101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any new airdrop coins? on: January 31, 2018, 08:52:54 PM
please be careful here. Many people post only a Google form. They only want their data. Often there is no Airdrop available. So always open your eyes and read. This is important. Do not give strangers your data

That is valid notice. Also, if there is only Google form and project requests donation, most likely it is a scam.

If project has recently created twitter account with 2 or 3 tweets, it is more likely scam (there will be no tokens and they collecting followers to sell account).
If project shows only social media links and no website, more likely a scam.
When there is website, check if presented team (if there is any) exists (linkedin for example) and is somehow connected to project (legit team members tend to put at least one line on linkedin that they are related to project).
Check if there is similar named account on twitter, which might belong to legitimate project and do not hesitate to contact legit project on Twitter or Telegram to validate airdrop.
Make sure you read whole form. Many times there si different token in title and different in description.
Make sure you read name of token and check if it matches social profiles. Example recent Xarum, which suppose to be Xaurum, but someone did typo. More likely it will be scam as they can't even write token name correctly.

All legit projects will respond quickly, if you approach them on twitter or telegram and in case you spot scam they will react with appropriate announcement to warn others.

Hosting is not the same as registrar.

Hosting provides host (server/s).
Registrar registers and handles domains.
CM domains are registered with Gandi.
CM is hosted on KnownSRV and supposedly bought additional servers from NFOrce Entertainment B.V.

Gandi put domain on clientHold because it has recieved numerous complaints from guys like you and information used to register the domain turned out to be false.
CM registered coinsmarkets.org with Gandi but this time address and phone of Juvo Marceles is obfuscated (probably means that he provided his real address and phone and asked Gandi to conceal this info on whois)

KnownSRV asked CM to move because again, it recieved numerous complaints from people like you, including calls from around the world in the middle of the night to the owner of that company about how CM "stole their moneh".

Now CM has their new domain and SSL configured but pointing to old servers from KnownSRV. Suposedly CM is now in process of migration to new servers from Crypto Servers Ltd. But last part is not confirmed.
As you can see it fits perfectly into what CM claims have happened in last week.

Do you have more theories out of your ass? Cheesy

.org domain is registered by CM especially in context of most recent news on CM:

Time : 2018-01-30

Only official domain for our site is coinsmarkets.com ,all other are fake , used to steal your data , Pin will be reset before starting site again ,

Bunch of jerks with crystal ball haha Cheesy you watch too many movies with witches Cheesy

You trying to convince people to read news on CM website and same time contradicting statements which are there Cheesy

What part of "coinsmarkets.org is pointing to the old CM servers" you fail to understand?

You have to read with understanding next time.
I clearly referred to statement "CM registered coinsmarkets.org".

Same time pushing to people that news section is the "only source of truth" those 2 things don't match.
You have to learn to remove emotions and match facts.

In addition to that make reasonable comments not just to comments without sense and outside of context.

Basically my point is, where you all people have this BS about CM status from?
Instead of focusing on facts making theories.

All this BS:

"CM registered org domain"
"CM has new servers"
"they working on servers"
"they coming online tomorrow"

Facts are:
 - domain changed owner, which does not indicate at all that service will be brought back
 - servers are still old
 - no access to accounts on CM
 - no indication when CM will be available again, if ever

So, which part you failed to process?

How that fits into claim that Gandi told them to move to some other hosting?
Why new domain would be hosted with same provider which suppose to turn back to them? Smiley

And where is that sign of coming back then? Smiley
Also, if this is same domain hosting company why they can't use previous domain? Smiley

This is it exactly, except the servers are hosted at NForce.  KnownSRV is the ISP for NForce.

The .org is not a scam site.  It accepts a valid login and fails on an incorrect login. So IF, IF it were a scam, they would have to have stolen the db from CM and we are all screwed anyway.

Technically I know how that works. But still makes no sense at all Smiley
What is the problem to provide real details to gandi and hide it from .com domain Smiley
If they so honest and provided real details for new domain, couldn't that be done for old one? Smiley
To buy whois privacy service is few clicks.
So, new domain still not really explained.

