It is true that Bayern Munich are in no intention to make an offer for Erling Haaland. Because they are already very comfortable about Lewandowski's high performance. It is another awful result that Galatasaray got against Sivasspor this time. Except Juventus, I'm pretty sure about the rest of the teams to advance. I'm keeping Juventus outside because maybe Sporting can surprise us. I know that Juventus have a better performance in the Champions League comparing to the Serie A. But Sporting are not a team to be underestimated as they defeated a strong team like Dortmund in their group matches. As Juventus have an inconsistent form in general, Sporting might have a chance.

The opening match tomorrow is Brentford - Manchester United. Because Manchester United are making an effort to recover, this is another important match for them. I should admit that I didn't like their performance against Norwich the last time. Maybe they won a 1-0 victory but their performance in defense especially was not very good. If they don't improve their effort in this match, Brentford might surprise them.

Max Verstappen became the World Champion after an insane last lap. However, FIA made a really big mistake after SC took the control due to Latifi's accident. They shouldn't have let only the lapped drivers between Hamilton and Verstappen go and catch up with them. SC should have waited until all the lapped cars do the same. And as a result, this race should have ended under SC's control. Maybe the champion wouldn't change from now on but Mercedes are doing the right thing by asserting themselves. I really wonder what the final decision will be as the first complain was rejected.

The most enjoyable match of yesterday was Chelsea vs Leeds in my opinion. We witnessed 5 goals in total and Chelsea got a very difficult win by 3-2. I expected Leeds to score one goal also but their second one was surprising for me. It was an equalizer that came in the 83rd minute (2-2) but Chelsea found a life-saving goal by Jorginho in the last minutes of the stoppage time and became victorious. It was an important win for them not to get away from Manchester City and Liverpool.

I suppose that one of the biggest games of last night was Miami Heat vs Chicago Bulls. As the game was going to be played in FTX Arena, Heat were one step ahead of Bulls. And the result was also in favour of Heat like 118-92. I was expecting a more competitive game though but Heat's impressive performance in the 1st and 4th quarters especially helped them win comfortably. Zach LaVine was the most scorer of the game (33 points) but it wasn't enough for Bulls to win.

The biggest teams of the league, Bayern Munich and Dortmund, both are the losing sides in their matches now. They both are losing by 1-0 and it is halftime. But it feels like they both will make a comeback from this disadvantageous situations and win their matches comfortably. Bochum and Mainz both are not that big teams. Maybe Mainz are a more quality team but it is Bayern Munich we are talking about. 

ESPN says that Rangnick has already some targets for Manchester United as their interim manager. They are the Leipzig player Amadou Haidara (23), the Dortmund player Jude Bellingham (18) and the Leeds player Kalvin Phillips (26). These are all talented players and young ones at the same time. These transfer would increase their power decently. But they should be focusing on a forward transfer also and especially on signing Erling Haaland.

It has been half an hour since the Fiorentina vs Salernitana match started. And it is still going on by 0-0. Obviously, Fiorentina are the much stronger club. He was on soft tyres and Hamilton was on soft ones also. But he was able to have only a lap time like 1:22.480 as his best one. Verstappen has captured the pole position easily but there is a problem when it comes to the race. He has no choice other than starting with soft tyres now. And Hamilton will be on medium ones if I'm not wrong. A really difficult race is waiting for Verstappen tomorrow. But I'm pretty sure that he will do whatever he can for the title.

I'm curious already about what Ralf Rangnick will do at Manchester United in the rest of the season. As far as I know, the deal is not official yet but there is not much time left for them to reach an agreement as it seems. Maybe he can do a decent job here also. This team need a good management immediately to collect themselves in a short time.
