Guys Relax,

All exchanges witness the same problems:
http://cryptocoinscity.com/news.html

Explosion of users together with DDOS attacks. nightmare for websites but it will
be handled when the web-servers will be upgraded.

Only YOBIT stays stable (lol) Nobody dares to DDOS them. You will probably
get a nuke in your rosebud when you try that.

good luck,
reiniere.

I see difference between coinsmarkets and other exchanges with problems.
To other exchanges you can still log in and access your balances.
On coinsmarkets it is random, depends from which cache you get website, so either you see info with happy new year or about servers being delivered or error from cloudflare.

Just this tiny difference made me bit worried.

There is one more thing, which worries me.. on some occasions you can access live content from server... but when you go to withdrawal you get information that withdraw.php has not been found, so file is removed.
Files don't vanish from server because of overload, so that was removed for a purpose.
One might be to avoid massive withdrawals, which would completely killed their system. Another might be to disallow people to take their funds from exchange, so they can takeover.

Considering lack of communication from CM team and way whole situation develops it has all signs of organized theft.

According to the trollbox, i'm not the only one with "in orders" problem.  I've purchased Doge, but it didnt arrive to my wallet, and BTC is stuck "in orders", also in "Current Active Trades" there is no open orders..Yep..shit happens..Hope they'll come online and stable in a day or two.."servers arrived and being setup now" sounds good, but how much time it's gonna take? nobody knows...

stay away from sites that have troll boxes, they are probaly owned by the same scammers

hitbtc robbed me and it looks like coinsmarkets is doing the same.

just saw that another exchange called coinscontrol and GUESS what...it also has a troll box...

ill let you guys send bit coins let me know how it turns out for you guys

ill stick with binance for now, I think both the coin makers and the exchanges the pop up everyday are in the scam together

coinexchange is also down for maintenance
https://www.coinexchange.io
I think CM will be live soon

What makes you think CM will be back online soon?

coinexchange is back online.
My money is in CM. Do you not want CM to be back? I follow all charts

Between me wanting it back and owners bringing it back there is big gap Smiley
For now it is hard to believe when you see on their website information like:
"Servers overload we are migrating to a new servers , please bear with us. Servers arrived and being set up now."

Really? they had servers in garage or basement? Smiley
And that info is there last few days with no progress.

And yes.. I want my tokens back.

I would not be worried if they werent censoring the word "scam" in their chatbox.

try typing it, its censored.

Tried that.. and in fact.. chatbox changes word "scam" into asterisk "*".
225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Experiences with CoinsMarkets.com? on: January 05, 2018, 09:33:09 PM
i can tell you that yesterday morning it was online and working. i am living in europe.

it is not so much down, but 2 nights ago they had that message that the exchange is down.

you guys have equivalent of 100-200$, i am having a few thousands.

Well.. I'm more than 100$ as well, otherwise I wouldn't even bother myself looking at that site anymore.
226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Experiences with CoinsMarkets.com? on: January 05, 2018, 09:32:00 PM
Basically we can speculate, but facts are not looking good for coinsmarkets.
Why they communicate on twitter via some other account not own?
They are registered on twitter.

Also, even with small team... almost 4 days down and no ability to fix?
Stories about buying servers which are about to arrive? come on Smiley

Time to go over that Smiley there is big chance that coinsmarkets won't come back.

4 days?? it's 48 hours down. If you do not need your money, just do not go to the coinsmarket, do not create unnecessary traffic. It is better to forget about them, but do not scare other people.

No point to continue discussion. Not really sure if you have a clue about technology, so maybe don't talk rubbish about some traffic to cloudflare disturbing server rebuild.

While you waiting for your coinsmarkets go and enjoy super projects, which also were not scam and were defended by people:
https://neo-gold.com
https://www.corethum.com

Enjoy investing in those.

And speaking about money... I wish your bank will disable access to your account... you will be very happy then, will you Smiley

Amsterdam isn't even spelled right...

I should say again. In crypto world only and only trust works. i don't care about owner information. Btc-e.com was a great instance. coinsmarkets hasn't scammed anyone until now. They were reliable and i am sure that they will keep this way.

I suggest waiting another 2 days before any judgment about them.

