adding a 0.01 etn fee for each transaction means that even the dev team don't believe that electroneum value will go to the moon
those who are dreaming for a 100 usd/coin or even 10 usd /coin have to be more realistic because with those value the transfer fee will be so high !!
Adding a .01 ETN does nothing but protect the blockchain from spam. It was always planned, just now announced that the testing is over and they chose .01 ETN (1 eCent) The tiny tiny fee goes to the miners anyway but this means that the value of etn will never reach a high value like 100 usd / etn (i know that will be a miracle !!). if the miracle happens the fee will be 1 usd for each transfer !! what i want to say is that we have to stop dreaming about ETN and the possibilty to be a competitor for btc and eth (sorry for my poor english) Dont understand your math - fee will always be 1 eCent per transaction - also when etn will be at 100$ sometimes. Thats only for one thing - bad people can cause heavy load to the network by permantly transfering ETN between wallets. With a fee this form of attack hopely will not happen. Gany here is my idea : as the fee is 0.01 etn that means when etn value increase the fee will also increase. the main idea of etn is making micro transaction, so if by miracle it hits 100 usd / etn and we need to make a purchase of an application or a game with 1 usd we will need to pay 2 usd (1 usd price + 1 usd as transaction fee). i think that the fee should be a % from the transacted amount not proportional to etn value thanks Ok - now I understand. But let us be realistic - a price of 1$ will fantastic and a price much more higher I think a little bit unrealistic. Because of this the fee will be no problem. And if the price will go higher, then there will be a hard fork because ETN will not be usable anymore for small transactions. Youre right - a fee based on percentage would be better. I was asked to put 5 digit pin into a box, on official electroneum site. Is that normal? I dont want to be phished.. I suppose this is some upgrade for wallets, but I wanna know for sure.

Very good news! Only bad thing for me - it will be more expensive to get more ETN after launch and I now dont belife to get ETN for less than 0,01$.  Gany |

The ICO already reached Hard Cap, it will be listed on 1st November in the exchanges. With 1ETN = $0.01 Interesting to wait until this coin drop to any exchange with that current value might be possible for a short dumped before it's jumped to a new value as we know that some bounty hunters will sell what they've got and those whos seeing an opportunity will buy and hold it until gaining profits. Like me - I hope to see 0,005 to get some more coins. After that I will wait for about one year and see what the team will reach with from their planed projects. Gany |

Hey these are listed on exchanges 1st Nov that's fine. When will the app be available for mobiles so we can either trade/mine for coins? Will this be on the same day so we can at least try out the software at the time of launch?
I bought into the coin to join in the hype just before the close, but have read up a bit more and see there are 2 very good real world apps being the gaming tokens and online gambling. Its great to see the positive hype this ico has generated and lets hope this is continued next week when listed.
Android App is just available on appstore, but mining will start 1. Nov. iOS App will be on appstore after Apple will see trading volume. Gany |

Not a dev., but from the info on the thread and whitepaper, the app will be launched on November 1st for Android. Hope we get an update soon for iOS. All tokens from the ICO have not been sold yet, so there is still chance to join (I would say act fast though as hardcap has almost been reached, so the ICO will more likely end earlier:https://twitter.com/electroneum/status/920965306310328320). HardCap is confirmed at 40m $ - so I think ICO will close within the next days.
So if someone wants to invest he shoud do now.

Ich habe nicht investiert, bin aber ziemlich auf den weiteren Verlauf gespannt. Einfach aus dem Grund, um für kommende ICOs meine Schlüsse daraus zu ziehen.
Dieses Jahr gab es Unmengen von ICOs, schlechte/gute Projekte, viel Marketing/kein Marketing, mit/ohne Soft/Hardcap, Bonus/kein Bonus, Hype/kein Hype und viele viele weitere Rahmenbedingungen.
Wenn man einfach mal zurückschaut und sich all diese ICOs mit den unterschiedlichsten Rahmenbedingungen anschaut, ist es extrem für zukünftige ICO-Investitionen hilfreich.
Auf Electroneum bin ich deshalb gespannt, weil es trotz starkem Hype sich mM. nach eher um ein unterdurchschnittliches/durchschnittliches Projekt handelt. All diese gehypten ICOs dieses Jahr, waren projekttechnisch mindestens 1 Level höher.
Auch wenn ein Hardcap den Investoren zu gute kommt, vermute ich, dass es für die Investoren nicht wirklich positiv verlaufen wird. Wünsche es natürlich keinem und hoffe einfach, dass ich daneben liege.
Was meinst du denn mit "projekttechnisch mindestens 1 Level höher"? Meinst du damit den technischen Level des Projekts oder das Projektmanagement? Gany |

So, werde jetzt auch mal etwas reinbuttern. Habe in viele unbekannte ICOs investiert, die alle mehr oder
weniger in einem Desaster endeten :-)
Dies könnte wieder passieren, ich würde lieber auf den börsen start warten Desaster halte ich bei dieser ICO für sehr unwahrscheinlich, aber ausschließen kann man das natürlich nie. Letztlich hat man in 2017 mEn keine zukunftsträchtigere ICO zu sehen bekommen. Grade durch den in Kürze erreichten HardCap könnte eine Unterschreitung der 0,01$ vielleicht verhindert werden, da es bis dahin noch etliche potentielle Käufer geben wird, die den initialen Verkäufen gegenüberstehen und damit einen Preisverfall aufhalten können.
