There will definetly come a day when you wont need to. Just this summer over a quarter million stores in Japan began accepting bitcoin.
I can guarantee with that many stores, all your necessities would be covered. Now the issue is, its hard giving up bitcoin for goods in the respect that bitcoin is a commodity with an ever increasing value. It would be interesting to see what happens if a society only uses a currency that increases rather than decreases in value.
It seems that it may stifle purchasing.

The best times are gone, but only a small sliver of the world currently uses crypto. So in that respect, it is still relatively early....

Besides having a bounty campaign and a signature campaign, what are other forms of promotion for an ICO that is essential to its success?

Of course a good underlying product is important and a white paper that explains it but as far as marketing vehicles is concerned - are there any other avenues worth exploring?

No not at all..  I just was trying to get a hold of them for their services, but unfortunately they never respond..

My guess is that they are super swamped.

I know ICOs have been popping up left and right and many of the good campaign managers are very busy.

Who can you guys recommend as a reputable campaign manager that can do signature and bounty campaigns.

We are a development company that will launch several ICOs in the next few weeks.

The other alternate option we will seek to do is to run the campaigns and do the awards ourselves, although it seems like a lot of work.

Rather go with a pro.

The Chinese bans everything they consider to be a threat... So most likely it will get banned.

How effective are bounty campaigns?

In the U.S., you have to register tokens as a security if it fails the Howie test or get an exemption

The way the OP describes it will one day become a standard. unfortunately the U.S. makes a poor testing ground right now because of the SEC.

There are ways to do it legally in the U.S. but you need to file a bunch of paperwork.

Major bloodbath.. However this is temporary....   It will bounce back.  Even if the China thing was not announced..There has been such a run up in prices this year that it is expected/ Things cant keep going up in a straight line

Meanwhile they got their patent denied 175 times for a bitcoin alternative they created while also teaming up with Ethereum...
