41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If an ICO team is anonymous, is it a scam? on: November 26, 2018, 09:33:14 AM
When deciphering between legit and scam ICO's, one of the main things everyone says is "you have a look at the team and see if they're transparent."

The thing is, the whole ideology behind decentralization is that it gives the public control over the economy's trajectory, rather than centralized and specific entities.

I see the Virternity Project, for example (https://virternity.com/), which prefers anonymity, but I'm not sure it means it's a scam ICO.

from their FAQ:

"Why aren't you revealing who is in your team?"

"The members of our team are enthusiastic about the idea of creating the Virternity space for the whole world. We want to avoid “buy-outs” of our specialists and co-workers, and also avoid pressure on them.

Also, given the limited financing at the initial stage, we are using anonymity as a shield for our technological secrets—the specifics of our current and future developments.

Many members of our team have serious jobs in major firms and do not want to advertise their participation in a non-commercial project, in order to avoid conflicts of interest.

In the future, once these factors are less of an issue, we plan to publicly name the founders and key personnel."

Satoshi remains anonymous..

Thoughts?

As far as I know, white paper and other documents speak best about the project, not the team. So if the team is anonymous, and the documents are excellent, then I will be happy to do this ICO
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How will bounties do without Bounty Hunters? on: November 25, 2018, 07:39:12 AM
I have read many posts condemning the impatience of bounty hunters who sell off rewards as soon as it is received.
My question is, can bounties run and achieve success on their own without Hunters?

I think that without bounty hunters everything would be several times more difficult. Now thanks to them we get a huge revenue and excellent advertising companies. And in any other scenario, it would be unprofitable
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: does ethereum end? on: November 25, 2018, 07:36:16 AM
I am fully confident that, over time, the crypto market will completely restore its previous positions. If you look at the current prices on the market, then almost all cryptocurrencies are now actively getting cheaper. But in fact, there are all prerequisites for the restoration of Ethereum prices from next year.
44  Other / Archival / Re: Future of crypto is good or bad? on: November 25, 2018, 07:33:13 AM
Crypto will be base for the future of digital world. Right now it may face not the best times, but I am sure that situation will change pretty soon.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency Risk in 2018 on: November 24, 2018, 07:21:33 AM
Many are really quickly disappointed in the market if they get to it in 2018, so do not be surprised. I hope that soon this stagnation will end and everything will be fine. No need to exaggerate
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you always invest in top ranked coins? on: November 24, 2018, 07:18:54 AM
I think there's a lot of promising coins not only in this range and it is not necessary to limit yourself in choice. I invested in a few of these coins and I managed to earn. It pleases
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum is Going to $50 based on what I Observed! on: November 24, 2018, 07:16:33 AM
Based on what I observed in the current market, Ethereum is the crypto in the market that is down 90% in his All-time High, based on my research this happened because of the ICO under Ethereum blockchain, all of this ICO dump their Ethereum to fund their project, and some of this ICO are Scam projects, let's say 90%, so what will happen to all the Eth they received from Investors? dump! after the dump this guys exit scam, my prediction is we can see a $50 Ethereum this year or maybe $20, but $20 is highly unlikely to happen.

Ethereum is one of the best cryptocurrencies in the whole market. Now I do not see any objective reason to think that he will be able to fall so sharply in value. Especially to such a low price tag
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Cryptocurrencies prices decline again, what much do we expect? on: November 23, 2018, 06:46:15 AM
For almost a week the crypto market has maintained a certain support level and ride in a range. Many thoght we where in the mist of a bull run until the last 24hours whend price declined further down.

Now what you think will happen next? Bull or Bear? I think we will see more bear trends till maybe in December when it could hold on a certain price to continue declining by January.

What do you think?

If prices do not decline and do not grow - it's bad.  a constant movement and frequent changes indicate that the cryptocurrency market continues to live and exist successfully. I don't see how you can't follow that connection.
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2018 ICO FAILED, NEXT INVESTMENT MOVE? on: November 23, 2018, 06:41:18 AM
There is no future for ICOs, especially now, when there is no regulations. Investors are too scared and we all can undestand the reason for the to behave so.
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can cryptocurrency replace fiat money? on: November 23, 2018, 06:38:41 AM

In future, can cryptocurrency replace fiat money? This seems to be most interesting phenomenon to discuss today.

https://blog.amon.tech/can-cryptocurrency-replace-fiat-money/

I am sure that sooner or later cryptocurrencies will completely surpass Fiat. But in order to get rid of this usual method of payment for goods and services should take a long time
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Help me to take decision. on: November 21, 2018, 06:26:23 AM
I missed out of the opportunity to buy siafund in 2015 and when I came across the farm gold I felt like the token is designed like SIAFUND but with a twist (Shark Tank for food). I checked their Blog and it says that FARM Gold is the new SIAFUND! What is your opinion? Is this a safe to invest?

