Where can we see the proof of diversity code?

There is a link to our Github in the ANN.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Nyzo - Proof of Diversity | Fairly Distributed | Original Code on: December 04, 2018, 06:14:47 PM
Looks cool, gonna check it out.

So you only have to run a $7 a month AWS server full-time in order to receive coins? Nice

Yes. Using the specifications we have provided on our Github, you'll be paying around $7-$10 per month for one instance on AWS.

Is this the official thread?

There are a couple more floating around, but this is to be considered the official thread.

_______________

The Highly Efficient Blockchain for Everyday Spending
______________________________

Fast: 7-second block duration
Scalable: can support thousands of transactions per second
Sustainable: includes a plan for immunity technological obsolescence
Democratic: will be 100% community controlled within one year
Open-source: all-new, concise, readable code
Secure: blockchain is independently mathematically verifiable

Nyzo was developed from the ground up to explore blockchain technology in an approachable, accessible manner. The source is simple and easy to read. The design of the blockchain and mesh are also simple and clearly explained in the white paper. Instead of layering complex fixes on top of a flawed design or adding elaborate features, we focused on the foundational technology of the blockchain to build a system that just works.

Nyzo uses a collaborative verification system that requires neither proof of work nor proof of stake. There is no mining. Simply participating in the Mesh gives a Node the opportunity to verify transactions, and the queuing system is designed so that transaction fees are distributed equitably to all participants. Very little computational power is required of a node, and having superior computational power will not allow a node to gain a larger share of transaction fees.

It seems that mining for now is quite difficult for consumer level hardware. I have a gaming laptop with 16 GB of RAM on Windows and I am getting memory errors. Is this being addressed by the team?
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BITTUBE | NOW LIVE | NO PREMINE | NO ICO | FIRST MEDIA MINING PLAYER on: May 29, 2018, 03:10:12 AM
Could anyone please explain why BitTube still has not changed the name on Livecoin? Could this situation be affecting how businesses are doing in TUBE? The name is nice and easy to memorize, but things should be uniform! Either way, it's a great to get TUBE below 2250 sat! It's a real opportunity. When will TUBE halving happen? How many coins will we have approximately in December of that year, something like 100M maximum?

The team has tried repeatedly to get Livecoin to change their ticker, but they're quite stubborn about it. By the end of this year, we will be around 100 million TUBE circulating supply.

Two pools you linked do not have B2N listed. The other pools are rejecting my shares with traditional Cryptonight selected. What is going on? Are you sure you have listed the correct algo?

Why did you bother launching when you're clearly not ready? Scrypt algo with no pool but we can CPU mine, no community chatroom, and no whitepaper. Not looking good for an official launch.

    URGENT UPDATE REQUIRED

    As of 12AM 9-10-2014 GMT all previous versions can disconnect from Main Net due to changes in Transactions.
    The Time Vortex v.2 is built into this build but will not become available until 12AM 9-10-2014 GMT.
    You will also be unable to generate Time Vortex Addresses until such time.

    /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

    Changelog:

    • Qt Version 2.0 with TimeVortex V.2
    • Leveldb
    • Qt Version 2.1
    • Compatibility with Steganography App

    /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

    Update Procedure:

    • Step 1: Close running client
    • Step 2: Open Application Directory

      • Windows: %appdata%\sonicscrewdriver
      • Linux: ~/.SonicScrewdriver
      • MAC: /Users/<yourusernamehere>/Library/Application Support/SonicScrewdriver
    • Step 3: Move your wallet.dat file to a separate directory
      • Backing up but not removing wallet.dat can cause first sync with levelbd to take a long time if you have a lot of transactions
    • Step 4: Download New QT
    • Step 5: Remove Existing QT via uninstall or file removal depending on OS and Previous Installation Method
    • Step 6: Install New QT
    • Step 7: Wait for Wallet to Sync
      • This step can take a while depending on number of transactions in wallet.dat and if you moved the wallet.dat file as suggested in Step 3
    • Step 8: Close down QT
    • Step 9: Move wallet.dat backup back to Application data folder. See step 2 for default Folder locations
    • Step 10: Fire up QT again and verify balance is correct, if not open console and type 'clearwallettransactions' once that is finished type 'scanforalltxns'.
      This can take a while as all blocks are checked for transactions related to contents of wallet.dat

    Required files
    Sonic(see above) package extract to %userprofile%\sonicrelay
    f5.jar location should be %userprofile%\sonicrelay
    sonicrelay.exe(see above) location should be %userprofile%\sonicrelay

    Start with the QT shut down.

