The miners who auto switch must point to that specific pool because it has since gone down to well under 50%.

We need some more news etc to get some buzz going and get the hash rate climbing more.

Not like you aren't busy coding more important things for the coin, but is there any ETA on an official website Kimoto?
362  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] [MEC] Megacoin has arrived. Scrypt & Core 0.8.2+ Updates: Chinese Market on: June 18, 2013, 01:20:11 PM
The need is there at different periods of time. This coin like other alts is very new and is suffering from the issue of miners using automatic switching based on coin profitability.

The second it hits the profitability websites it doubles or triples in hash rate and certain pools become overloaded.

In time when the coin rises in price it will become more profitable to mine and hopefully generate a more steady hash rate.

http://megacoin.miningpool.co/

'Network Hashrate: 163.71 MH/s     Pool Hashrate: 117.18 MH/s'

Are these correct values? If so that is over 71% of total hash rate...

With all the talk about 51% attacks on alts going around today, a good question to ask is how secure is MEC to 51% attacks?

+1,000,000 mr_random, thank you for supporting the truth.

Koolio you banned me for a very long time yesterday for voicing the truth against you. You blatantly lie to BTC-e customers in order to gain personally. I know we all have a reason for being in crypto and would like to make some money but there are right ways, and wrong ways of doing business. When you are being moderator you need to do that, and only that. If you want to trade and lie to other traders about what to buy, do it under an alt. If this was any other regulated trading market you would be sitting in jail for what you have done and currently still do.

You have also banned countless other people for standing up against you and your actions.

The crypto community as a whole is in a stage where it can either become publicly adopted or stay stagnant and eventually die off. People like you who abuse your mod power, fame , etc to hurt other people in the crypto community are just plain bad.

I would never trust my money with you, ever.

PS Koolio, I have never been duped by you or had any bad trades as a result of your spam. My concern is for OTHERS not myself. Surprising huh?

Can you give the raised feel to the purple M ? I feel like it might love have that embossed Iridium feel to it.
Love the spun silver look. Would be fun to see a slogan on the rim of the coin. Like not a copy paste coin or maybe Dr. Approved lol.
oh how about, Port 9338 'Just to F**K with litecoin! on the reverse side Wink. Maybe Dr Kimoto has a slogan already picked out?

Haven't had much time but here is are some different ones:

370  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 51% attack on all altcoins since Feathercoin happening. on: June 17, 2013, 03:45:54 PM
Are you going to hit feathercoin for a 5th time? Maybe people will stop buying it and giving money to the FTC mafia.

I'll work on a logo tonight or tomorrow and submit it here and on the other thread.
For me?

You and the main logo contest. I have some awesome templates I made previously that I can modify. Extremely high quality 20+ inch files that can be used on anything from pens to billboards. They take a long time to render but it is worth the effort.

I think an awesome website and logo go a long ways with drawing attention and giving a product a personal voice and sense of professionalism. Identity is very important.
Any news on that logo?

Just got back home finally. Was out for father's day. I will get to work on it now and see what I can come up with.
Thanks again I'll be up for a little bit

Here are two basic ones I came up with. I will be working on some ideas tomorrow and let you know what I come up with.

Koolio is not a mod here, and cannot delete your posts, I on the other hand can. Lets just make this clear everyone, please keep your BTC-E Dramas on BTC-E. If Koolio banned you on BTC-E, that does not give you the right to spam his threads here. Bitcointalk is not affiliated with BTC-E, and the fact that BTC-E picks its chat moderators from its userbase is not our or anyone else's concern. If you have a problem with Koolio for his moderating on BTC-E, like I said, keep it on BTC-E.

I think the above quote from clarifies BitcoinTalk's position on crap that happens at BTC-e.

~BCX~

When users are banned from BTC-E for extensive periods of time where do they go to communicate?

That thought process does not make sense.