The gap is too big. You need to find more info on why this project had changed and what is the point of making investment right now. No blind trust in our days.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When will end the hype of ICO ? on: November 21, 2018, 06:24:22 AM
Every day more and more ICO collect money, and then disappear. Do you think we need sanctions for ICO?

now ICO is really at its peak, but in any case ICO will go down sooner or later. it seems to me that the ICO will not last as long as we think now. I don't think they have more than a couple of years left.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I give up now? on: November 20, 2018, 06:53:48 AM
Now giving up means losing everything. I would never back down from the goal and would not stop working on this already favorite market as it gives great opportunities. Now we need to act
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How safe is it to put everything in one cryptocurrency? on: November 20, 2018, 06:51:10 AM
Personally, I usually invest money at the same time in at least five different reliable cryptocurrencies. This solution allows you to minimize the risks in my work, significantly increasing the chances of earning an income. I am sure that one of the main rules when working on the crypto market is that you do not need to invest money in just one project.
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Buying crypto with cash? on: November 20, 2018, 06:48:09 AM
Hi guys, I found a new project which try to resolve a problem of buying and selling a crypto with cash safely. Im thinking about investing in them. But would like to hear other people opinion about project.
What you think about them? https://www.cryptocasher.io

I am surprised that there are still such interesting projects. I like the fact that people are now looking to the future and finally looking for methods to introduce cryptocurrency in everyday life
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The survival of cryptocurrency on: November 19, 2018, 10:06:31 AM
Most of projects will die, because there is no demand for them and I hope that most of tokens will be cleared, especially the ones that are not used.
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have 12 Bitcoin. What should I do??? on: November 19, 2018, 10:03:55 AM
Based on the success and free time that I have, I have decided to research the top 200 altcoins and release at least one analysis of them a day. Will release the results in this group (first 500 to join will get access to the premium group) Link below...

https://t.me/CookieCrypto

I have 12 Bitcoins. I am not a whale. I started about 6 months ago with 0.01 Bitcoins and $1000. I turned it into 12 Bitcoins so far and am pretty proud to say the least.

My question is, what do I do now?

As far as I can see, I have 4 options;

1) Hold the Bitcoin

2) Invest in altcoins and leave a little in Bitcoin

3) Fund a project and start my own cryptocurrency that solves a problem that current currencies face (scalability, Tx fees etc.). With the funds, I would be able to assemble a team, start a marketing campaign, get listed on exchanges etc. I am also a programmer which helps.

4) Convert it to fiat (probably the dumbest idea)

Edit: I should also add, I dropped out of school and have all the time in the world so can fully commit to any idea. I will earn my living of cryptocurrencies.

A few people have asked how I made my money so, if you are interested, here is a short summary:

Initially, I put it all into Bitcoin during the massive FUD of the fork around June when Bitcoin dipped to $1,900. Then I put half my money into NEO before all of the hype at around $12 and cashed out at $40. Then I invested in a couple ICO's and turned a pretty good profit of off the hype. After that, I got back in on NEO as soon as China announced the regulations regarding ICO's and rode the wave back from around $20 to $40 (I can't quite remember). Then, I rode the hype of Ethereum Dark, eBitcoin and a few other airdrop scams. Finally, I got in on Wincoin before it got to coinmarketcap and turned a 20x profit.

ETH, EOS and XRP. All these options are relialbe enough, so I can stop worrying about that team behind the project may dissapear with all the money.
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is investing on ICOs still profitable? on: November 19, 2018, 10:01:05 AM
Hello everyone, I have seen many failed projects recently. I have received many emails regarding investing on ICOs, so is it still a good time to invest? I didn't made good with my earlier investments. Is there still a future for ERC-20 tokens?

ICO is cool. I think this is one of the best prospects. It seems to me that now there is no passive income that would be more promising than investing in ICO. For me it is a huge financial help
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Truth about altcoins on: November 18, 2018, 06:46:08 AM
Recently, I increasingly see assertions that altcoins today are useless. But in fact, I can’t agree with this statement at all. Today there are various reliable altcoins that bring real benefits for the digital society and investors.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 500$ investment on altcoin on: November 18, 2018, 06:43:35 AM
I want to invest 500$ on altcoin but I really confused on which coin I can invest and my investment will be long term. Please experts help me to choose altcoin to invest.

Divide the sum into several equal parts, find 10 projects and invest them. Wait for several years and get profit. It is very simple.
