My favourite casino, just want to say I have been a quiet observer since the CSGO days. Glad the community is still around and strong.

2  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: PUNT.COM SCAMMED 60K$ // don't play PUNT.COM on: September 27, 2023, 05:22:50 PM
OP has had similar instances across dozens of other trusted casinos.

The situation is almost always identical, OP creates an account, deposits, hits a small jackpot, sees if he is able to withdraw, and if he is, he deposits more and hits a large jackpot. He then strong arms casino's into paying him without them doing their due diligence.

It is very obvious from my discussions with other Casino owners that OP has a rogue employee working for these smaller slot providers. Every site that is a victim of his scam is aware of what is happening but feel pressured to pay him out due to the threat of reputational damage.

I would recommend casino's to seriously reconsider the providers they allow on their platforms. I never see these issues with premium providers such as Pragmatic. This is a dirty secret that nobody in the casino world wants to talk about, and unfortunately it is happening a lot more than one imagine.

Never gamble with more than you're willing to lose.

Budgeting and taking breaks during stressful gambling sessions is the key to having fun and not harming your mental health in the long run
5  Economy / Gambling / Re: Punt Casino - New & Improved 🎰 1000+ Games, 6 BTC Welcome Bonus 🔥🃏⚽️ on: September 28, 2022, 08:16:21 PM
As many users have already mentioned it would be wise to re-brand your casino as a more established casino with the domain punt.com exists. As a marketing student it would greatly help your advertising campaigns on Bitcointalk if you had a distinct memorable name like Stake, Punt, Rollbit, etc rather than copying a brand name of another casino.

I'd recommend editing the OP to clarify you are not associated with Punt.com as there may be some confusion amongst seasoned bettors.
6  Economy / Gambling / Re: Punt.com 🦵💸 | Crypto's Finest Casino | 0% Commission PvP Dice Duels 🚀 🎰 🔥 on: August 27, 2022, 02:49:08 AM
Any chance you will do 0% commission on WAR next. I think the community would greatly appreciate it (myself included  Grin)

Also I noticed we cannot duel users with different currencies. I played in BTC but I see other users having XRP, can BTC user duel XRP user? Or does currency have to be the same. Cheers!

I honestly had a blast playing WAR on Punt the ability to essentially duel several users at the same in a savage winner takes all scenario adds so much needed excitement to gambling.
8  Economy / Gambling / Re: Punt.com 🦵💸 | Crypto's Finest Casino | 0% Commission PvP Dice Duels 🚀 🎰 🎲 🔥 on: August 24, 2022, 03:29:42 AM
I thoroughly enjoyed my time on Punt and will likely make it my preferred online casino moving ahead. It is very rare to see a brand new site that checks all the boxes a great domain, variety of games, generous odds, and an owner who seems to be in it for the long haul. It wouldn't surprise me if Punt.com is the #1 crypto gambling site by the end of the year by rate you're growing. Look forward to seeing you make a positive impact on this scene.

By the way could you elucidate what 0% commission means in regards to Dice Duels. Does 0% commission mean that the duel is essentially a coin flip since the site doesn't take a percentage of the pot/wager. If so, that is incredible and something that crypto gambling has needed for a long time now.

You definitely need to work over stake.gg user interface. I'm betting a lot and even I can't understand how easily to check odds and so on.

For me you are https://www.betmoose.com/ clone by idea, but for esports betting and with worst interface from them.

I agree the user interface can be improved, but in my opinion the odds are quite intuitive. The odds can be found directly above the betting UI.

I'm having a hard time with this site. whenever I place an order, it just remains open.. nothing seems to happen. maybe I'm doing something wrong..

Our site is an exchange, meaning your order must be fulfilled by another user.

The League of Legends world championships have started. We're hosting a giveaway in this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2187588.0 if you would like some free GG's.

1. On your site, I see credit cards symbols, which indicates that you are accepting them, right? Yet your only options for withdrawing money is Bitcoin and Skins?
2. Others said it already, there is no promo, no bonus, no incentive to try your platform. Think of some kind of additional motivation for new players. It would be cool.
3. You said that you support many games, so far I see only CS:GO and LoL - I am waiting for Dota2, StarCraft2 and maybe there is a chance you addr Smite and Paladins?

