I found a video on YouTube https://youtu.be/qTxPfxmkLIY that according to this man (Warren Buffett) said "Bitcoin doesn't meet the definition of a currency" and he said that "he would not be surprised if bitcoin is not around in 10 or 20 years". Is he a hater of bitcoin? while other big names appreciate the bitcoin. Your thoughts? Bitcoin is a currency and also a property of those who own it. I think many people are investing in Bitcoin just to get a bit of time and money. Long-term investment, this does not affect Bitcoin much, but these currencies need more supply, so I think it is necessary to invest in long-term. There is no relation between more supply and necessary to invest. So what are you trying yo say? And why do you need more supply of bitcoin? As we all know bitcoin has fix supply, its just 21 million of bitcoin so i dont think it can add more supply. |

Whether it be buying btc or buying equipment to mine btc. Did you ever borrow fiat to make your purchase? I have not. Just curious if anyone ever has.
I think buying bitcoin or mining has opportunity profit that activity but if borrow fiat to buy bitcoin or mining i think thats not good choice. I think we have to buy bitcoin with amount that we can afford. So i never borrow cash to buy bitcoin. I agree with you since if we borrow money, we can be in hard presure. The presure can make our decion is not good and sometime wrong after that we will be more greedy. So its the reason. |

As you all know, Philippines is a poor country, and they don't see Bitcoin as a form of payment, or a secure currency but as a form of Investment, I saw different Investment firms and also Financial Advisers/Firms uses Bitcoin as a form of Investment, they even said that they will teach the participants on how to generate profit from Bitcoin, which is currently impossible since they cannot even dictate what will be the price and how will they handle their investments when bitcoin is volatile. As for the percentage, I think 99% have heard Bitcoin since there is a Television program that reported the Scam relating to Bitcoin, as for the Knowledge and Idea, I think lower than 10% knows the technology behind Bitcoin and the Idea of Cryptocurrency.
It does not matter whether the country poor or not but the matter is they can accept new technology which will be great in the future or not? Are they smart or not? If they smart take the chance of crypto, then they will open their eyes to accept bitcoin. |

Hi guys nowadays most people still arguing which is the best centralized or decentralized? , well if we go back in traditional and old times centralized money is the best because we can handle it , we can keep it. but today bitcoin is very popular because its decentralized . and its very convenient . however many of us still afraid in this new type of money which is virtual because it might lose or somewhat but it still similar on cenralized money that might steal or lose. also many financial analyst still advicing about putting your money in bank ? like hell ! ? investing in decentralized much better than putting your money in bank 1% or 2% monthly ? fuck .. whats your thoughts?
Of course financial advisors still advice to put your money in a bank or in stocks or something like that, do you want to know why? The reason is simple if you didn't they will have to look for another job and they will not be able to earn a fortune by telling people common sense advice, if you invest in bitcoin or in other cryptocurrencies you can earn in a year what they earn in a lifetime. Sounds interesting when we know we can gain an income in one year that they only can gain it for lifetime working. Thats what people want from bitcoin so thats why many people interest and try to join bitcoin. Its include me. |

Back when Bitcoin started i feel people invested, because there believed in it, and wanted to see it change the world.
Now days i feel people only look at it as a way to make money, and don't really care about the future of it.

I don't like these type of news, they are the news that serving an unknown! purpose. But those are for sure on purpose, trying to change the actions on the market, that is not fair small movements of the 'whales' hurts newbies. Newbie is always a people who get hurt because of spreding FUD everywhere. I dont know this true news or not but i think this time so many bad news made by whale or people who want to take advantage. |

bitcoin is not too late for a biginner, there is no age limit in bitcoin, as long as you know what bitcoin is and as long as you know about bitcoin and as long as you are interested in bitcoin, bitcoin is open to you.

How possible could this be. I do not think google will follow suit with facebook or twitter to block ICO projects ad. This is the major platform used for advertisements by most of these projects. I feel this night be FUD and to cause another panic i the crypto space. Until i come across other sources, then i will believe and confirm it is true. Moreover, i have not seen any ad. blocked of recent.
I dont think this is FUD again because there is trusted source of the news above. This is really bad, such very credible company like google try to against cryptocurrency. So what will happen? I can not think again. |

Anyone having problems to do trading on their exchange ??. Since several days it's not possible to trade, they claim that is is due to the transition of STAR  can you pls. indicate if trading is working with you ?? They won't respond to emails so that's already bad signal. I dont trade in hitbtc for several weeks so i dont face that type of problem. Send email is usless for top exchange so avoid to send email to them because it will be no respond. |

Is it safe to keep your all crypto currency at a single exchange (bitfinnix)?Or one should choose multiple exchanges.
depending on how long you will hold your coins, if only for the short term does not matter you save it in the exchanger, but if for the long term this is very dangerous, because it could be exposed to the hack or close the sudden then your money will be lost, save your coin in the wallet that you hold its private key This is what i thought because saving longer time in exchange will be much more dangerous and suitable for long term holder. Exchange wallet is just for day trade or short term who can really easy to sell their coin at anytime. |

How did you lost that much money? Buying high and selling low because of panic? You would not lost your money if you did not sell it at lower price than when you bought. The key is keep being patient by holding your coins, if you want to do cut loss then you should do follow up to recover your lost. Doing cut loss only with no other actions = BIG LOSE. Cut lose can be done after some several research like the technical and fundamental.. If all analysis says that the price will further down then cutlose is allowed but if not strong hold is more suggested. |

Consider the fact that ether is still underpriced at $1,000 ($100B market cap).Ether should be well over that. Consider the fact that ether handles more transactions than all other blockchains combined! We are still in the early stages of crypto, Though the price of bitcoin will likely rise as well, but ether seems much more promising to become the crypto crown in the nearest future. Some conservative predictions have ether hitting a 1 trillion market cap by 2020.  But there is a question that always bother my mind, whether in future ethereum will always be the platform of choice from ico? Otherwise, maybe eth demand will go down, also make position and market cap down. What will make marketcap down if not bad news? If all running as normal then etherium would be the most demand in the market behind bitcoin. Choosing etherium rather bitcoin is not wrong decision since etherium price is more afford to buy. |
