1221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best Social Media for promoting an ICO ? on: October 11, 2017, 06:37:43 PM
This source is the new one https://icomagazine.com/category/ico/, but I believe it will be popular soon...

Website doesn't look to me professional, IMO anyway. Looks like someone threw there from a bridge some pics and articles and that's it.
Please define "will be popular soon".
1222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best Social Media for promoting an ICO ? on: October 10, 2017, 11:07:46 PM
I wouldn't call this forum social media, but there are 1 million plus crypto enthusiasts here.
So I'd say bitcointalk is the best platform for a crypto project.

Yeah you are right there, my bad, but still you could see as a promotion tool for ICO's.
1223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / What is the best Social Media for promoting an ICO ? on: October 10, 2017, 10:49:16 PM
Like the title says, i would like some feedback from the experts in this industry, so far i have gathered these 5 most important that seem to be used by everyone, can you add more ways?

1. Twitter
2. Reddit
3. This forum
4. Telegram
5. Slack (which i heard is full of scammers)
1224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: <<< Signature campaign and avatar >>> on: October 10, 2017, 08:36:14 PM
I think what his try to say is that we should try to send him some of the projects that we think is most suitable to be promoted.

One should not take advise in this industry from other people.
One should use his own brains to figure it out what suits him best.
One should know it's risky to trust others in this industry.
1225  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What were your experiences with Bitcoin when you first started? on: October 10, 2017, 08:23:44 PM
to be honest, i had  o idea what i had to do when i first tried to mine bitcoins, i remember downloading some app and installed it on my pc, and was looking how to start it and make it work, took me a while to figure out how to put it on a server and mine. was a noob then and i don't feel being far nowadays either Smiley
1226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: <<< Signature campaign and avatar >>> on: October 10, 2017, 01:52:17 AM
It's not very clear what you want, be more specific about what you are asking, give us more details...
1227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It's Time to Buy Alt Coin on: October 10, 2017, 01:30:34 AM
From what i see these are just speculations, everyone should do as he thinks suits him best, buy or sell, the time to buy alt coins is when you think its best.
1228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what happened to Ethereal? on: October 10, 2017, 01:10:50 AM
For almost three months there has been no significant price change with Ethereal, what exactly happened?

I am kinda confused do you mean Ethereum or what?
1229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to get fast rich in crypto world? on: October 09, 2017, 09:34:11 PM
Many that get rich fast will end up losing everything, especially people that were all their life hard workers and all of the sudden they win a lot of money. They do not know how to manage them and mostly spend them wrong. In crypto world you can be up today and hit the rock bottom tomorow... there are few that know how to control large amounts of money won over night.
1230  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin will survive after 100 year ? on: October 09, 2017, 01:25:24 AM
There are ATM's for bitcoins, they are everywhere implemented on the web to go shopping or just purchase a domain  or hosting, it is very trendy at this moment, i don't think anyone can predict for 100 years time but at least the upcoming future for sure is with bitcoins included Smiley
1231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it safe to participate in ICO's? on: October 06, 2017, 02:03:57 PM
I would say you could see for yourself if it is safe or not to participate in ICO's, by doing intense research on the ICO's you find more appealing to invest your hard earned cash. Read well the white paper and also try to find out more about the background of the team that is behind the ICO.
1232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to earn free coins?? on: October 06, 2017, 01:54:51 PM
Like many things in life, we all pay the price sooner or later, so i don't think there is such thing as free coins, nobody will go pm you and say: hello I have some coins for free just because you are a cool guy. In fact you need to do a lot of research and hard work to get a decent amount of coins, best way to get them is from bounties. good luck with that Smiley
1233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Building a rig, best GPU today? on: October 06, 2017, 01:43:20 PM
Avalon 7 is the latest Bitcoin miner supplied by Avalon in late 2016. It has lower price tags than most of the advanced miners but is also less powerful. It seems to be a good choice for people who are looking for a cheaper entry level miner. But you already have S9... i think so far it is the best out there.
1234  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I paid and I did not receive it and now? on: October 06, 2017, 01:14:16 PM
I made a purchase, I paid in bitcoin and the person did not give me the product.
Do you have any means to recover what was paid, since you do not want to deliver the product?
Bitcoin transactions cannot be reversed. However, if you would have used escrow services, transactions would be safe for both parties. Other than that there is no way to get your bitcoins back unless the person is willingly going to refund you.
1235  Other / Politics & Society / Re: do you believe in your government? on: October 06, 2017, 03:04:24 AM
do you think they told you the truth about the condition of your country?

I don't think there is any government in the world that would tell you the whole truth about the current situation of the country. All governments are lead by people, people tend to do mistakes and lie all the time Smiley so there is no reason for me to believe anyone could ever trust his country's government unless he is a 100 % fool or lived his whole life in a jungle.
1236  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 100 Ways To Earn Bitcoin ★★★★★ on: October 06, 2017, 02:55:40 AM
Build ATM network to be able to go physically and exchange money for bitcoins and vice-versa. Fees are applied for exchanging of course.
1237  Other / Off-topic / Re: What wallets do you use? on: October 06, 2017, 02:43:22 AM
The only one i have used so far is blockchain wallet but am looking forward to change it in the near future.
1238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HOW TO SPOT A WINNING ICO on: October 06, 2017, 01:54:22 AM
First and foremost, it is very useful to tell a scam from a legit ICO. Once you’ve decided take a closer look, consider taking the time to read the technical whitepaper to understand how it works (please don’t decide to invest only based on the pretty website or flashy buzzwords). The papers can sometimes be dense but the understanding of the details is very well worth it. Also, you may find it helpful to join the Slack group to ask questions and see what other peoples’ concerns are.

Having a white paper well written that covers all the details is very important, without that and ICO may fail before it even starts. I think that's the best way to spot a scam.
1239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DDoS attack on ICO teams on: October 06, 2017, 01:46:53 AM
I think refusing to pay is the only option to help other ICO teams.
If every will refuse to pay ransom, there will be no interest to threaten.
Yes you are right, your site is already back online without paying any cents to the attacker. It is quite costlier to conduct DDOS attack for more than few minutes, looks like attacker have given up.

It does not cost much to do a DDOS attack for a longer time period, it's just that attackers get bored if you don't reply to them and stop or they see that there is no way to get money out of it and they stop the attack. There are various tools online now that can make DDOS'ing very easy to many kids out there that want to make a living out of DDOS'ing.
1240  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are ICOs scam? on: October 06, 2017, 01:24:26 AM
I think the first best way to make an impression about an ICO if it is scam or not, is reading the white paper... if it is well written, with lots of details and the ICO goal is explained very clear in it. Try to do research on the Team members to see if they exist or if they were made up.