    Step 1. Create SonicScrewdriver.conf file in the %appdata%/SonicScrewdriver folder
       Contents must include:
       rpcuser=
       rpcpassword=
       rpcport=
       server=1
       daemon=1
       listen=1
       clientsecret=<same as sonicvortex>
       sonicsecret=<same as sonicvortex>
       sonicpin=<same as sonicvortex>

    rpcuser and rpcpassword allow for communication via the daemon. The rpcport just needs to be an unused port.

    Step 2. Create file named .sonicrelay and place in %userprofile% directory with contents
       daemon = <location of sonicd.exe>
       sender = <email used to send confirm email>
       username = <username for email>
       password = <password for email>
       server = <smtp server:port example (smtp.gmail.com:587)>
       confirm_address = <address to send confirmation to>
       success = Awesome Sauce
       fail = lolzors

    Guys... Anybody has an idea how long does livecoin process deposits/withdrawals for ipbc? It state on their deposit box that it needs 30 confirmations but mine is already 50+ but is still pending.

    Livecoin is not a exchange. This is a piece of shit.

    Until the coin is traded on normal exchanges, there are no prospects for this coin.
    the exchanger is primarily interested in the trouble-free operation of the deposit / withdrawal, they earn commissions from the transactions. And send your claims to the developers of govnokoyinov. large exchanges will not accept this coin, because it can not normally support the node on the server. because of such non-working coins, technical personnel do not have days off and they are forced to work 10-12 hours a day instead of improving functionality.

    TradeOgre has had ZERO issues with their integration of IPBC. Livecoin is either incompetent, or they are intentionally disabling the wallet to manipulate the price. This can work in their favor due to driving up the price to dump their accumulated IPBC fees onto the higher bids.

    So, my question is:
    How can I see the private key of a single coin address where I have funds in CryptoBridge?
    I think i read from somewhere that u hold the private keys only on the desktop version? Im not sure, havent download myself yet.

    Id be interested to read more about the token dividends if somebody has more stats and insight on that?

    I do have the desktop version, not found there neither ...

    Anyone?

    Your password is your private key that is assigned to your public key on the Bitshares blockchain. The individual addresses assigned to your account are part of the Bitshares gateway that you are using. By having your password, you also have the private key to all of the addresses assigned to you by the gateway.

    old and new driver is crimson blockchain
     any help to restore hash to 720 again??
    Note: eth hash is 30.5 dual mining and no problem found on it

    I use RX 580 4gb and after heavy i have also only 550hs.

    With an RX580, you should be getting a good bit more than 550 H/s. I have RX570s and I get 630 H/s per GPU. This is after I overclocked both core and memory.

    i dont know to overclocked core and memory... i am new in mining Smiley

    Read through all of the information on this website: https://mining.help/amd-electroneum-mining/
    It discusses the technical details of modifying your GPU. You'll need to play around with the numbers for overclocking as different specs work for different hardware. If you're new to mining, then this is a good resource for you.

    I have never seen a shitcoin this awful before. Not exaggerating, this is probably the worst buy in crypto history.

    Let's have some fun with this one. Here's some math.

    >Here's why the mining sucks and is worthless
    Block rewards = 500 per 30 seconds.
    Circulating supply = 10^15 coins
    Time to mine 1% of circulating supply with 100% of block rewards --> (10^13)/16.666667 coins per second = 6*10^11 seconds or about 19000 years. So good fucking luck with that.

    >Here's why the premine is infinitely worse than the mining
    Total supply = 10^70 coins
    Premine= .5% = 5 * 10^68 coins
    Circulating supply = 10^15 coins
    Premine/Circulating Supply = 5*10^53 times LARGER than the circulating supply
    Total atoms in the solar system ~ 10^56

    Which means that the entire circulating supply is roughly equivalent to a single atom in the entire solar system, and the premine is equivalent to all the other atoms in the solar system combined. Don't buy or mine this trash.

    First of all thanks for your reply.
    It's really fun when you give examples comparable to the scales of universe  Smiley
    Ok. Let's talk about it.
    Total supply, premine and circulating supply doesn't matter for several reasons:
    1) There are tons of currencies that use POS, DPOS and another concepts, that are totally "pre-mined" like ripple, stellar, eos, cardano, iota and much more. Why you don't troll them?)
    2) Even if 1 CRN costs 1 sat (10^-8 BTC), miners will bring revenue approximately at 150 USD/per day. Is it bad with the lowest price?
    3) We are interested in keeping lowest price per CRN to make transactions as low cost as possible and it is part of our concept.
    4) Total supply can be extrapolated to infinity and we don't see anything terrible related to this. It's not necessary to mine all coins. We need only projected inflation.