With all respect, seriously 5 days to replace few servers in year 2018?
they did not invest any money in infrastructure before?
229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Experiences with CoinsMarkets.com? on: January 05, 2018, 06:59:51 PM
Hi Guys,

Stay relaxed. The website will come back. The server update takes more time and the communication
of these guys is awfull. Same thing happened in August when they were out for 6 days !!!
They will come back soon now. You can be sure about that because they are not scammers IMHO.

Good luck,
reiniere.

why did they remove withdraw.php file from servers while rest of content is there?

Site loads from time to time (depends which server you hit) and when you try to withdraw this is what you get:

Not Found
The requested URL /withdraw.php was not found on this server.

The way they communicate all points one direction unfortunately.

It is not that difficult to post tweet with brief information isn't it?
230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Experiences with CoinsMarkets.com? on: January 05, 2018, 06:02:29 PM
Today is day of scam Cheesy stocks.exchange vanished my money as well and deposit and withdrawal history is wiped haha Cheesy
Seems to be great end of the week .. fortunately small amount of money on coinsmarkets and stocks.exchange.
231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Experiences with CoinsMarkets.com? on: January 05, 2018, 06:00:41 PM
Today about two times i saw the exchange with coin prices  updated and in the last hours I have always seen the old prices (XP 0.000000090 and now xp 0.000000200), why bother to update prices if it is scam?

There is no update for prices... it's just different version of cached content. For sure withdraw.php file has been removed from serer, so in case you get to server no withdrawal possible.
But in terms of pages.. it just shows different content, depends from which server you pull it or from which cache server it comes.
232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Experiences with CoinsMarkets.com? on: January 05, 2018, 05:07:54 PM
they doesn't seem to have the best info, but why do we care about it? we want to make money trading shitcoins!

long live CM

yep, that's what we want as long as we can control out assets Smiley
When it is not possible then well Smiley not desired situation really Smiley

yes this is true. but we are taught since we start to use the crypto to store the coins in personal wallets not in exchanges.

until now we all made lots of money with dumps and pumps that are already normal on coinsmarkets.

after 3 days with it offline i really miss it Sad

I did like that exchange too.. it was opportunity for many coins to start trading and speedup project and then move to bigger exchanges.
I tend to keep all in my wallet too.. except this one time when didn't manage to move one coin out of CM Smiley

ah well... it's not the end of the world and I think it's time to acknowledge loss and move on.

Actually from many points of view Coinsmarkets has proven to be more proffesional than most of the exchanges. Fast support, no document verifications, allows big volume, big btc withdraw (i withrawed 4 bitcoins at a moment worth 72k$)

Even now, they notified every 12 hours about their issues. Last update was about 10 hours ago: Servers overload we are migrating to a new servers , please bear with us. Servers arrived and being set up now.

Yeah.. that information is a bit strange Smiley I mean about servers... also, if they replacing servers why not to take site offline completely, put info out there and replace servers?
Some servers are still up and running as you can access website after few refreshes.

Ah well... will see how that will go, but still 3 days it's a bit too long for 2018... if that would be 1985, then fine Smiley

Yep. Agree it all points to one conclusion... scam.

Let's wait and see, but I don't have much hope to recover coins from there.
236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Experiences with CoinsMarkets.com? on: January 05, 2018, 04:10:08 PM
Keep calm guys! Dont stress! I have 95% its not a scam, they are moving servers, they just dont have a huge team and they maybe are limited to their knowledge. They had a 10k volume, now its more than a million, they are having alot of stress and everyone trying login at same time dont help.

Binance and Bitrrex yesterday were also slowed by the rise of btc its not just small exchanges, if they kep this work, they are going to be big too.

They have a mine gold right now, why scaming for a few gold when they can get alot of gold every month?

Just dont stress and stop log in every minute, they arent a Facebook, they are a hi5, só keep calm and HODL.

I understand small team.. but 3 days already?
and no communication about progress at all?
Doesn't look legit for me so far.
237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Experiences with CoinsMarkets.com? on: January 05, 2018, 02:40:45 PM
To be fairly honest it looks strange. Servers for coinsmarkets are down for 3 days already.
These days it doesn't take that much to restore servers.
You can always spin some virtual machines and migrate website.
In addition to that they use cloudflare so it's just simple reconfiguration on cloudflare.

Also, you can access site sometimes but they removed withdraw.php page, so nobody can withdraw money.
When you try to do that you get:
The requested URL /withdraw.php was not found on this server.

So far it looks like scam... will see how that will progress, but again... 3 days to fix few servers? Seriously? Are we in 1985 or 2018?
