1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Crypto be more valuable than gold? on: September 03, 2020, 07:47:08 PM
It can be more valuable in terms of the system and the integration of it, but in terms of economy, gold surely has much more potential and popularity than crypto because gold is widely accepted while the crypto isn't but in the near future if the crypto becomes accepted and all of the people began to know the potential and the advantage you will get when it comes to crypto it will surely becomes more valuable.
Being universal accepted and used is what every crypto dream to be and this is why gold is more valuable than crypto. Supply level is fixed or Transparent as OP said mean nothing when it isn't able to get the ultimate goal: universal accepted.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New exchange tokens worth investing on??? on: August 23, 2020, 11:29:32 PM
I'm sure you will have a better profit if you invest in normal crypto aka altcoin instead of playing safe by invest in exchange token. In my opinion, those exchanges don't have a lot of rooms to grow more, the same with their exchange tokens. While smaller exchange and their token could yield better profit but very risky unless you got an insider in those sites. If not, don't gamble.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best protfolio tracker on: August 23, 2020, 07:50:40 PM
I'm looking for a good portfolio tracker which supports most defi tokens and all major cryptocurrencies. Suggest one and reason why it is best suited for you.
I use a spare smart phone and make it as my main device for checking price or tracking my portfolio. Installed with a Delta app on it and I'm quite happy about the setup. I think I'm not alone and there are a lot guy make a setup like me with either smartphone or tablet.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reason hunters dump reward as soon as received. Trust Exchange etc on: August 23, 2020, 07:26:06 PM
in my experiences, they dumped it because of panic. i have joined some bounty in the past, some project give a big bonuses for investors. when they get listed on the market and start to trade, the bounty hunters still didn't get theirs reward yet. the team still hold it and let the investors sell it first. then, the investors sell their bonuses first and hold the rest of their coins or token that they've bought for later. when the price is little dumped, the reward was distributed to bounty hunters. they all panic. they think the price will get more dumped and sold it immediately after distribution. then, it just make it worst. the price is dumped really hard.
Interesting point of view. But I'm still wondering how a couple of hundred people with 1-2% of tokens can move the price?
No, of course for bounty, they can't cause a crash or trigger a dump with 1-2% come from the bounty. But for investors? Yes, the investors can if they able to get a hold of plenty of coins at the early stage through mining or private sale for funding.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe in crypto ratings? on: August 23, 2020, 02:13:20 PM
Let be honest, crypto ratings are outdated and weren't in its prime time anymore. When ICO and new projects pop up everywhere around 2017, yes we need some crypto ratings to remove low-tier project but today, crypto ratings weren't useful anymore so you don't need to care about them or different between each crypto rating agency.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to know if the project is fake? on: August 17, 2020, 01:28:05 PM
You are right. There are several ways to identify a fake project. However, I think. In a fake project, the team always uses fake locations and the team's name and address are all fake.Besides, the volume of their investment in the exchange is also fake. Most of their social media information is very enticing.
How can you tell if it's fake locations? Will you book your plane ticket and go to that country to check? Just check out the project team and product, I believe you will know whether they are legit or scam.
Well, you don't have to do that. There is plenty of detective service to check in a local location for people from abroad. But many projects don't have a headquarter location or they could list something vague and not in detail. I think there are many ways to identify the legitimacy of a project, team information also one of that.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Escrow is a must to avoid disappointment on: August 06, 2020, 05:54:21 PM
No matter who you are or how smart you are as a bounty hunter, there will come few times when you will choose or promote the wrong projects that won't earn you any penny, escrow can't fixed this, crap tokens will still come around

At least the escrow provides certainty to the hunters that the reward token has been held by the bounty manager. Regardless of whether the price fell when listing, I think it's a different matter. There are many campaigns that process payments to old hunters, even the projects die and in my opinion escrow provides comfort to hunters to promote the new project.
I participated in many campaigns use escrow, at the end of the campaign I still received those tokens. But they are never listed on exchanges, and I only get these useless tokens. What we need to hope for is their project to be successful and listed on exchanges
At least, you got the coin instead of some promise about 'we will distribute at xx time'. Escrow help to let bounty hunter receive payment, whatever it worthless, don't list on an exchange or has a low price aren't matter anymore. Had you try OTC trading with your coin yet? See, you did have many options for it as long you have it
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: if you want to invest in crypto... on: August 02, 2020, 06:41:47 PM
Checking their profile, their headquarters location, their past record of development,... All is just information that if they are pro in scamming, they could let you see what they think you would like. Don't be fool by all the information that can be easily pulled and check. That's my advice.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Waste to crypto? on: August 01, 2020, 05:49:47 PM
This is not a waste backed crypto token. This is a P2P decentralized electricity market token. You can also make electricity out of waste with Anaerobic Digestion. Waste is an unlimited renewable resource.
Sounds very interesting, what if that token will become junk in the future? because I saw a lot of tokens that were initially good then later they became junk so that they didn't have any value in the market, concepts and support were necessary, but real use cases and lots of interest in a token were far more important.

