on Bitcoin maybe it can influence the market temporarily. so just watch and observe.
677  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Low market cap coins that you are interested in? on: July 22, 2021, 09:32:19 AM
What are some low market cap coins that you are holding and think might be big? No BSC shitcoins or dog coins, please.

I personally have a small stack of TRIAS, RAMP, OGN, 1Inch, LTO, Injective Protocol and a rather sizeable stack of Rose (Oasis Protocol).

I think you were not asking for low cap gems for a reason? Because you are not open to any other blockchain option, In your thread, it's pretty obvious that you are shilling the ROSE coin will I think you are right the Oasis protocol is one of the very promising projects so I can consider that in the list, But I think you were wrong by calling BSC project as a shitcoin because there's a lot BSC base projects today that are also useful and also contributing to the crypto market. But I agree with your judgment in those so-called animal meme coins.
678  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Convince me that bounties paying in anything other than Bitcoin are worth it on: July 21, 2021, 05:26:16 PM
IMO, I think there's no need to convince anybody here, Because, like any other bounty campaigns we all know that there were no guaranteed results in most bounty campaigns especially if the bounty was paid in the native token, that was only rely on the token sale results, In short, we are just speculating, and it's up to everyone if they are willing to participate in that bounty, the surest bounty campaigns are those paid by liquid cryptocurrencies, such like BTC, ETH, Stablecoin's like USDT, DAI and even the Gold Token. and I can attest to that.
679  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why the hate on binance exchange on: July 21, 2021, 04:54:28 PM
Is there any tangible reason why binance exchange is been hunted? It seems they just hate success or what? Anyways no matter what they try CZ is a determined fellow, that's why binance made it this far, it's my best exchange and won't be changing any time soon

IMO, I believe that the Binance case is more on regulatory issues, And not for any other reason, Binance should comply with all of the requirements set by the regulators of that particular country because it's about the law and compliance is part of it. Binance exchange should not use an "alibis" that they are operating in a decentralized company structure because countries and governments are not buying that word called decentralization because it was opposite on behalf of their representation. so for me, it's better to comply to avoid any problems in the future.
680  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Red flags in the bear market.FBI Warns&Dow plunge. on: July 20, 2021, 02:49:37 PM
I think the bearish sentiment is clearly seen and felt across markets, and not just limited to crypto and the stock market, I believe only Gold was showing stability today. For me, the best way to avoid the necessary losses because of the continued decrease of crypto prices due to many factors is to convert your portfolios into stable coins/gold so that you save some of your position. actually, I already tried it a couple of times in crypto, and it's effective to me. and I don't know if other users are buying this idea because most of them are willing to hold their cryptocurrencies even the price/value was continuously falling.
