It's good that the there's a thread like this, warning others so that they won't get scammed. It really helps specially on newbies like me who are just starting to know the crypto world.

exactly! this is the main purpose of this thread to help newbies or people who arent super duper expert investors!!!
but your welcome  Smiley

If anyone is silly enough to get scammed by (blah blah blah) ..

ELix is still questionable..I forgot what exactly happened, but it was another reason why i added it to the list.. (i THINK the dev dumped coins or something along those lines.. I DONT KNOW) either way  I still think its a sketchy project until proven otherwise. im not 100% sure. i removed it, because the dev responded to this thread to clear things up and admitted  the telegram chat was ran buy 12 year old idiots spamming meme's, (and the dev hired them to be moderators, that was a HUGE red flag).  since he claimed he hired more professional mods im going to lurk in there for a day to see how they handle things now. the community makes a big difference if a project will succeed in case you didn't know  Roll Eyes

"If anyone is silly enough to get scammed by an obvious, obvious pump and dump e-coin that was airdropped then they have themselves to blame. "
WOW, are you really that ignorant?Huh crypto is FAIRLY new to most people and there are NEW investors all the time!! they shouldnt have to be SCAMMED to learn the hard way, there should be NO SCAM coins avalible for them to invest... how is crpyto going to be attractive to new potential new investors if we have to give them warnings about 100's of scam coins not to invest??? i dont understand your logic..

Dude, eBTC and every other e-coin are utterly useless tokens made for a quick buck. Even rudimentary research will make this clear. There's a reason ebtc.io doesn't exist again...  and it's not because of server downtime.

Yet, proving my main point again lol.

Why do scam supporters always trying to turn the topic on ME, but yet cant answer any of my scam alligations with FACTS...
you can stalk me and all my posts, portfolio, whatever - thats still not gonna change the fact that e coins are SCAMS and they are still in circulation as we speak scamming innocent people!!!!

I was gonna leave it at the dev's response but this is just too adorable.

.

TIME WILL TELL IF YOU ARE RIGHT OR WRONG.

WHAT I KNOW IS THAT EBTC IS LEGIT, OTHER TOKEN ADDING "E" ARE COPYCATS COPYING EBTC. YOU WERE PART OF EBTC BEFORE YOU WERE ALSO KICKED OUT (YOU DID NOT LEAVE YOURSELF).

IN LESS THAN 3 DAYS NOW, WE WILL KNOW IF TO APPRECIATE YOU FOR YOUR WRITEUP OR SCREW YOU.

WHAT A LOAD OF CRAP!  how is eBTC legit when the dev adandoned the project  ONE WEEK after it was launched!! (the real reason i left this project)  "E" are copycat scams made by the SAME PERSON, im sorry your too slow to put the peices togethor!  No whitepaper, No vision, NO roadmap, NO NOTHING!! they just give all FALSE HOPES AND LIES.. Listen, this project is done, sell your coins (like i did at 80% loss)  because this project seriously has no hope, the "new dev team" does NOT exist.. its simply just admins from the old telegram group trying to make one last effort to pump this coin up so they can break even, like i said before. and time will tell, im right.. as i was 2 times before Smiley
again, take it how you wanna. I know from experience. Have a good day!!
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I changed my mind about eBTC *SCAM WARNING* on: October 28, 2017, 03:38:12 AM
Hi everyone. I would like to make this thread to advise the community the dangers of invested in eBTC.
I join the telegram channel and was very supportive, active and doing my best to help with progression of the coin. Unfortunately, I can no longer support and promote this coin. I sold all my coins today, at a HUGE loss, because of the community and lack of progression on this coin.
First of all im going to name all the negatives about this coin,

1.  It is a scam. The eBTC coin has a major flaw, There is a ERROR in coin's code that allows for unlimited coins to be generated. So if the price ever pumps up to high amount, the dev (statosi21) could create millions of coins, dump it into the market, thereby crashing the entire coin price, and then the dev could VANISH and be a MILLIONAIRE.