    Time will tell whether this is shitcoin or not Smiley
    When CRN applies to an exchange we will give a handful of CRNs Smiley

    Since you're active on the thread again, can you answer some of the questions users have posted about your project?
    16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] CRYPTON - new blockchain on: April 16, 2018, 01:25:34 PM

    I don´t know if this coin is meneable, i saw in the web site that is a POS coin, maybe will be sell in an ICO or airdrops or something, I will wait for more information about this project.

    Good luck.

    I know it is PoS, but they need a PoW phase before PoS if they plan to do it fairly.
    18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]★CryptoBridge★BCO★🔹Decentralized EXchange 📈RELEASED NOW BETA🔹 on: April 13, 2018, 01:40:23 PM
    There is a huge problem with staking BCO on Cryptobridge. Once the period is up it seems your BCO are stuck unless you pay like a 15%+ fee to get them out. I tested with 20 BCO ($35 worth) and the system is asking for 3.47 BCO ($6) to get them back!!!

    What is that!!!!!!

    Feels like a scam to me

    I actually like getting piles of sh*tcoins for my stake, but it said in the docs I'd get my stake back, but you dont you lost 17% of your coins in the process.

    Whats worse I've staked another $500 in longer term stakes and now I'm expecting to get ripped off by nearly $100. I cant find what to expect anywhere.

    When the period is over, if the coins arent reclaimed do they continue to stake??? I doubt it, but its not clear. Are the coinds dead unless I agree to be ripped by 15% to get them back.

    Frankly is stinks.

    Staking is a great idea but its totally ruined if its just going to rip me off. I beleive staking is to cut people in on the action not gouge them but I cant see that these charges are anything but a scam.

    Am I getting it wrong? I'd be happy if it isn't the way it seems because the ideas are great.

    So, in addition to having to pay the fee when staking BCO, we also have to pay some fee after the staking period is over to get the coins back?
    Did I understand correctly? If so, this whole system sounds really bad. After all, I wish to have around 10 % yearly ROI but since I invest only small amounts, I end up paying almost 10 % just to stake. I really hope this is not the case.

    I was really going to support this exchange but as they appear to hide charges like the 'withdraw' charges so I've gone totally cold on it. I've got bigger amounts staked because I did that before my first trial amount came up for renewal and I didn't know about the big hidden redemption charge which appears huge.

    Is it a fixed amount? Who knows.

    If its a fixed amount, I would need to stake thousands of dollars to make the percentage small, but nowhere says 'its fixed' or even mentions it. It might go up with amount staked or with market conditions like BTC transaction fees or because they 'say so.' You cant make an investment if you don't know what the outcome variable can be.

    You have to imagine the worse when there is no transparency.

    I could discuss with them on Telegram but that sucks, it should be on their site upfront and bold. If not its all kind of flaky/sketchy/scammy.

    Such a shame as the idea really rocks. If they hadnt screwed me I'd be looking to put serious BTC in stake with them, but not now.

    Most of the fees you are describing are for transactions on the Bitshares blockchain. This exchange is built on it and every action on the blockchain requires a fee. Withdrawing/Depositing require transaction fees demanded by Bitshares. However, withdrawals are also subject to fees for making sure the transaction is executed promptly by the specific coin's blockchain. Just as you wouldn't blame Bitcoin for requiring transaction fees, you should not blame Cryptobridge for complying with Bitshares requirement of transaction fees.

    I had high hopes for this exchange when it began. I have BCO staking. However, I can't even withdraw of trade anything on this exchange because I can't log in. It gives me invalid password with my password and even if I use my private key. My bitcoin is being held hostage and I can do nothing. Also there is incredibly backed up support. And when I try to upgrade it takes me to page not found. I feel like this exchange is already overwhelmed and I don't have much hope for it to scale up.

    Has anybody figured out how to overcome the invalid password or have I just lost my money on this? Someone said that I should have used the copy button instead of copy and paste, but that doesn't help me now.

    I just this second finished signing up, eldub; and although I have high hopes for this exchange, the password-confirmation part of the sign-up is very poor: it's a long time since I had to actually enter a password word by word.

    And it is made very very clear that if you lose your password, you have lost access to your funds.

    You can create a local wallet where you choose your desired login credentials. Before you create an account, click Advanced and you'll be given the option to create a local wallet. Be sure to back it up before you deposit funds to your account. If you join the Cryptobridge Discord server, you'll see a channel for videos with tutorials on how to do this. It gives tutorials on how to use different features of the exchange to make it easier for the average user, as well.
