501  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Crashes in History on: August 04, 2021, 10:03:49 PM
It's really interesting to see this. It's really like a pattern that we have witnessed so far. In 2024, the dip may be $300k according to this pattern.  Grin  But we don't even know whether the price will manage to go over that level by then. I always say that there is no pattern about Bitcoin. But as I continue to see this kind of things, even I started to think of the possibility.
502  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will you do if Bitcoin hits $1m in the future? on: August 04, 2021, 09:59:13 PM
If Bitcoin price really hits $1m some day in the future, I'd have a really great deal of money for sure. I don't know if I donate some of it to charities to be honest. That's a decision that I can make when this happens. But I would buy a nice house and car for me first. Then, I would continue to live happily.
503  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What hatred do people have for Bitcoin? on: August 04, 2021, 09:54:52 PM
I don't think that this kind of people have some back story to hate Bitcoin this much. This is mostly because being uncomfortable about a new type of money. This kind of people usually have investments into fiat and don't want them to become worthless. They are afraid that Bitcoin can grow too big and leave even fiat behind in the future.
504  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do most cryptocurrencies rise and fall together? on: August 04, 2021, 02:28:42 PM
I think that this is all about the dominance in the market. Whichever coin has the most dominance rate, it rules the market also. Bitcoin is the one now. It has a dominance rate which equals to 45.8%. The closest one to Bitcoin is Ethereum with 19.1%.

So, whenever the Bitcoin price decreases, it affects the other coins in the same way and vice versa. I don't think there is another factor that causes this to happen.
505  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buy Low, Sell High on: August 04, 2021, 02:24:16 PM
People who buy from the dip always win sooner or later. Bitcoin price skyrockets after entering a bull market and then there we have a huge profit. As long as Bitcoin doesn't die, this will always happen. People who buy like this will always make much more profit compared to the other type of investors. This is my way of thinking about this topic.
506  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How did you first hear about Bitcoin? on: August 04, 2021, 02:19:01 PM
I first heard about Bitcoin on the internet many many years ago. But I didn't take it seriously back then. After some time passed, a friend of mine gave me an advice to do a good research about Bitcoin and invest into it if I'd like. When I started getting to know more about Bitcoin, everything has started changing. Now, I admire Bitcoin and have a good investment into it.
507  Economy / Economics / Re: EU wants to ban crypto anonymous transactions and wallets on: August 04, 2021, 02:10:50 PM
The action that EU wants to take is actually against Bitcoin's structure. The anonymity is one of the most important features that Bitcoin users have. But on the other hand, there will be many people who will continue to launder money very easily if the governments don't want people to indicate which wallet belongs to whom. There is a big dilemma here.
508  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be careful what you choose to invest in now, not all coins will recover. on: August 03, 2021, 10:16:41 PM
In fact, we don't know about it for certain. I mean that maybe even all of the altcoins will recover sooner or later. But it's of course better to make our choices as wise as possible. Otherwise, we'd have to wait for a very very long time to make a good profit or we may not even make a profit. There are some very obvious altcoins to invest into for example. They will be rising for sure eventually.
509  Economy / Speculation / Re: Drop from $60k to $30k was part of bull run cycle? on: August 03, 2021, 10:12:03 PM
Maybe it was, maybe not. I don't really know. But in my opinion, it was not related to a bull run cycle. It was one of the usual dumps after a huge rise. It's always happened before. This is a part of this market, the volatility. And I don't think that this will ever change. I mean that these coins (except stable ones) will never change their main characteristics. We were in the bear market and now it started seeming like we've entered the bull market again.
510  Economy / Economics / Re: Is money the root of all evil as the poor to thinks? on: August 03, 2021, 10:06:19 PM
I think that it actually depends on the person. Because not every person who has a lot of money goes crazy and start doing bad things. Or not every person does everything for a big amount of money. But it's also true that a big amount of money have the power to be able to change even someone's character. So I think that it's really a complicated thing.
511  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The more popular Bitcoin is, the more valuable it is? on: August 03, 2021, 10:02:12 PM
Yes, the popularity of Bitcoin is an important factor for it to be much more valuable compared to before. Because the popularity among the people helps Bitcoin adoption go on even faster. And this makes Bitcoin an even more valuable cryptocurrency.

