Politicians are the ones that are directing how a community should be, to be organized and make the community to survive, but politicians are one of the most corrupt people on earth.

Everyone is a politician. But when we talk of influencing decisions and policies we talk of those who do that as elected political representatives or office holder. Not every politician is in position of authority to influence things. And if you talk of corruption, there are people who are not actively involved in politics but who are more corrupt than those you think are corrupt. People act differently and I do not like to make assumptions on things I do not have facts for. Am not denying that politicians are corrupt but what can we say of those who help them steal like the civil servants?
482  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto Casinos vs money laundering. on: October 16, 2022, 11:33:19 PM
But as long as the casino noticed the money is laundered, it would be seized.

What if the laundered cash is from someone the casino knows and is trying to cover. Do you think it will be seized? That will not happen. Or you think casinos do not hide criminals? Forget the AML and KYC thing that goes on that make us think everyone is documented, not so. There will be few exceptions of people who gamble at the casinos but do not pass through all that eventhough there is AML in their TOS. There is often a back door to every situation and those who know it will exploit it.

Studies show that only those with IQ scores in the bottom 20% of American General Population click on BADecker fake news links.

I do not know why he did that and I wasted my time clicking on both links, thinking they had something revealing to show to us, especially the video. It was just for click baits he did it. And I guess that crypto site he linked to is his.
484  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Split the prize or Reroll? on: October 16, 2022, 05:56:28 PM
I think the answer to those two questions which I asked above will determine if I will work out with the 0.05 bitcoin, or I will still try my luck. But since it's giveaway and I didn't invest any amount then I believe it will be better if i just work away with the 0.05 bitcon because it's a free money to me.

It is good and enough to ask those questions. The answers to those questions if I have to answer for OP will be no and no. Now you see why it will be better to work away in the first and not be too greedy? Succeeding the first time and getting a prize eventhough it is not the full amount should be taken as a miracle money. Miracle monies do not come twice.
485  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Chinese version of Metaverse will be great for meta casinos. on: October 16, 2022, 03:13:44 PM
Mainland China is strictly anti-gambling.... both online and offline wagering are illegal with both punishable by fines and imprisonment.  Roll Eyes  Macau on the other hand, is a special administrative region like Hong Kong, and the only place in China where casinos are legal.

So most of the Chinese people will not be allowed to gamble on that digital platform, with them being one of the strongest economies in the world. So the success of this Chinese Metaverse will be based on the willingness of western countries to migrate to that platform.  Roll Eyes

And if most Chinese are not going to be allowed on that site, it is senseless to think that the news will help boost gambling. Generally I see China as a country denying itself of everything that has to do with modern luxury. It does not like and support cryptocurrency also. China is a country whose citizens live in modern slavery.
486  Economy / Services / Re: [CFNP] Playbetr Signature Campaign | Hero/Legendary | $60/Week in BTC on: October 16, 2022, 11:24:49 AM

Playbetr have notified me that this campaign will be put on hold for the time being with all current participants moving over to the Betcoin campaign. Please find the Betcoin Signature/Avatar and we'll just pick it back up from where we left off in a painless manner.

It is in a painless manner indeed. Am sure this is the first time a campaign transitioned from one company to another, and with all hunters in the new campaign. I have not witnessed such before. This move even comes with an increase in weekly rate from $50 to $60. It is record breaking. The participants will be happy for all that. Well done Hhampuz. One day I will also be in your campaign.
487  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: That's why I really like bitcoin :) on: October 16, 2022, 11:03:53 AM
You don’t have to physically carry it around.

You do not also have to physically carry cash around to spend it too, the same way with bitcoin. I do not see anything special or of advantage there to bitcoinif you are going to use that as a point. Another thing is that we do not have to see bitcoin as banks. Both of them operate differently. Bitcoin operates 24hrs and none stop but banks have restrictions with when and how to operate, days off, and middlemen.
488  Economy / Reputation / Re: Announce your rank up, merit or any achievements that makes you feel great! on: October 16, 2022, 09:04:16 AM

Senior Member Got Me

Few days ago I finally made it to the next rank. It was a very very very long journey for me, I should not be celebrating it considering how long I have stayed without ranking up. And that is what the many 'very' is doing there. Some members easily rank up here while other like me find it not easy. But finally am here and I will keep improving. Am a work in progress. I want to thank everyone who contributed to this and made it a possibility. It is a collective achievement, not mine alone. I would not have posted about it but because I want to remember the period I ranked up and that is why am posting it. Thank you

_Blackstar, I took the font idea from you on your rank up post. Congrats on your legendary status, even though you are restricted by activities now. You have enough merit already for it.

