I agree it's a hoax as well,

We were created by a super being and to me is a fact, there is no big bang theory of any sort.
What is the connection between the big bang theory and evolution? Many of your religious friends agree with the Big Bang theory though they   said that it was designed by The Old Man.
2  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Evolution is a hoax on: April 07, 2019, 08:02:03 PM
no way monkey has evolved to human. if you know about DNA n you see it, you can see different by human and monkey
Almost all people who know DNA as biologists, botanists and more agree with evolution.

Now you are starting to sound like notbatman in his flat earth thread. Gravity is not a theory. It is a fact,
Cool

Evolution and gravity are scientific theorys (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scientific_theory) you are confusing it with the word hypothesis (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hypothesis)

To say that evolution and gravity are theories is to say that they are not known to exist factually.

Gravity exists. People use it all the time everyday.

Evolution doesn't exist that we know of.

Cool
Dude read before posting the definition of theory, learn first what is a theory, a law and a hypothesis.

5  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why I'm an atheist on: March 31, 2019, 12:09:31 PM
Science has put in our hands the evidence about how things are, things like evolution and the Big Bang aren't a debate in the scientific community because they are very strong scientific theorys. If something is unknown like what happen before the big bang or even why the big bang happen scientist make hypothesis (the therm people confound with theory) about those aspects but the answer is that we don't know and there is where semi-ignorant people come to claim that if science don't have the answer religion has it: "Science can't explain what happen before the Big Bang and how and why started and is because is design and trigger by God" wtf is that? I prefer no answer before some nonsense crap that can look like plausible to some people that are afraid of death or accept that we are at the same level then any others animals and there is nothing special about us.

I recommend to @darklus123 to read the books "A Brief History of Time" by professor Stephen Hawking  and "The God Delusion" by Richard Dawkins, the are a good read and can change peoples way to think or at least clarify many points and why science and religion even if many people say otherwise are not compatible.

And again I would love if some religion were true, like almost all people in the world sometimes I think is sad that only have this life to enjoy I would be please if the some afterlife history were true but they aren't because even if there is no way to really prove it is unlikely to be the only part of religions that are true when the rest has been proved to be a nonsense. The thing that made me rest in peace with that struggle  is the video of Optimistic Nihilism by Kurzgesagt – In a Nutshell (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MBRqu0YOH14)
PD: sorry if my english is a bit hard to understand, I like to keep it simple almost all the time because my gramma sucks.

6  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why I'm an atheist on: March 30, 2019, 11:32:38 AM
Atheism is the belief that nothing made everything. How can nothing make everything? What can nothing do? Nothing. You don't have to see God to believe in him. Who built the house? A builder? Who painted the painting? A painter? So the house and the painting didn't make themselves? All an atheist has to do is to look at creation and use some common sense. The atheist can also ask God to show him if he exists or not. God will answer him. Just ask him to prove whether he exists, and wait for an answer. Just say something like, "God, I don't know whether you exist or not. If you do exist, please let me know for sure."

Atheism is not believe in any deities or god, many budist can be considered atheist because they not believe in any god. And when Atheism proclaim that nothing made everything? Don't know a single person that think that, we only said that we don't know, if you said it because the Big Bang theory you are wrong because it only say that all matter in the universe was compressed in a single point billions of years ago and then expanded, no such nonsense like nothing made everything,
7  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why I'm an atheist on: March 29, 2019, 01:58:03 PM
If you don't know how something happened, an intellectually honest position is to say: "I don't know how it happened.", not to invent an answer.

That is why I love scientific method, someone said: Science is fallow evidence to an answer, faith is make evidence for a desire answer (something like that). If we can't have the answer for something right now is no problem for me, even if what we actually known change is not a problem either because I trust scientific method and known that it is the more closest thing near the truth.
8  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why I'm an atheist on: March 29, 2019, 04:25:00 AM
To whom did God give the Ten Commandments? Not to us. To the people of Ancient Israel. Ancient Israel no longer exists. They were destroyed 70 AD by the Romans.
Cool
So, the people of God are only the Ancient Israel people, if I remember right even in the new testament says that only the people of the 12 tribes of Israel are going to heaven and why are people who aren't from Israel fallowing a religion that doesn't mention people from other places? And how do you know that is only for them? Do he, she or it put a topic to the letter, e-mail, telegram or whatever like: "Only to people of Israel" or a PD like: "Until X of month Y and year Z".
How do you know that "Love God above all things, and your neighbor as yourself." is for us and not only to Ancient Israel people? Did he, she or it specify it?
And Romans destroyed the Ancient Israel? It seems like Yawe or whatever the name is, is not so powerful if he, she or it let them die.