When it comes to the question about if it will be devalued in the future, I think that there is a possibility of course. There is no guarantee to survive even for Bitcoin. If people start decreasing their Bitcoin usage, it could even lead to the end of Bitcoin.
512  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: August 03, 2021, 05:58:59 PM
It looks like Barcelona are getting closer to sign Lionel Messi again day by day. They are creating funds to be able to meet his demands as soon as possible. Messi really wants to continue to play there. He even demanded much more than PSG and he caused them to step down. If Barcelona somehow aren't able to pay the money needed before the end of the transfer window, then maybe we can see Messi at a different team, who knows. I guess he wouldn't like to wait for the transfer window in the winter.
513  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 03, 2021, 05:51:20 PM
Leicester City, Leeds United and Everton are competing to sign Real Madrid's young right winger Marco Asensio (25). Asensio was actually a really promising player when he first came to Real Madrid. Real Madrid signed him for €3.9m. He has been playing there for 5 seasons. But he still couldn't prove himself. This may be a sign for him to leave and get a chance to prove himself and develop also.
514  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: August 03, 2021, 05:41:24 PM
So, Fabinho's the new one after Alexander-Arnold that has signed his contract extension with Liverpool. Next in line is Alisson with whom terms are already agreed and then there are Mane, Salah, Firmino and ultimately Henderson with which Liverpool wants to extend.

It will probably put a dent in our budget because the players receibe bonuses when extending their contracts but no matter what, we need to sign at least one (and preferrably 2) first team players if we want to compete with the rest of the top 4 that is spending like crazy.

The most important players for Liverpool to sign are Salah and Mane. They are the most crucial players of the team. They both have a big role on their victories and Salah was the one who carried his team in the last season. He got 22 goals and 5 assists in 37 league games. Salah was seeming like he was thinking of leaving the team some time ago but I guess he is not right now.

And Liverpool can't make do with only Firmino as a striker. They need a much better striker than him, a top striker. And I wonder whether they will make this important transfer.
515  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: August 03, 2021, 05:36:28 PM
There are still more than 2 weeks for the start of the new season. The clubs still have time to make transfers to strengthen their squad. And I've heard that Chelsea are still after Inter's top striker Romelu Lukaku. Because they see him as an alternative to Haaland if they fail on signing him. But Lukaku seems to be happy at Inter now. I don't see this transfer happening this summer.
516  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin bull market back on: August 02, 2021, 07:46:09 PM
The recent increase in the price made us start thinking of whether the bull market is back again or not. Because Bitcoin price climbed to even $42k recently. And still it has a potential to do better. In the coming days, we may witness Bitcoin price reaching at least $45k, I think. Then it could be even easier to reach at least $50k in a short time period.
517  Economy / Speculation / Re: TESLA will re-accept bitcoin & SpaceX owns BTC, said Elon Musk. Ready for pump ? on: August 02, 2021, 07:32:51 PM
The pump we have all been waiting for has been happening recently. But I don't know if it's related to these incidents. Because Bitcoin is not being affected by these kind of news very much anymore. The market is getting stronger every day and Bitcoin is also. I'm quite content about this rise in the market lately. And I hope to see it continuing for a long time.
518  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin investment on: August 02, 2021, 07:24:56 PM
It's always time to buy I believe. We are never late or early to do so. Because we don't know what will happen in the market in the near future. Bitcoin price can continue to rise or start going down again. We don't even know if we are in the bull market now. There has been a really good increase in the price so far. And I hope that it continues because I also have some investments into Bitcoin.  Grin
519  Economy / Economics / Re: Can cryptocurrencies replace fiat currencies on: August 02, 2021, 07:16:45 PM
I think that cryptocurrencies are not to replace fiat money. It's not their main goal. They are a great alternative way to use and invest into. And as they are volatile, it's really difficult to see them being the world currency or the main currency of a country. And I'm pretty sure that they will stay like this in the future also.
520  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: August 02, 2021, 07:12:18 PM
Pretty much I am excited for the opening match of the 1st Division Bundesliga on August 14, and the match will surely start with Monchengladbach VS Bayern, For me, Champion will still be champion, but if RB Leipzig can manipulate a strategy in winning first then I will consider, but well, I am for Bayern or Leipzig all the way again just like the last season I will surely keep this on track and right now there are 2 new teams on the list VfL Bochum and Furth.

Aug 14 Matches

Monchengladbach VS Bayern

Union Berlin VS Leverkusen

Augsburg VS Hoffenheim

Arminia VS SC Freiburg

Wolfsburg VS VfL Bochum

VfB Stuttgart VS Furth

It's going to be really delightful to see the duel between Bayern and Monchengladbach. Bayern are going to be playing away so this could be a handicap for them. But we don't know how Monchengladbach will start the season. If they have a poor performance, I guess that Bayern would win this easily and have a good start.