New hosting... will see if KnownSRV will reply anything. Did ask them some time ago to provide more details.
I wonder if I get any reply.

108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any new airdrop coins? on: January 29, 2018, 01:31:47 PM

It's a scam. Confirmed with Rebel on Telegram. Rebel is not running any airdrop. The only planned airdrop is over.
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Experiences with CoinsMarkets.com? on: January 29, 2018, 10:06:38 AM
Hi Guys,

Now as it is becoming rather likely that CM will come online again this week it may be wise
to have some thoughts about this. I dont actually know the exact number of users at CM but
they have expressed clearly that they could handle 3 times more users but not 10 times more
users and that users have grown with 1000% in December.

It is logical to assume that they have setup their server capacity now to handle this
amount of 10 times the users in December. However:

The new server capacity will be able to handle the amount of users on normal average usage but the
first day when CM comes back I expect an extreme peak usage of the website.

I hope that they will make some arrangements to lower the total resource usages like limiting
allowed connections, manual withdraws etc. etc. but if they dont do that (what I expect) then
it could most certainly happen that the website will go down again in just a couple of hours.

We can all help with the succesfull reopening by avoiding excessive usage of the website in the
first days. I would most certainly not execute 'walletstatus.php', which is a completely stupid
PHP script blowing up their servers, and stay away from massive withdraws 1 after another.
Lets all act civilized and contribute to a succesfull reopening of the Coinsmarkets exchange.

Take Care,
Reiniere.

So, why new servers won't be scaled properly to handle high volume of traffic? Wouldn't be that helpful in future? Smiley

Also, can you disclose source of you information, please?
Are you Cm representative?
110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Experiences with CoinsMarkets.com? on: January 29, 2018, 09:16:20 AM
why site not fixed yet .. also they did not given any ip adress to temp operation

They did.. or people provided that rather Smiley http://185.66.140.234/news.php
Of course all news there is legit and confirmed, so you have to wait Cheesy
111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Experiences with CoinsMarkets.com? on: January 28, 2018, 03:11:27 PM
who is concerned about their earnings in coinsmarket should get a job and earn money by doing something for the world and not for their own egoistic ideology. Also you should never leave your coins in some place stored- Either there is no garanty that your "money" is being host on a safe place so actually it is your own idiotic naive thinking to lend strangers your precious coins. Now youre stressed because the big bully guy you know he was going to fuck you up isnt giving you back your 5 dollars for you lunch.

Now learn the hard way.

wow, get the fuck outta here

not everybody lives in the same bubble as you. and regarding "should get a job", you must be really closed minded not to see and understand the vast multicultural backgrounds we all come from. we have all different stories.

"who is concerned about their earnings in coinsmarket should get a job"  -- so people that may have a job a house a wife etc but still invested about 100k for day trading, have an egoistic agenda? xD

there are so many flaws in your mentality that I'm not even going to bother to make your understand. I will agree tho, that it is risky to leave your money in an exchange, if you are day trading that's a risk you must take most of the times. but people that are buying to hold a long time.. well that's just not a bright idea. yes, the staking part is tempting, but still... you give a company* your money and the company* gives you a promise back that you may have your funds/coins. there's always the risk.

Obviously you both came to same conclusion, that crypto investing is a risk and keeping money on exchange is even bigger risk Smiley
No point to fight Smiley
I guess we all have money stuck with CM and want it back regardless if this junk site will or will not come back online.
112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Experiences with CoinsMarkets.com? on: January 28, 2018, 02:38:48 PM
Why are people trying so hard to spread the fud arround coinsmarkets....they either comeback or they dont.Nothing we do will change that fact so why stress about it,there are more important things to worry about in life(and yes i also have btc trapped there)

To be fairly honest, I think that lot of people here is trying to look at things objective way with no emotions.
I wouldn't call it fud.. just facts.

Most of anger is spread by noob CM "defenders" to heat up situation, I guess.
Still, reason for heating up emotions is not known to anybody.
Unless they lost 100usd of pocket money mom gave them to buy some lunch at school Cheesy

Also, summarizing events with CM from beginning of January till now is purpose of these discussions.

