601  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Does technical analysis work with crypto? on: February 17, 2018, 01:13:27 AM
I've been thinking about starting to learn how to read charts and do some technical analysis for myself. The problem is I see it ridiculed on pretty much every forum and people saying it's useless for crypto.

What are your thoughts? Worthwhile?

I rely on my experience and intuition only. These are two parts of my success. Technical analysis seems too difficult for me to operate with. If I need it I will try to start from analyzing the most popular currencies.
602  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Cardano a good investment? on: February 17, 2018, 01:00:58 AM
So recently I've been reading some posts, and many people seem to think that Cardano is a good investment.
Personally, it doesn't seem to be very unique nor has as much potential as other ones such as XLM and NEO.

What do you guys think?

I put my money in Cardano (its tokens ADA). I think it must be one more currency like NEO. It will show a sharp rise I suppose. I will sell coins when the price will be on the peak.
603  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Really? Next Bitcoin is Litecoin on: February 17, 2018, 12:42:51 AM
I have seen a lot of rumors out there they are saying next bitcoin is a Litecoin it possible?

What does it mean the second Bitcoin? As for me it is Ethereum the second most powerful cryptocurrency in the world. Litecoin is serious project too but it is not overcoming Ethereum. I buy ETH coins.
604  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY][ICO] Lucyd - World's first compact & comfortable AR smartglasses on: February 17, 2018, 12:38:33 AM
I started participating in signature campaign.
But I see that there are no stakes... Is it all ok?

And what mean "Last submission" (47 number in signature spreadsheet)

606  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your experience and learning in bitcoin? on: January 30, 2018, 08:56:45 PM
Ha - i didn't know that was the history of HODL. I'm still trying to learn how the blockchain and bitcoin operate. The biggest thing I've learned is the impact of blockchain ledger system and how it keeps a digital record of transactions. And how the transaction history can't be altered.

Right, this Forum is the best place to learn more about Bitcoin and blockchain and I am happy that we are all ready to share our knowledge with each other. Additionally, I am constantly following the news in crypto world (mass media and internet).
607  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best way to make money on the Internet on: January 30, 2018, 08:52:49 PM
Many ways to earn money online, but still no such legit company welcome directly. Have to explore to find genuine companies. At present trading coin is the best way in terms earn money though online.

I also think that trading is the best way to get good income. You need to spend much time to learn how to do it better, but the result will be awesome. It is a hard job, yes, as it needs much time and persistence, but the award is cool.
608  Economy / Speculation / Re: will bitcoin price continue to go down? on: January 30, 2018, 08:49:19 PM
I have already lost 1/4 of my investment in bitcoin. what can you suggest? should I continue n holding bitcoin or should I just sell it to cut my losses? I eagerly need your help on these one, specially to those people who has experience in trading.

Difficult to give an advice in this situation. If you are patient enough, and want to return your money, it will be better to wait. Bitcoin will go up, and it will be a very high jump. When will it happen? Not earlier than the Spring comes in my opinion.
609  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how to know if an ico is serious or not? on: January 30, 2018, 08:48:45 PM

610  Economy / Speculation / Re: Calling top at $16500 (NEW 17th Jan: $4,100 bottom called) on: January 30, 2018, 08:40:58 PM
Why would anyone use Bitcoin Cash over any of the other fast transaction coins? I just don't understand this.

It's Bitcoin.

Matilda can you explain to why you think Bitcoin Cash is so much better than BTC?
I am just trying to understand.

Agree with you. it will never happen. Suppose the bottom of Bitcoin was already reached and that was 9 thousand. The top cannot be foreseen.
611  Economy / Speculation / Re: DON'T PANIC. HOLD YOUR BITCOIN. on: January 30, 2018, 08:18:59 PM
Bitcoin is showing good and favourable price index. we can expect good results from it in the nearest months coming up.

I will agree with the author. I am not going to panic, and I will simply hold BTC that I have until the crypto gains really much.
612  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will 2017 gains ever happen again? on: January 30, 2018, 07:48:04 PM
I feel 2017 gains was a once in a lifetime opportunity and we won't see anything like it again.

January 2017

Many of the top 100 coins with a considerably small investment could have made you a millionaire today, and congrats to those who are.

$10000 in ETH at the time and you would never need to work again.