2. The group is very discriminatory towards female's. I have been targeted and harassed by members every since i joined the group. All i did was HELP newbies, while the mods complained of the same questions being asked! I told them that new people are joining the group and he needs to have patience and continued to answer nicely answers questions for people. I asked a question why the coin price was crashing and a day later, i was randomly banned without reason! Then the dev said he & the mods thought I was going to sell my coins, So he told me the decision was going to be upheld!   meanwhile, other men in the group were calling the coin a scam, and i defended the coin!

3. NO WHITE PAPER!  There are NO plans to release the whitepaper.. the dev simply just makes a coin with a cool looking name (eBTC) and claims it has etherum AND Bitcoin capabilities in one.  He then allowed a known ponzi coin moderator to become a moderator of his project! Beware of any groups with TROY, known on here as (802529er) . The price of this coin crashed %60 causing me to loose more then HALF of my initial investment of $1200!

I would like to give a final
🛑❗️ WARNING❗️ 🛑 about this coin.
SELL THIS PUMP AND DUMP COIN IMMEDIATELY!
YOU WILL BE BANNED WITHOUT WARNING IF YOU ARE ACTIVE IN THE COMMUNITY and if your a FEMALE or NEWBIE trying to learn more about this coin!
THIS COIN CRASHED 60% in 2 DAYS..
Mods are mad because this coin crashed so they will BAN you without reason! No matter how much you try to help the community..

🚫❌SCAM COIN❌🚫
❌Joke PUMP AND DUMP COIN❌
‼️SELL NOW do NOT invest ‼️
The DEV condones this sketchy activity as well!

DO NOT INVEST in this coin.. THis is your last warning.. Coordinated SCAM and if you have any concerns about this coin, your BANNED!

IT'S DEF A SCAM. I JUST FOUND OUT THE MERCHANTS WHO ACCEPTED EBTC ARE ACTUALLY FAKE MADE UP MERCHANTS. PEOPLE ARE GOING TO ACCUSE YOU OF SPREADING FUD AND BLA BLA BLA....IT'S REALLY CHEAP RIGHT NOW ANYWAYS. KEEP SPREADING THE TRUTH ABOUT TRASH.

Thank you! It makes me feel good helping other innocent people save money and dont be robbed!! Smiley

i guess you didnt look at the dates?? that was way before i made this thread like 14 days ago??..after all my bad experiences, i just recently put the peices togethor!! like i said before you can take it how you wanna take it, im just trying to educate people. i stand my ground.

I’d like to publicly respond to you posting this thread.

I recognize that your motivation in posting this thread stems from an incident about a month ago, when a moderator banned you from the Telegram chat and you said you were going to leave and create threads saying ELIX is a scam.

We’ve since improved the quality of our Telegram moderation. We’re not endorsing or supporting the action of that moderator—at the time, we were trying out different moderators and we’ve since settled on other moderators. The Telegram at the time was relatively chaotic and we had a hard time following each specific conversation.

Regardless of whether you should have been removed from the Telegram group, posting false information about a project that has shown clear development progress is unacceptable and a waste of your time.

We don’t have an association with those other projects you list.

I removed elix, thank you for your aknowledgement of the unprofessional telegram mods you hired..  they set off red flags for me because they gave a bad impression on the project, same as all the other scam projects like ETHD, eBTC ect.. nobody wants to join to see 100 memes or your admins harassing people who have legit questions..  im still not going to personally invest in elix, but i will remove it from the list just because you admit your faults instead of trying to make bs excuse covering up your actions.

Thanks for doing the right thing. Hope this hasn't been too damaging to the reputation of a reputable project, though...

If its a "reputable" project then this thread wont make a difference.. if its a SCAM project then yea, its going to shit..
actions speak louder then words.

