very true  --- the big reality is unkown to me at this time  so do you think I am going down the wrong path trying to analyse coin trends and catagorise them?

I have noticed that there are certain alt-coins that follow particular patterns/trends such as rising and falling in parallel with bitcoin-- and others that seem that move opposite to BTC, and some seem to be totally independent!! Obviously this can have a mjor impact to your trading strategy(s).

How do you classify groups or profiles of Alt-coins and what are the characteristics??

I currently use coinmarketcap.com to view the graph of total altcoin capitalisation (excluding BTC) under their Global charts option - however this graph uses USD as the measurement of Alt coin value. Where is the best place to get this graph of total Alt Coins excluding BTC where the value is in BTC (not $)??

I will continually take profits and diversify my investment into other more secure areas like property, company shares, etc, plus use profits to pay my normal expenses like my credit card

Rational is diversify my portfolio plus protect myself if Bitcoin dies(god forbid)! Yes, 1 Bitcoin may eventually be worth a million dollars but equally it could crash and go back to one dollar

When BTC drops typically Alt coins climb, so do you have a strategy for moving between BTC >Alts > Fiat > forex exchanges that offer leverage (such as SFX); and back again?

Why do you move from one to another; whats the trigger; how much of your portfolio; and when do you move out/back/onto another?
