21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much of your total capital is in crypto? on: July 26, 2021, 03:53:53 PM
Have you ever calculated how much of your total capital is in cryptocurrency?

In my case, i have 60% of my money in bank accounts, 20% in stock market, 5% in cash and only 15% in crypto.

For now I have most of the assets in crypto. Because it has a great opportunity to make a profit compared to holding real money. I only use the bank for local transactions, nothing more. So, a little money in the bank, just for daily needs.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you invest in TRC20 tokens on: July 26, 2021, 03:49:06 PM
Everyone knows that many have invested in ERC20 tokens from the Ethereum platform, but do you intend to invest in TRC20 tokens from the TRON platform, if "YES" what token did you buy and please include the reason as well.

I invest in Tron, but not with TRC20. Because the price of Tron is still very low, so we can invest a large amount. While waiting for the price to increase, we can stake. Even if the results are meager.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for good projects on: July 25, 2021, 09:20:23 PM
Im still kind of new to the crypto market and am looking for some good crypto projects. Im looking for cheap coins with great fundamentals that can grow big.
I've heard stuff about coins like:
XRP
HBAR
ADA
DIVI

But im not sure which one to get
Looking for your opinions

All the coins you mentioned are great coins. But among all, the ADA coin survived after the pump happened. And the price of ADA so far is still very good compared to some other coins, even with coins in general.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lessons from crypto in 2018 on: July 25, 2021, 09:16:02 PM
What valuable lesson(s) have you learnt from the crypto space in 2018 and how is it going to shape your involvement in the space going forward? Looking forward to your responses, hoping one or two persons learn a thing or two from them.

In 2018 many complained about crypto, because most of the crypto became dumps after the bullrun in mid-2017 to early 2018. And after the 2021 bullrun it can be concluded that there will be a time for crypto to pump, and there is a time for crypto to dump .
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: High discount in presale on: July 24, 2021, 08:09:13 PM
Is 75% discount in presale of a project way too high? What do you think will happen to such project giving away too high discount for a presale? Will this cos huge dump or you've seen projects that survives after such massive discount

UPDATE

I meant 75% not $, that was a mistake and thanks for understanding

Indeed, at the time of pre-sale, the discount given was very high. Some of us think of the huge profits to be made, but some of us think of the next market after the distribution is done. What worries us is not the discount, but the remaining tokens that are not sold and entered on the exchange as a whole, then the market conditions will dump. I think the team should also be consistent with what they have explained in their whitepaper regarding the remaining unsold tokens.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't panic on: July 24, 2021, 08:03:04 PM
Why do people lose money in crypto? the number one reason is panic, they tend to be controlled by emotion, for newbies never ever just bought something you really know nothing about, that's one of the rule, research is needed, your money is important so don't waste it with wrong decisions, if you decided to what coin to buy, don't sell with small movement crypto is volatile, make some target for losses and earning.

Yes. Some traders panic when they see a dump market. But others because of needs that must be met. Because we have been in crypto investing for a long time, and have seen how the crypto price moves process, so panic is no longer the main reason for us. But we also need to be aware of this, because it also results in loss of assets.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pancake Swap on: July 24, 2021, 07:57:13 PM
I need help getting set up with Pancake Swap. I live in the US. I have watched about 75 videos. Some say you can use Binance.us and other say you can use KuCoin to buy cake and bnb for the fees.

So what do I do first? Set up my MetaMask Wallet, set up my Pancake Swap Account, buy by bnb/cake on KuCoin?
I wish there was a class specifically for this so I can have someone explain it as Im doing it rather than which 50 videos and at times the person given a video goes off on tangent or goes to fast. Ugh. Help.

Yes. For US citizens you must use Binance.us, because for US citizens there is already a special Binance and cannot be used by other than Americans.
Regarding Pancakes you can buy them on several exchanges. These include Binance, KuCoin, Gate, Bithumb, WazirX and many others. You can also use swap exchanges, but you also need a BSC balance (Smartchain version of BNB).
For details about the exchange see here https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/pancakeswap/markets/
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scam Projects and Bounty . Way forward?? on: July 24, 2021, 07:54:27 PM
So far this year , a lot of scams have occurred in the crypto sphere ranging from projects scamming investors and as well as projects not paying hunters for their works.

What do you think can be done to counter this ill manner behaviors that has been painting cryptocurency bad?

I think this problem is nothing new. Many of the project CEOs do not pay participants. They gave many reasons, some ignored it when asked by participants. Recently I saw a lot of complaints that occurred in a new project, maybe you can check on the Bounty site, the Telegram group. They don't value the participants and just ignore them. Maybe there is no solution for this problem, because this problem has happened many times but not solved till now.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are MEME Coins A NEW Trend on: July 21, 2021, 07:22:37 PM
With the rise of Doge Coin, there have been countless MEME coins launch on different platform.
What are you thoughts on meme coins? Are they bad for the industry? Or Are they a gateway drug for newbies to enter the game?

There are coin memes that can indeed be used as investments, because they are really serious about running the project even though the current value of the coin is very low. But there are also meme coins just to be trash in the wallet. I think you need to look in more detail before investing in meme coins.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 21 July is going to big for btc price? on: July 21, 2021, 07:00:04 PM
Btc going to big move after 21 July because ELON MUSK going to meet JACK DORSEY, this meeting purpose is how to mine btc, which enargy are used in btc mine
You can check also: https://twitter.com/jack/status/1408102135040970759?s=19
What is your thinking about this meeting? Is possible to grow up btc price after this meeting?
  Drope your point? Tnx

Is it moving up or moving down? These two directions are also mentioned by moving. Perhaps we need to learn more about the results of the meeting. I think there is no need to rush to minimize losses.