WARNING, DO NOT INVEST IN eBTC. THE REAL DEV HAS PULLED AN EXIT SCAM AND ABANDONED THIS PROJECT AND LEFT EVERYONE WITH -500% LOSSES. THE ONLY PEOPLE LEFT ARE ADMINS OF THE TELEGRAM TRYING TO PULL ONE LAST MAJOR PUMP TO BREAK EVEN. MORE INFO AT https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2313634.0

Well lets see, the DEV abandoned the project, deleted the website, tried to sell his coins (and somehow failed LOL) , still has the ability to generate unlimited coins, deleted the twitter, stole almost 100k from investors who supported this project..

Hi Amber,

I've received airdrops for some of the coins you've mentioned. I remember you from the ETHD telegram chat.. how much money did you lose? maybe not an appropriate question.
Thank you for the heads up. Will keep away from the scammers and will drop the little coins that i might be left with from the ones on the list.

hi, i didnt lose any money with Etherum dark, i only missed out on the pump, and im glad i didnt hold my coins because ethd crashed more then 50% and the DEV abandon the project, which only leaves angry investors and admins with the last ditch effort to pump up the coin before it completly crashes to 1 sat.... anyways good luck with your investments Smiley
This really sucks for all the people who lost money but I'm more here to talk about your "scam" and should be "illegal" statements.

You can't make it illegal nor technically call it a scam. Is it morally wrong yes but you have to look at it like this. Are these "e" coins real cryptocurrencies.. yes they are.. they are no different than bitcoin and ethereum, they are still real cryptocurrencies.

Now the scam part.. as far as I'm aware these were not ICO's they were just coins created released to the market.. then Pumped then dumped.. this is not a scam does it suck yes but just isn't a scam. It is just the market, no different from lots of people buying shares in real world and then crashing later on because buzz dies off.

Most people know these coins are pump and dumps but don't care because they want to make money but then if they loose they come here complaining they have been scammed when in the first place new exactly what it was.

Now to the community, you all need to do your research if you want to start getting involved with random coins that have no purpose.. do your research and make your own choice. This is the cryptocurrency world.. very little regulation and also prices can change in a second.

In no way am I saying what these people do is okay I'm more just getting tired of people yelling scam all he time and "this should be illegal"

It defietnly is illegal, its called FRAUD.  Its bacially the same as buying a xbox from some guy on the street and when you open the box, its only a box of bricks..  The dev's made a BS excuse on the same projects, PROMISED whitepaper,  then dumped the coins to crash the price on the same day it was supposed to be released, and said they are "stepping down" or sold the project to a "new investor"
WHAT A LOAD OF CRAP!  this IS illegal and the govt needs to step in and regulate these "new coins" which are 90% scam coins.

It is no where close to being like the Xbox scenario you mentioned.

Well see his is a little different than what I was talking about because they did have plan and to go further with the coin in writing. But you still can't just mark it as fraud and I highly doubt you have a law agree.

Do you want to know why? You buying something that isn't real in the first place that is why. It can't be fraud because it is not real. It is not a real currency, not a physical product, not a type of software and the list goes on. It would need to fit under a fraud category but it can't because it won't fit in to any of those things.

You are placing you money and trust into websites that say what the plan is and offer for you to buy there mathematical computer algorithm (cryptocurrency). That is basicly the truth right there. The people are not bound to go through with what they say on the websites, but you all have so much trust in these people words they put on there and just start buying in.

For it all to be regulated they will have to start regulating every cryptocurrency including bitcoin and I get the feeling lots of people won't like that.

Im really not trying to hear none of that, screw all the "technicalities" , this is FRAUD what they are doing to people!!! its redicilious how someone would even attempt to defend these coin dev's actions.. which brings me to the conclusion that A. You were also frauded and now stuck holding bags and cant accept the fact you been scammed, B. You're a dev or associated with the project or C. You are in denial and you want people to keep investing into these scam E coins for quick money.

In no way am I defending these people. What they are doing is wrong and I've mentioned that in previous posts.