I guess it all goes to one conclusion at the end: when it should be called scam?

Option number 2 is that we have similar conversation in 6 months time with same people still defending CM and saying it is "coming back tomorrow" Cheesy
By that time, however, site will be gone, I guess Smiley
113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any new airdrop coins? on: January 28, 2018, 01:08:14 PM

Project may be legit, but they didn't do any airdrop, so someone just used existing project to collect "donations" Smiley
It became common recently to pretend legit projects to get donation money for "more tokens" Smiley

That would explain blocked twitter account. Real project reported scam to Twitter and account got blocked.
114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any new airdrop coins? on: January 28, 2018, 01:02:18 PM
anyone know what has happened to whitemoney.io airdrop. I had some  coins from referel and now can not log into that site. They ask to verify the email. But now confirmation email is  sending. Is This a scam ico?

Here is address which owns all whitemoney tokens:
https://etherscan.io/address/0x4608833fbd418cedb275227826cd07359175bf86#tokentxns

As you can see there was in fact 200millions coins, but according to pre-sale report they should have sold 50millions coins Smiley doesn't seem to be true Cheesy unless distribution didn't happen Wink

I wouldn't have high hopes on that project ... seems there is no objective except some buzz-words taken from other sites, no team presentation.

So, it might not be next "big thing" Smiley

EDIT PS. One more thing... if you see transactions from contract creator address, first transfers happened to etherdelta Smiley
That's something which shouldn't happen in my opinion, if project is focused on project objectives, not directed to generate,  dump tokens and then vanish.
115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Experiences with CoinsMarkets.com? on: January 28, 2018, 12:36:05 PM
I wonder why these "honest" and "great" people of CM didn't remove this one-liner:
"
We are checking with different hosting now. Process taking longer than expected with fixing DB , All coins are safe .
"

Not relevant any longer Cheesy
Till now we also don't know team names... if so honest, what is the problem to uncover themselves?

Also, big happiness came after few words on broken website Cheesy
I wonder how that indicated that anything will be fixed Cheesy
There is no information who is new provider, no ETA given and no other details Cheesy

Not sure what caused that happiness, if nothing changes really in status, just someone posted few sentences we don't even know are true Cheesy

EDIT PS. There are also at least 2 servers behind public IP address of CM.. I wonder on which one news are more relevant Cheesy
Definitely we can see de-sync between those systems and after few refreshes we might see different "news" Smiley
I wonder then, how work is going if servers, which suppose to be fixed and rebuilt by today (well, even week ago) are not synchronizing Smiley

More new servers Cheesy so, 3 weeks ago new servers arrived and are already configured Cheesy
Now they will get more new servers and mail registrar Cheesy ah well Cheesy

Interesting which company is new hosting for them haha Cheesy

I would expect it's ScamNet Ltd Cheesy

Get lost you damn cry baby

You have also problem to differentiate sarcastic comment from crying Cheesy
You seem to be crying like total jerk Cheesy
I guess still didn't go to a doctor like I advised you? Cheesy
Are you w*****g over CM broken website? Cheesy

Coinsmarkets would've been back ages ago if you guys didn't fuck things up with all your FUD and trolling.

Sit your ass down, calm down, shut the fuck up, and wait. Go do something else to distract you, it's only a matter of time for coinsmarkets to come back online.

And you need to go to doctor.. as you seem to have emotional issues.
And also you seem to be delusional, so stop overdosing stuff you using.
It did permanent damage to your brain, it seems.

Seems a lot of newbies are in here telling people CM is coming back and telling members to shut up if they complain about CM.

Hmmmm, is one of those newbies you CM playing the incognito role?

Yup. I'd say you right. Only brand new and noobs are telling very arogant and aggressive way that CM is coming back.
Typical behaviour when they loosing ground and now trying to shut people by shouting and abusing.

Too many people were thinking rational way, so they called for more junkies to start playing on emotions again.
Simple and primitive technique.

Yes. There’s just no fooling you two.

It is interesting that January 11th you felt need to register on BTT and start abusing people.
Either you have emotional problems or different reason for doing that.
And what a great interest in forum about CM.