Didn't you say that you read most of the Bible through? Did you forget most of what you read?

It's an extremely good thing that you are asking questions. But ask them from a standpoint of believing what God says, not trying to pick on Him because you think He is unfair.

Remember that I was picking on you for picking on CoinCube in the wrong way... without knowing what the Bible says... or do you know?

Just because the Word of God was given to the Jews or Hebrew people, doesn't necessarily mean that it doesn't apply to other people, as well. But if you don't know where the Bible talks about such application, or if it does, why aren't you into it to find out what it says? Because it tells you when the commandments are for you, and when they are not. You are alive, so find your position in life as it is written in the Bible.

Visit with a local Pastor of a local Bible church, and he will show you the parts of the Bible that apply to you and why.

Cool
I like you dude, I have read your answers in the Flat Earth nonsense post. I always respect how religious people only apply the goods parts of the Bible (letting aside the extremists that every group have). I don't believe in any god and in any supernatural thing, I wish something of that exist (for my point of view) because who don't want  eternal life, going to Olympus or whatever magical thing all religions told that happens when we die.
Thank for the words but the more I research about religions (trying do it for an objective point of view) more atheist I become. To much unanswered questions no only in the Bible, but in all other religious books.
I believe in science, more specific in the scientific method, the one that has give to us all we actually have now and give me all the answer that I want.

^^^ The evolution religion/philosophy
Cool

So the main argument that completely destroy almost all religions in the planet if the people is able to understand it and know what it represent is a religion??

^^^ The funny thing about it is, the evolutionists have billions of years backward. The fact is, the longer the time, the less chance for evolution to have happened. Why? Because those random happenings that destroy evolution become way more abundant with more time, just like the growing evolution would.

Cool

Dude, read what I said about how evolution work or search yourself about how evolution works. And again the random changes are preserved via reproduction if the animal survive and that is because the change is better for the adaptation to the environment and the whole process happens in millions of years, something similar are the atrocities that we humans do to dogs to create the "races", preserving only what we want via reproduction.
11  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Evolution is a hoax on: March 28, 2019, 07:40:48 PM
Evolution is no a thing, is not a property of livings things, is a process. And is very simple to understand, things evolve by natural selection, very random small mutations in a species, some goods, some bad, the good ones that are more suitable to adapt to the environment are the ones who are transmitted because the organisms have a small more chance to survive, the bad ones just are discarded because they bring issues to organism and have small chances to survive and transmit the bad mutation in the reproduction. All this plus millions of years and that is evolution, off course if you think that Earth have only like 6000 years and the whole universe is just made for us off course you can't believe in evolution. Personally I would like the christian version of the world that is shown in Supernatural (the TV show), where evolution occurred but guide by God, and he is a bisexual old man who like cats and doesn't care about the world, that sounds more credible than old school religions.

- Giveaway on: March 08, 2019, 01:01:35 AM

First of all this will be my last reply to this post, I don't have time to waste in something that has been proven millions of time before, you call people who belive that the earth is a sphere brainwashed, yeah! very funny cave man.

Convergence, perspective and refraction limits your field of view, you can't see the entire sky from any one point on the Earth's surface. Also atmosphereic refraction causes celestial objects to have an apprent position. You're debunking a strawman model.[/b][/glow]

Im sure you don't know what you talking about, and dont know how the experiment I propuse suffer from a strawman fallacy.

The object you're viewing in the sky could be anything from a high altitude aircraft to some kind of balloon riding the jetstream. I've seen telescopic video of an object with a blinking light that looks like a high altitude aircraft, the object was exactly where the iPhone ISS tracking app said the ISS would be.[/b][/glow]
You have seen a video? buT I have seen the ISS many times, with my own eyes passing over my city, and its not a airplane or something, i live in a 3rd world country and we don't have almost food for eat, and suppose my government spend money to fool people into belive that something is the ISS. For your info in my country we don't care of NASA or you are just a classic murica who think that America has the only space program in the world?? if the ISS were a US airplane of something we will shooting down for sure (or at least try it, lol).

Video and photographs of stars and plants taken by Nikon Coolpix P900/1000 owners all show twinkling lights that are not round at all. Again images of an object in the sky are not definitive proof NASA isn't just flying a kite up there to trick you.[/b][/glow]
I said textually "Buy a decent telescope" since when a  Nikon Coolpix P900/1000  its a telescope?? I think its a camera and I said planets, no stars.