32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon tweet again that he is supporting Crypto against Fiat on: June 07, 2021, 07:50:31 PM
Here we go again after his tweet that contribute to the market dip he is at it again and now he is tweeting

Musk Tweets He Supports Crypto in Battle Against Fiat Currencies

Quote
The true battle is between fiat & crypto. On balance, I support the latter.
Do you think he is trying to rally the market after the dip and will this stop the continuous drop in the market.

But after he said that, is the crypto market getting better again? The crypto market continues to drop, maybe nothing will stop it. The Popes have already sold their assets. And for those of us who are stuck on high prices can only hope the prices will come back.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Are Airdrops and Bounties worth the work? on: June 07, 2021, 07:43:15 PM
I'm learning a lot here about how people here invest and that tells me a bit about the market in general.

I was wondering if Airdrops and Bounties worth the effort.
According to this article you need several wallets.
https://blogs.airdropalert.com/9-wallets-airdrops-bounties/
Then you have to find out about the drops, do somethings to get them (e.g. follow the coin on social media).  And there might be other steps I don't know about.

Coinbase is running a Dodgecoin sweepstakes.  You have to buy or sell $100. of Dodgecoin to enter.  That is sasy.

https://help.coinbase.com/en/coinbase/getting-started/other/coinbase-sweepstakes

I'm not sure if Airdrops and Bounties are worth the work.

Many have already made money through Bounty. Therefore the bounty is worth working on. Although not all bounty projects make money. But we should not make it our main job, because the income in the bounty is not necessarily sufficient for daily life.
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What goes up must come down on: June 07, 2021, 07:38:04 PM
There is too much leverage and too much potential profits in crypto space today which makes me feel like I'm reliving the 2017/2018 era once again, forget the big institutions investing money on crypto, those who bought at 4000$ per BTC are already millionaires/billionaires, you can't expect them not to take profit, be prepared

Indeed, many are billionaires today for those who buy Bitcoin at $4k. But what about those who bought Bitcoin today at $60k. Have they become beggars? One person gains through the process of another person's loss. Things like this will keep turning.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is best Altcoin to buy now on: June 07, 2021, 07:23:35 PM
Hello Guys how r you.can you give me some suggestion about which Altcoin is best to buy now ??
Give your opinion. Thanks

Many Altcoins are worth investing in today, and have potential for the future. These include BNB, ADA, Tron, Ethereum. And these are the coins you can hold, if the pump occurs, then all the coins will increase in price. For new coins, TWT, PROM, TKO and some others.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you recommend staking? on: June 06, 2021, 07:52:20 PM
I was looking at staking my ethereum. The interest rate seems good and I found BlockFi.com which seems to be around 10% (not guaranteed rate though). Is there a risk of losing coins and is staking recommended? For Ethereum, which site pays the highest APR and is the most reliable/safest?

Thanks!

I think you can stake on Binance. There it will be safer than the others. Binance is trusted, and used by many people. If at any time the price of Ethereum increases, you can Unstake, and sell it, without having to wait for confirmation from the platform.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest on alts suggestion on: June 06, 2021, 07:45:53 PM
I am plaaning to invest on alts 2024. For the moment i keep my usdt. I am thinking that these coins still at higher prices , they  will sure more 80-90% down.

How about your views?

Yes. I think it's the safest move. But you have to wait a long time. I think crypto is on the rise right now, and it takes a process. 80-90% is the biggest number. If you wait for Bitcoin to drop to $5k, maybe you can only buy Bitcoin in 2023. That's even if the Bitcoin dump is massive.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coinbase wallet vs Meta Mask wallet on: June 06, 2021, 07:35:07 PM
Coinbase wallet can connect to Coinbase.com.  But some website doesn't use Coinbase wallet.  Most websites use Meta Mask wallet.  Which one is better Coinbase wallet vs Meta Mask wallet?

Both are the best wallets. But it depends on the platform that works with the wallet. Indeed, most DeFi platforms use Metamask. However Metamask only supports Ethereum, while Coinbase supports multiple blockchains.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Altcoin Safe for Investment on: June 04, 2021, 03:39:03 PM
In now days too much Altcoin Project are Launching one by one and all of them claim that invest in his project because we will be successful in upcoming days but in the end they run away and make a scam. They don't woory about people fund and stole them.
So how we can trust on altcoin to give us profit after investment. Because most of them become Scam and Scam. All of them has one Aim how to stole too much fund .
So how we make altcoin investment safe ?

I rarely join projects outside of the exchange (projects that are not IEO), unless the project is managed by a trusted manager. Because I can't do 100% research for a project. But at least the manager did some research before carrying out their campaign. I think a trusted manager will not promote a scam project.
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Did you fall for the current dip and sell off on: June 04, 2021, 03:31:56 PM
Honestly wanted to ask and to discovered the newbies among us. i though of creating a vote but it is not Necessary.  i really wanted to ask if there are members of this community that sold off during the last dip thinking that the market has crashed. alot of friends kept complaining that bitcoin and alts will go deep down and it will take months before coming back.

Really wanted to find out people that lost their grip and sold off. what really was your main reason for NOT holding...

I think under these conditions we can only make short-term trades. This kind of trading will reduce the losses incurred. If you wait until Bitcoin and alt are at their peak, it will take a long time. Reduce your losses with short term trades.