That is the risk assessment each one have to do by themselves. Don't listen to others, but EWT cuts off power plants as middle men and makes the energy market decentralized. This is a huge innovation towards decentralized electricity, which liberates the energy market to free competition.
But you should know there is money require to maintain a power plant facility, upkeep to for paying technical and such. If you want to cut off the middle men in power plants then who will operate the plant? If someone can operate and maintain a power plant, why should they share their control and ownership to someone else and not just, well, become the "middle men" and take all the profit for themselves?
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you still sleeping? on: July 31, 2020, 06:59:01 PM
Being on a different timeline with the US time zone or Euro time zone so I always wonder if I should switch my Asia time zone workflow to the other. Most of the fun thing, market booming happened when we are going to sleep. No one wants to be out when the market is booming, after all.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TRON 4.0: Boom or Bust? on: July 31, 2020, 06:55:10 PM
Busted, look at how ETH doing with marketing and development on ETH 2.0 and compare to TRON. For now, every "Ethereum Killers" need to pull out their textbook and note down everything ETH did with its plan for ETH 2.0. Copy it and they would be fine.
TRON doesn't get a lot of attention on this bullish trend. It doesn't even move from its position while another coins (included the competitors) have been getting a huge increase. it looks like tron 4.0 was nothing compared with eth 2.0
Exactly. ETH 2.0 boom really make me reconsider my TRON bag after the TRON 4.0 try to mimic ETH with its 2.0 but fell short with nothing interesting. Didn't catch public attention or improve the situation of TRON at all. Seeing ETH 2.0 put a lot more desire for TRON.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whats your fears in new cryptocurrency? on: July 30, 2020, 05:51:37 PM
Even with a great risk of losing everything when investing in cryptocurrencies, I would never back down since I know risk equal to return. Greater the risk, greater the return so if you want to reduce the fear of losing, choose and research project properly before making an investment.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What old coins are you still holding? on: July 23, 2020, 06:46:09 PM
I still holding one of the coins when you're a bounty manager for them: Altcom/SONO. Had it as a masternode but profit was super low below $1 and project was almost inactive. Too little to care about so I don't know if that could count as holding lol.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Day Trading or Long-term Hodl? on: July 19, 2020, 08:21:21 PM
When the market is good, day trading. When the market in bad shape, I have to become a long term holder and wait. Pretty sure a few day traders also sort of becoming long term holders since they make mistakes when brought in too high.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: IDEX Market Google Store SCAM ALERT on: July 18, 2020, 08:47:18 PM
Be careful of fake apps on Google store, google team claimed that they've uprooted all fake applications from their store but that's all those they can detect, I believe few are still on the store, it's always wiser to download apps that involve money through official source
Still bogged my mind how fake app like this pass the Google's publisher rule for the store. Has Google too lax on maintaining trusted apps to be available for download on their store?
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO increasing rapidly on: July 18, 2020, 08:28:18 PM
I remember ICO already decrease in momentum and nearly dead in 2019 but somehow, OP talk about it "increasing rapidly"? Thank god ICO doesn't popular anymore like it used to be and we have more options when investing like IEO and such.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What if cryptocurrency on: July 17, 2020, 04:23:33 PM
2017 was the year I made the most money in this market because any ICO project I participated in was very profitable and I saved a lot of money during that time. However, now that everything is different, making money is becoming harder and riskier, so in any investment, you need to consider carefully because there are many scam projects that can cause you to lose money.
Weird since I know a lot of traders back in that time and ICO is more of loss for them tho. Sure people always said about do research first before invest but ICO around that time is mostly scam so you're really lucky. I'm glad those days are long and market is a bit better than before.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The return of ICOs on: July 16, 2020, 01:20:55 PM
Are you sure the ICO is coming back? I have not seen any successful ICO projects this year, there are a few projects that are implementing ICOs but investors are not interested in it. Currently people only care about IEO and that is the only way to help fundraising projects succeed
Certainly, ICOs never return. It has long been dead for many investors to lose money investing in scam ICO projects, people are now only interested in leading altcoins in this market and the IEO is gradually losing strength its hype
No one would sane enough to back the old ICOs when IEOs work nicely and perfectly balance between project owner and buyer. I think OP just guessing as even half a years, I hadn't seen any project hold ICO.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LTC out of top 10 coins on: July 16, 2020, 10:39:48 AM
I predicted it to be six months, it's unfortunate that this thing happens to Litecoin they are sliding down, what once to be the biggest threat to Bitcoin is now sliding down to the 9th place, things and times are really changing, we really don't have a grasp on the structure of the Cryptocurrency market in the years ahead, so keep following the progress of the coin you are following.
I said LTC will shuffle out the top 10 in 1 year more or less. LTC, they're clearly slowing down with nothing new bring up the table to keep LTC relevant among its holders.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance Card Launches in Europe on: July 16, 2020, 10:36:25 AM
Kinda cool to see more real-life activity could be used with crypto, in this case, BNB token. Have to give Binance all the credit on really try to make crypto become mainstream to use as payment. This is EU, center of the world too so no doubt will soon spread out world wide.