1. Implementing them as we speak, this was addressed in earlier posts. There is a lot of paper work that has to be done in order to process credit cards, paypal, etc in a site like ours.
2. There is a promotion - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2187588.0 it was simply removed from this thread as you cannot host promotions/giveaways in this forum. That being said, I truly believe our low fees (1%/5%) should be a huge incentive for users to try our site as other sites charge upwards of 15-20%.
3. Our API supports 12 eSports titles, but they're currently disabled as we don't want to stretch our already small user base thin. They will be enabled in the future.

This got me excited as I'm an Esports follower and a casual online player myself. Honestly, I really don't know how's the mechanics here or how it differs in Esports betting (I do bet in Esports on a regular basis). Just visited your website and at first, I can't load it right away. Maybe my connection has some problems in it or you can check it if you are having issues with your site. I also noticed that your site only state Mastercard/Visa as payment options. Is this true? You'll not accept BTC in the future?

Another thing that I noticed is that your site asks for first name and last name. I will use a different one in this case but what's the point of asking it if people will just use fake ones? It would be great if you could also remove the country as it will be just the same fake information that users will provide.

The site is loading fine for me at the moment, so I'm unsure about why it may not be loading for you. Secondly, we currently accept Bitcoin/CSGO Skins, with the intention of accepting Paypal, Credit Cards, etc in the future. Registering with fake information is fine as long as Bitcoin/CSGO skins remain your payment method.
15  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.GG | The World's First eSports Exchange on: September 20, 2017, 09:19:01 PM
Why do u claim it to be The World's First eSports Exchange? AFAIK, there are many others like SportsBet.io, NitrogenSports.eu etc. Or, am I missing something?

Stake is vastly different than those sites. We're an "exchange" in the truest sense.
16  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.GG | The World's First eSports Exchange on: September 20, 2017, 09:03:44 PM
As I received some free tokens to try out your site I did just that for a couple of days and figured I'd let everyone know about my experience:

1) It was a bit difficult getting starting and figuring out what everything meant, you have the same thing displayed in different ways and that adds some confusion.
2) I placed a bet on a couple of games only to realize someone else had to accept the bet which in return meant that when I thought I'd won, I hadn't since nobody had accepted my bet. A bit frustrating.
3) I can deposit using Creditcard I assume? I can only withdraw for skins or BTC though. Hopefully that'll change in the future?

So, ups and downs throughout my experience. I'll give this another guy and keep posting my bets as they might get taken by others as your userbase grows. I agree with others that some kind of promotion would be sufficient as you rely on a big userbase that are willing to bet against eachother.

Thanks!

Thank you for your feedback, greatly appreciate it. I'll try my best to respond to each of your concerns below.

1) Agreed, our platform can be more intuitive. We plan on improving this aspect of the site greatly in future iterations.
2) Our site is built as an exchange, so this problem is rather hard to "fix". However, with a large user base this problem should be lessened.
3) Yes, in the future we plan on implementing a multitude of different deposit/withdrawal methods.
17  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.GG | The World's First eSports Exchange on: September 20, 2017, 01:27:49 AM
Thanks, I appreciate it. The first thing I notice is that after pressing "Place Order," there was no confirmation message so that I knew it was correctly processed. I am currently using my laptop with about a 15 inch screen, so I would have to scroll down to see my open orders on the match. That being said, I made the same bet twice before scrolling down to check if I was missing something. Might be a good idea to add a confirmation message for clarity.

I will keep posting feedback as I go.

A notification on order creation is a good idea, thank you!

18  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.GG | The World's First eSports Exchange on: September 19, 2017, 07:21:56 AM
I just placed a bet but the market I am betting on is empty for now. If there is no one taking my bet will it be rejected? I gather your site is an exchange and not a sportsbook right?

Yes, your order has to be fulfilled, or it will remain pending, and cancel when the match is finished.
19  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.GG | The World's First eSports Exchange on: September 19, 2017, 06:21:30 AM
So let me get this straight you can sell your bet during the match?

that is very interesting

Yes, our platform is ostensibly a stock market.

Everyone has been credited with some balance, hope you enjoy the site!

It seems that the bitcoin deposits aren't working.

We raised the minimum deposit to $5, for the time being.