What I am doing I clearing up the statment is hear all the time of "how can they get away with this?" "This is illegal and should be charged" all I'm doing is telling you how they are getting away with it and why nothing is being done.

The "technicalities" are everything.

Also I have nothing to do with these coins, not dumb enough to put my money anywhere close to them. Your the one having rages and can't handle someone having an intellectual and real conversation about the whole situation. This is a discussion board isn't it?

you shouldn't be concerned about my statement.. if im not not the only person saying it, then obviously there is a very serious issue that is yet to be addressed.. SCAM COINS WILL RUIN CRYPTO CURRENCY.. that is a fact, if we dont put a stop to this pump & dump exit scam, crypto will never become mainstream because all your gonna hear is how half of the currencys are scam projects and not legit.. and banks or media will be very skeptical about choosing to adopt this new technology when half of the projects are scams... you can try to defend scam coins all you want, but it wont stop me from speaking out and saving people from investing..  im not raging im just very upset and hurt that these scam coins are getting out of control and ruining a great thing.. when i first started crypto 2 yrs ago it was never this bad.. now scammers are getting desperate for quick money so they do anything they can to betray investors and new investors by giving false hopes and running off with our bitcoins....

I think you are getting confused here.

1. I don't want you to stop posting about this, I fully understand and it does need to stop.

2. I've also been involved in the crypto world for a long time and agree is ftgis continues then cryptocurremcy will never be main stream which is an issue.

3. I'm not trying to defend scam coins, I don't like them, people loose money, there lives sometimes.. it is completely wrong.

4. Al I'm trying to do is talk about this on legal levels in the hope that one day they can start to regulate and create laws around cryptocurrencies and put a stop to all this.

I'm more just trying to help people be aware of how this is flying under the "law" and how they are getting away with it.

I'm all honesty thank you for letting people know about these scams and stopping new comers from getting scammed.

okay.. and your welcome.. no thanks needed.. im a real human being (unlike these savage demon dev's who scam any & everyone without regrets)
so im gonna do what i can to help people even if im attacked for it. i stand my ground

Yes, this coin was a scam and there was also a thread here saying that all the coins with letter E at the beginning like EDoge, EBTC and many more are all scam. They were all made by one person and I could say that this was all true because I'm one of the victim of these scam and it was so much annoying.

Dont worry babes, you and 1000's of other people also feel victim to this scam. I lost over $1000.. I learned from my mistakes, im glad i seen the true intentions of crooks in the crypto world, hopefully it never happens again!! i had to save for over 3 months for my investment. Now im starting all over again, but its ok! life learning lesson  Smiley

Except that eBTC is a real project, with a real team backing up behind it.

Oh really? Why did the DEV leave this "real project" after making it seem oh so good?
why did the actualy team members turn on each other saying something is fishy about this project?
you know what, you can belive what you want. when you see this project hit 0 sats in a few years, dont revive this thread saying "thank you you were right" becuase i already know im right!!
This thread answer all the questions in my mind. I've been one of the victim of this scam and it's really annoying. All the tokens I've got was all gone and then the EDoge was the only one left and I've got the idea that i'ts because it was the scamer's coin. I also found out that EDoge was very low in the market. I really can't move on about the tokens i've got and all gone, so guys this is a WARNING don't be a victim like me and thank you for the one who make this thread.

Im sorry they frauded you as well, its a shame that 1000s of more people are about to get ripped off whe ETG and LTG dumps, and  you will see similar things happen to those gold coins that happened to these e coin.. in other words, the dev are going to dump the hell out of the coins and crash the price once again.
Can I ask what the harm is in joining the airdrops? As long as you're not buying into the "scam". Not asking to incite any anger just simply asking of interest.

You can join the airdrop if you want, but i suggest you DUMP ASAP and do not promote the scam project.. even if it means you make more money, its not morally right. you make money while other real investors LOSE money and scammer devs close in like hawks making false promises just to get more investors.. then they randomly dump coins.. either all at once or little by little!