The stars say nothing of surface below them, you're making assumptions about the lights in sky then trying to validate your globe model with those assumptions. If the stars are projections off of a curved mirror (firmament) then you'll get distortions like a change in rotation direction and 24 hour light in Antarctica (summertime) from the light wrapping around.[/b][/glow]
Said that the stars are projections off a curved mirror is valid is the same as saying that stars are Tinkerbell family sticky in black gome. The rotation is different in both hemispheres can be well explain with the spherical earth

No you don't have a different opinion, you've just been brainwashed and are regurgitating the shit you've been fed by TPTB like an absolute cuck.[/b][/glow]
You just ask for some experiment to prove yourself and don't know why you insult people when you and your flat folks are one of the most funny and creppy group that exist.

I think this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MBRqu0YOH14) has some points that can help to found our own meaning of life or at least is interesting
16  Other / Off-topic / Re: Flat Earth on: March 07, 2019, 03:49:49 AM
How as an individual can I know if the Earth is a sphere or a flat disc? What experiment can I do that doesn't involve trusting information from a 3rd party that would prove what the geometry really is?

You can prove  yourself  that the earth is a sphere with some facts:

-You can't see the star Polaris from the Southern hemisphere because is at a declination of a bit over 89 degrees,  if the earth was flat we should be able to see it anywhere.

-You can see the International Space Station and even predict where and when  will passover of your city doing by yourself the calculations using the spherical earth model or use a website like (https://www.heavens-above.com/PassSummary) I know this is 3rd party information but you will be able to see the ISS with your own eyes (I have done it many times).

-Buy a decent telescope, watch others planets and you will see how they are round, that is not a direct evidence but if you think like Flath Earth Society (https://twitter.com/FlatEarthOrg/status/935644892721762305), you can also with the telescope watch the ISS and see that is not a airplane, a ball, a missile, Chuck Norris or whatever as some people says.

-Which ever hemisphere you live, watch the sky in the night  and watch the direction of the rotation of the stars and call a friend of the opposite hemisphere and ask for the the direction there, you will see that they are opposite. I know is not just like that but that is the essence of the experiment

If anybody want to believe that the earth is flat its ok to have different opinions, personally I think that is a sphere or whatever is the name that scientist use

I am American and want intervention because I hate Trump and he was elected in a questionable manner.  Please liberate me.
He did not even win the popular vote, but if you are the president of the most powerful country in the world you can do whatever you want like call anyone you want a liar, shutdown the government because you want a stupid wall that not will bring anything useful at all, broke nuclear weapons pacts like we broke a deal for a candy with a boy, and nothings happens.
Now if you are the president of any other country and you don't kiss the boots of US you will be trick to look like you kill your people with hunger and corruption even if almost all presidents of the world have some corruption cases that have been prove at some point and they people are without many problems.

find someone who will let you download the chain over a fast connection, or copy a recent chain from a trusted source.
Hey, that is interesting! I didn't know that I can download the whole chain from another computer and just update it on my own, thanks for the info, but its not practical here because the average internet speed (1mbit/s) and the high prices. Also I doubt someone here has the blockchain, although I will love support the bitcoin network with my own node is impossible to me, the way I want to do it is to contribute to this community by learning anything I can and sharing it.
19  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Using crypto behind a proxy and with low bandwidth on: March 04, 2019, 03:56:56 PM
azkielt, I know you using faucets, so proxy/VPN may be a problem in that case, most faucet owners do not allow (ban users) who use such connection in order to prevent abuse.
Interesting, for now I have no problems with coinpot and I use the raw (proxified) connection with them and even I have received payments from them, and I using the others faucet that you suggest with the normal connection to (no problem either for now).
Thanks to everybody who answer to this post, now I'm using Electrum for Bitcoin (althougt I haven't tested with a transaction yet but I'm sure will work well seeing the positive feedback from this community) and Electrum-Ltc for litecoin with 2 succeed transactions and it works smooth
20  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Using crypto behind a proxy and with low bandwidth on: March 03, 2019, 08:09:15 PM
Thanks for all your advise guys but I think I don't explain correctly the question, I'm concern with the integrity of my wallet password or some kind of middle man attack or that kind of stuff  by the company who manege the proxy (although is manege by the only communication company in the country).
In concern with the internet speed its impossible upgrade it for my, it cost 30USD 30hours at 1mb/s, I think its the world most expensive Internet actually but that is not the point. I already downloaded and installed the Electrum wallet and its a charm with my speed connection (I need to use the VPN because only accepts SOCKS 4 and 5 proxy and mine is HTTP)