This forum and that website are complementary products which work cohesively and positively complement each other....
374  Other / Off-topic / Re: petiton to ban koolio on: June 17, 2013, 03:53:38 AM
what does his behavior on btc-e has with this site?

Nothing other than I am banned for s very long time from btce and this website has the largest amount of users to that website outside the website itself.

A lot of new Cryptos also come here for info and it would be beneficial to avoid getting scammed if possible.

If your distraught with customer service issues elsewhere you can always come give cryptsy.com a try.

Already on there!

Last straw with olde BTC-E
376  Other / Off-topic / Re: petiton to ban koolio on: June 17, 2013, 03:29:55 AM

Looser? Are you part of the old FTC mafia as well?

How am I a loser for trying to prevent others from being lied to and preventing new cryptos from losing their shirt. If crypto turns into a community of manipulation and lies it will fail to ever be adopted publicly. If this was any regulated market you would be rotting in jail.
Yes pal, you are just a QQ'ing looser because you copped a ban. Seen it all before many times.

You might want to learn the BTC-e chat rules:

Quote
Chat Rules For Users:

The administration is always right. No action by the administration is subject for contestation!
1. Obscene words in any type (swearing, hidden and veiled swearing) are prohibited in our chat*
2. Abusing other users is prohibited*.
3. Pronouncements that incite ethnic hatred, advocating violence in any form, insulting religious feelings of other users are not allowed.
4. Flooding (flood is the posting of similar information, same repeating phrase or identical graphic files), flaming and spamming are prohibited.
5. Obscene words (both in obvious and veiled forms) in a user’s nick are not allowed.
6. Distribution of maleficent links, links to third party online projects and advertising links is prohibited.
7. Abusing statements addressed to the administration, moderators, hard-hitting pronouncements about the chat are prohibited.
8. Discussing moderators’ actions is inadmissible. If you believe you have been treated unfairly, write to the administrator, he will take care of that.
9. Users must not beg for the moderator status or any other status from the administration.
10. Writing only capitals is prohibited.
11. If you respond to abuses by abusing, you are treated as the one violating the rules, and a relevant punishment will be applied to you.

Didn't abuse anyone.

Submitted abuse ticket to them.

Standing up against mod abuse is not on there, sorry.

Koolio is no different than any of the rest of us looking to make a buck, but he should probably save his pumps for FTC and LTC for separate accounts.

I have nothing at all against him, and agree that he should be making money like the rest of us, but don't use a mod account to pump, an alternate ego / identity should be used for that.

Exactly my point. Any business would remove him immediately for lying to their customers. If he wants to trade that is fine but do it under an alt that is not related to btc-e
378  Other / Off-topic / Re: petiton to ban koolio on: June 17, 2013, 03:17:01 AM
The troll got banned by koolio a little while ago after insulting koolio multiple times, and breaking at least two chatbox rules, and now he starts a QQ thread here.

Pathetic.

Insulting him? You mean exposing His abuse of power? Btc-e is a business and does not need people abusing their system for personal gain. I did nothing wrong.
Your a looser pal, get over it.

Koolio for weeks bashed FTC and told people to buy his over-priced LTC. Koolio is now on the FTC team and promoting it. Blatant lies for personal gain are an abuse of power and hurt btc-e as a business.

Hi everyone,

I was  Wanting to start a movement / petition to get 'koolio' banned from moderating btc-e.

My reasoning for the desire is that he is a blatant liar. Koolio is in charge of moderating the chat box on one of the largest crypto exchanges. While moderating he has falsely told btc-e customers to purchase specific coins while secretly dumping these coins for personal gain.

Koolio is grossly misusing his mod powers for personal gain.

If you have been duped by him, listened to his lies, or just disagree with his abusive use of powers I urge you to issue a support ticket with btc-e to get him removed.

Abusers, liars, charlatans etc devalue crytpo and ultimately hurt the community.

Together we can build a bigger and better community.

sounds like someone else i know.