491  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Split the prize or Reroll? on: October 15, 2022, 11:07:06 PM

It is a simple matter to decide in my judgement as I will want a split than roll again. We must know that gambling is a big risk of chance and may have a single winner after every 100 attempt. It is better to have half of a thing than none of it at all. Half loaf is better than none is the magic thought for me. What if I reroll and lose out completely, I will feel terribly bad about not accepting the half reward when it was offered.
492  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't invest Heavily ALT now on: October 15, 2022, 04:40:01 AM

Your advice is coming a bit late now. It should have been made from the start of this year because that was when the market started failing us. Am not taking about bitcoin but alts. Altcoins have done poorly this year and has disappointed alot of people. Anybody can say do not buy when the market is down and say buy when it is going up. But that is not how real investors look at it. They want to buy when the tokens are going down. But this year most investors are even scared of buying alts. They do not know when the fall will find a bottom. DCA that you mentioned has also wrecked alot of investors this year who bought thinking it was the bottom and it continued down and they kept buying until their capital is stuck and depleted.
493  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When is the best time to buy Old Coin? on: October 15, 2022, 04:10:31 AM
Dollar Cost Averaging and Do Your Own Research first about the project and this might be very useful. Only invest that you can affort to lose

It is good to do our own research before investing in anything because if we blindly follow what is in that your diagram we are going to get it wrong. There are quarters in the picture that tells us to buy alts and when to sell. But since this year there has never been a time that alts has become bullish. They all have been falling since the beginning of the year. It is discouraging the way alts have performed this year. For example, October is supposed to be the month to sell. But what can you sell when the tokens have lost over 50%? Some have lost 70, 80% and some have completely disappeared.
494  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ballon d'Or discussion and odds on: October 15, 2022, 03:28:08 AM
personally i would wish it to Robert Lewandowski very much ... he was so close to winning it the last two years and this year it should finally be that way

Me too I want him to win it. It is not for nothing that some fans nicknamed 'Lewangoalski.' He is no doubt a great player and goal scoring machine. Like what Welsh said, the event is more of popularity contest than competitiveness. I hope some not too familiar faces are recognised for their skills and not their faces at this year's event. It is good that those two who have dominated it for years will not be favourites. Messi and CR7 have done their part and it is time for them to take a back seat and allow hardworking youngsters come up. I hope Robert wins it.
495  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is Biden mentally OK? on: October 15, 2022, 02:48:38 AM
That's not just my opinion. You can ask Ukrainians and most of them will answer same that giving Crimea, Donbass and Luhansk to Russia to avoid war. isn't acceptable and such action can't be justified. After giving these regions to Russia you would have peace until Putin will decide to take another slice of Ukraine. What to do then. Give it again, until such country like Ukraine will cease to exist.
If Zelensky would agreed to ultimatum give in early stage of war, he would end worse than Yanukovych did.

I see your point but then it is all just assumption of what Putin could have done after the first concession. What if his intention was not to take more? My argument is about the lost of lives in the war and from your point it is not preventable knowing who Putin is and what he is up to. Let us hope this war is eventually brought to an end so that reconstruction and rehabilitation can begin. Both countries are now damaged psychologically.

Am sure under Trump, Russia would not have gone into war with Ukraine. Donald Trump would have prevented such happening
I'm not so positive about Trump like you. Maybe he wouldn't let war between Russia and Ukraine to happen, but cost of it probably would be recognizing Crimea and Donbass/Luhansk as part of Russia, what is not acceptable.

War is not an option to dialogue no matter what will be ceded as compromise during negotiations. Do you know how many lives have been lost in the ongoing war? And we are taking about 'recognizing Crimea and Donbass/Luhansk as part of Russia,' and you say that is not acceptable? You say this because you are not directly involved in the war or have not lost a loved one in the war. If you had, you would understand the pain in a war situation and known that the war could have been prevented. It is a senseless war.
498  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The effect of drugs abuse on youths on: October 13, 2022, 02:15:06 PM
Make every drug legal and only sellable at government licensed shops.

This idea will work better than any other suggested. Once it is made legal like cigarettes and alcohol, people will not hide to buy them and those who buy and use it will be common knowledge to those around them. Apart from generating direct tax for government, it will also enable parents and the neighborhood ability to monitor those who are into it and know when they are going off board in behaviour so they can be reported easily for appropriate action.

Burstposting will not be tolerated

The different arguments and points raised on this issue here is a bit confusing as it makes burstposting seem like shitposting in a way as quality and timing are discussed. Quality saves burst posting from shit posting and if the burst posts have quality they are not judged to be shit posts anymore? That is part of what I gathered. But it will be fine for the Yahoo62278 the manager to put a time gap between posts. That will make those who post in the campaign adjust their posting habit. Some managers in the past used to put timer like 30mins gap and I like that.

the internet is full of his nonsense. He was just lucky in one way because he was almost the only opponent to Trump. so it was chosen as less harmful.

I do not understand why Americans had to spite Donald Trump by choosing old Biden as their president. A Hillary Clinton presidency would have been better than Bidens. Trump was doing well for the US apart from his constant media appearances and tweets which the hierarchy felt it was not a president like quality. Trump was a charismatic president who helped Americans grow their economy and confidence. Am sure under Trump, Russia would not have gone into war with Ukraine. Donald Trump would have prevented such happening