I just can't see these gains happening again, but anything can happen

Thank you, man, for reminding us these times. I am sure those guys who managed to buy alts for these rates and were rather patient to hold them for the whole year are now celebrating their victory. I do not think that crypto will fall. Believe in alts’ growth.
613  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Governments let Bitcoins and Crypto World survive? on: January 30, 2018, 07:47:32 PM
My question is, are these Governments even going to let Bitcoins and crypto survive?
They are cracking down on it by saying that it is illegal to trade things such as Bitcoins as it is a support to terrorism and money-laundering.
They are not understanding why it was created, but are coming up with baseless assumptions and even hurting people who are paying taxes too to these money-hungry people.
We are currently in the jeopardy of getting cryptocurrencies banned everywhere as if more and more countries join the list, the countries which are supporting it may also choose the same alternative.

They have to do it and admit that Bitcoin is not a threat. Somebody is talking about the connection of BTC and terrorism, drugs and weapon. It is not true. Why do they forget about dollars that are paid for all this stuff in 99%? Too many people support Bitcoin and governments cannot go against millions.
614  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin really secure on: January 30, 2018, 07:41:54 PM
I think it is not, many other people are here to hack. Like the wallets or users, sites, many other things, what do you think if the founder of bitcoin is a hacker? what would happen to us who are bitcoiner here?

I am also scared a bit by the information that regularly appears in web. I mean the article and news about people who hacked somebody’s wallets and stole Bitcoins. I use paper wallet for this reason.
615  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: when btc will go 10x in value does this mean my alts go too ? on: January 23, 2018, 11:32:41 AM
that is my question.

If you follow the cryptomarket news and regularly compare the rates of Bitcoin and altcoins, you will see that usually the situation when BTC falls and alts start to lose its price happen. However, the market of crypto is not predictable, thus, sometimes alts grow when BTC loses its positions.
616  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what is your plan? on: January 23, 2018, 11:28:58 AM
I think I would invest in some ICO coins like EZtoken or Arcblock, and buy some Ethereal for long term

My plan is to go on trading to earn more money and change the car for the better one. I used to mine before, but now I am planning to quit mining and pay more attention to investing into good cryptocurrencies that will bring profit: ETH and Qtum.
617  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin is best for small payments? on: January 23, 2018, 11:28:20 AM
Which altcoins are best for small payments in terms of transaction costs and speed?

You should better choose NEO. As I remember it will cost you nothing. Additionally you will get the fastest speed of transactions and great anonymity. I’d also recommend you to hold more NEO coins in your wallet: the alt will go up.
618  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin has defeated gold on: January 23, 2018, 11:21:38 AM
Don't count out gold just yet. Gold has been money for thousands of years and outlives every single currency humans ever produced. Gold will re-affirm itself when the next big crisis hits. It will be very interesting indeed to see what happens to Bitcoin too.

Bitcoin has surpassed the price of gold, but further it will be problematic to grow due to lack of scalability. I think its price will be more stable in the near future.
619  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Telegram ICO (TON) on: January 23, 2018, 11:20:10 AM
Encrypted messaging startup Telegram plans to launch its own blockchain platform and native cryptocurrency, powering payments on its chat app and beyond. According to multiple sources which have spoken to TechCrunch, the “Telegram Open Network” (TON) will be a new, ‘third generation’ blockchain with superior capabilities, after Bitcoin and, later, Ethereum paved the way.
The launch will be funded with an enormous Initial Coin Offering, with forthcoming private pre-sales ranging into the hundreds of millions, potentially making it one of the largest ICOs to date. Demand is driven by the fact that rather than the ICO coming from a fresh startup, Telegram is a well-established messaging platform used around the world.

Today everybody is discussing this topic. What is interesting is that Durov is not planning to deal with a lot of Russian investors. He said that he wants to create global ICO. As for me I am going to participate in this project.
620  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who sold their bitcoins? or HOLDing ? on: January 23, 2018, 11:11:40 AM
I will hold all my Bitcoin and my altcoins for a long time because we are not really mainstream now. We a slowly moving to be mainstream but I think it is still a long process. The Internet also needed a lot of year to be very successful like today.

I agree completely. I've been hodlin since 2014 and, as much as this seems a big step further in mainstream crypto adoption, we are still far from seeing this new way become fully part of our lives. I'm going to Hodl and see what happens, I'm a believer in crypto although not 100% sure Bitcoin itself is going to be the coin to 'rule them all'... Smiley

I sold some, when Bitcoin was over 16 thousand, but now I have been holding the rest crypto in my wallet. I believe Bitcoin will show its power close to the end of this year and grow over $25,000. Hope for a very good profit.
