61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] profit switching auto-exchanging pool - middlecoin.com on: July 26, 2013, 08:44:47 PM
Does not seem to be working properly.  I get no better profit than I do mining LTC.  Should theoretically be 20-30% more profitable
rough patches in the beginning.. seems to have smoothed out now.
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] profit switching auto-exchanging pool - middlecoin.com on: July 26, 2013, 01:07:00 AM
with over 368mh/s there seems to be a minimal amount of people even posting lol.
but yeah, even with high hash rigs, every gpu has its own work. lowering the difficulty to 256 would be good, even maybe to 128.
63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] profit switching auto-exchanging pool - middlecoin.com on: July 25, 2013, 06:26:09 AM
would be fine with me, as long as there is not more fees between that and once/twice a day Smiley

I'm not charging you guys BTC transaction fees, since it's my responsibility to mitigate those.
awesome Smiley the faster i can get my coins, the happier ill be.

also one of my miners with 4 5870's .5% rejects but super high GF(im in CO) :

oh, i see. thx for clearing that up.
as for payouts, are you ok on suggestions? mine would be two payouts a day, every 12 hours, expecially for higher-hash miners, as some of us i am guessing(me included) want to trade for a particular coin, like ltc, and theres always "best" times to do that. Smiley
otherwise, i am in this pool for the long run Wink

Do you want two payouts a day because you have a lot of hash power?

I was thinking this:

Whenever you reach 0.1 BTC, do a payout. Otherwise, as long as you reach 0.01, do a payout once a day.

Does that sound good? Is the 0.1 figure good?
not because i have a higher hash, only cause i am constantly checking my balance, lol.

only thing that is bothering me, is that there is constantly a large percent of holdings staying in the "Unexchanged Balance" and never seems to drop to 0.

It takes the exchanger a while to exchange some coins. The only way that would ever drop to zero is if everyone stops mining for a day. Maybe longer.

Fluctuates between 5 and 6.7
Cgminer reports a total of about 6,650khash.
My cards also get cold for a couple minutes at a time while the server was changing coins/not responding. Hopefully that is fixed.
Is anyone mining here seeing profits that are higher then just mining ltc?
/raises hand.
in the 67 hours ive mined, (saying the estimated unexchanged btc balance is correct) I made .77 btc, I would have only made  .62 BTC.
This is also including the down time that the operator has had, as well as balances that are yet to be counted.
very nice, especially if/once all the bugs are sorted.

What is your reported hash rate on the site and locally (separately)? Wanting to compare to mine...

It's back up. I had to change the IP address, due to lack of foresight. So if it hasn't propagated to you, it's 54.212.80.0.
had to manually update the pool addresses of all my miners. I hope you dont change the IP again Wink
anyway, I am in this pool for the long run. I personally dont think you need any more transparency. i think you are fine where you are in that sense, only some minor-updates would be nice cosmetically.
oh and for all those people getting lots of rejects, add the no-submit-stale true command to drastically reduce stales Wink
i am at a total of about 2% for all my miners.
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] profit switching auto-exchanging pool - middlecoin.com on: July 22, 2013, 09:49:48 PM
mines fine i got about 6.5, fluctuates from 5.9 to 6.7.
very nice pays the last 12 hours
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] profit switching auto-exchanging pool - middlecoin.com on: July 21, 2013, 07:03:07 PM
I seem to be making significantly less than when I was just mining LTC. You definitely need transparency here..
I'll stick with you for a bit longer to see how it goes .. also I'm pushing a constant 12 MHS at you but it constantly says 9.x - 10 on your site, is that an issue on your side or mine?
same.
if it doesnt get better im going back to straight ltc.
also would like more than a once-a-day payout.
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] profit switching auto-exchanging pool - middlecoin.com on: July 21, 2013, 06:33:51 AM
redirected my hashes.
would like to see:
what coin im mining at that time,
maybe an actual worker list with passwords, and idle worker notifications(i know, alot of work)
and finally, maybe direct exchange to LTC, which is what i would be converting the BTC to anyway.
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] profit switching auto-exchanging pool - middlecoin.com on: July 21, 2013, 12:39:56 AM
Hmm, i think i may throw all my 6.5mhash at this pool for a day to see how it goes.
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: solo LTC mining settings help on: July 20, 2013, 04:13:18 AM
Lookin to see if anyone knows the best solo LTC settings, ive been solo'ing for 13 days, and no block, got close yesterday with 52.9M/~59M diff, but no block.
i have 24 active connections, 6.5Mhash, scantime: 10 Queue:1 expiry:120.
I am gonna go a few more days, but with this kind of luck, I will surely be moving back to pool asap. Sad

Not worth it.  Use a pool.
i know. lol. if i dont find a block in a day or 2 im going back.

With 6.5Mh/s, you have an 85% chance of finding a block in 14 days.
yeah, thats why im still soloing lol. im already up in the 80%=/- area.

77  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: BAMT version 0.5 - Easy USB based mining Linux with farm wide management tools on: July 03, 2013, 04:56:33 AM
way too long of a thread, lol, but got a couple questions:

1. Is there any way to do a hard *restart*? whenever i do a reboot from bamt, it doesnt actually completely restart the miner, only logs out, then logs back in, so if one of the GPUs freezes for some reason, and i try a restart, it will just go back into BAMT like it was when i first installed it and wont do anything unless i go and actually jump the RST pins on the mobo. Then everything returns to normal.

2. I have 3 miners with BAMT, is there an easy way to monitor them all from another PC on the same network? like a MGPUMON Windows tool? what about from outside the network? my miners are at my warehouse and i want to be able to monitor them from home without having to use teamviewer to remote control a pc on the same network then type in the 192.168.*.* number from that PC.

Thx for the help Smiley
BTW im mining LTC if that matters Wink
