Went to attend the HashFast auction only to find that there was no auction or it had been moved to another location.  My bid was denied as not qualified.
Did you put up the 10% deposit?
Nope.  Because my bid was denied there was no need for me to remit a deposit.  The attorney at Four Embarcadero was in no way connected to the law firm where the auction was to be held.  They were allowing Siddiqui and company to use there conference room to perform the auction.

Use escrow, otherwise you'll be pre-ordering into HF 2.0:-(

I agree, once one individual folds out of fear, it'll be a race to expose all.  We will know, and it'll be ugly.  The last.  Fear motivates irrational and rational.

That government form is not allowing me to register my proper address. It does not accept non US states or zip codes. Should I fax proof of claim to Jessica Mickelsen's fax number  as listed on the creditor matrix?

No, the hardcopy of the proof of claim has to be filed via standard mail, unfortunately.

I think perhaps if the creditor (you) are not a US citizen or have a US address the online form will not work for you.

Others have been able to file their claim through this online form:
https://ecf.canb.uscourts.gov/cgi-bin/autoFilingClaims.pl

If someone knows for sure if everyone needs to send their claim form by mail or only if you are not from/living in the US it would be helpful to clarify for everyone.

Thanks

I went into the Bankruptcy Court in SF, three blocks from my office and literally around the corner from HF, and filed my papers in person.  She, court clerk, provided me with the URL to file electronically and told me to pass it to other creditors.  The URL is the same as above so I'll not repost.  She mentioned that you can attach PDFs to the claim, I attached my HF order confirmation emails to my claim.

Here I am, in the courtroom.  Discussion pertaining to a sources and uses document.  Gallo is here in the courtroom.  CRO = Chief Revenue Officer?  Hashfast appears to preparing for Chapter 11 or bringing a person in to restore trust.  More to come.  Name is Mr. Brinko I believe.  http://www.brincko.com/about/john-p-brincko

Motion denied? The emergency one to appoint a trustee? Why? Denied or delayed to Wednesday?

It would be great if someone spent some lines once a hearing to update us Smiley

Just got an update from someone who was listening in.  Hashfast told the court that they would voluntarily consent to a conversion to Chapter 11 bankruptcy (vs. the Chapter 7 that people are trying to force them into currently)  The judge was hesitant to appoint a trustee because they wouldn't have any authority if/once the bankruptcy was converted to chapter 11.  He didn't deny the motion he just delayed making a decision on it until Wednesday when he was perhaps expecting a more concrete answer on if HF really did intend to submit to Chapter 11.  The judge also adopt the TRO that liquidbits(?) got from arbitration that disallows HF from doing anything shady with their assets.

I'll be the first to admit that the legal process was beyond my comprehension.  But, regardless, I enjoyed the experience.

That was an experience!!  I think I'll go back Wednesday.  I sort of felt the pain of the judge trying to wrap his mind around Bitcoin.  I'm all in on cryptocurrencies and remember my "what huh" moment when I first heard about BTC.    I wanted to volunteer my services to help make the court more familiar with the technology and protocol.

Hearing extended until 930am Wednesday.  I'm here now.  $2600 statutory limit for us solo purchasers.  Not sure what this means.  Something about 503b 9.  #duncwaconfused.  Motion by creditors denied.
11  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: May 23, 2014, 02:29:17 PM
50/50 that they taped it out already. The IP is valuable, but do you want to talk about a 16nm chip already taped out? Now, that would save the ship.

Let me dream.

Far and above the best posts are from you cedivad.  Keep it up.  I'm two blocks from HF HQ.  I might walk over to the bankruptcy hearing today just to hear it.  This has been like watching a train from from above.  70 mph, the bridge ahead is destroyed.  In slow motion:-) wow....just efin wow!

If there supposed story is true had all intentions to ship last week of oct, or first week of nov.
Well, let's start by defining what version of their supposed story we should take into account:

1) Edward's house fire forced Simon to focus on the business side and he forgot to take a look at the board. He realised 3 days before shipping that the board was late. (I couldn't help myself not to laugh while writing this).
2) Their core competence was focused on the ASIC that taped out in August and didn't notice that the boards were late until 3 days before shipping.
3) Substrates. Don't forget substrates. And don't forget that everything else was right on schedule or ahead of schedule, but substrates.

HashLabs: Thank you for making our case so much easier Kiss

Number 2 above was their trouble point.   They thought the board manufacture was scheduled to deliver.  I believe that they were told something by the board manufacturer and they believed the board manufacturer.  OUCH:-(

What if?Huh?   On another note.  Hashfast may consider some sort of merger with KNC.  Of course HF would get the short end of any such deal but think about HF's customers and what KNC could possibly offer HF customers.  HF may even appeal to KNC to deliver to each HF customer a 4TH machine powered by Yoli's.  Just a thought on my part.  Thought creates reality:-)

Any idea, if the chip conversion is true and real, how many chips to expect to receive for each Sierra order?

Guy has registered one week ago and is a happy hashfast customers. (as many as two smiles in the same paragraph)

Yes, it's legit.

I wish I was a happy HF customer!!  It's just that I take all adversity with a specific mental attitude.  That is, I've already written off this as a loss and have placed a great deal of my effort into creating cryptocurrency software related to existing and (yet to be invented) financial instruments....one of which is an escrow app.  More to the point with an example:  I was an IT manager with a 6 figure income at Washington Mutual in 2007 when the entire financial industry went kapow.  I kept my mind straight and dove headlong into iOS development.  Yep, I could have cried.  Lamented.  Moaned.  And felt sorry for myself after losing 85% of my retirement.  I understood, at that time, that I had to keep my mind straight.  Not panic and re-engineer. Fast forward, I am back in the saddle and earning more than I was at Washington Mutual.  That was done by mentally focusing on the future and understanding that negative thoughts would create a Coralis spiral of death in my mind and put me in that "all is lost" mental funk.   I chose to shake it off and move on.  Now, here I am with the capability and opportunity to create financial instruments based on cryptocurrencies that will render the 19th century banking and financial industry virtually obsolete....this people, is a level of opportunity that you CANNOT (or forsake) overlook.  Cryptocurrencies are a technology that will do for the financial industry exactly what the internet did for information. In summary, hope for the best from Hashfast but be prepared to pick up and move on regardless of what happens.  Don't focus on the loss, focus on creating a financial instrument that will prevent future hardware manufacturers from taking the funds and dissappearing.

I got this email.  I'm in batch 2 with an order for three Sierras.   If I switch and agree to receive three Sierra EVO's I'll get 6 T/h in May instead of 3.6 T/h in April.  Will I actually receive ANY Sierras?  I'm just rolling the dice at this point.  I've moved on to other cryptocurrency endeavors.  But hey, if I get what I paid for.....BONUS:-)....other wise I'll just look for a way to write this off as a loss to help reduce my taxable income.  Moving on:-)

If HF sold all of their GN boards to third parties like black miner, it is possible that this means that HashFast will ship Batch #2 (and 3 and 4) customers the new EVO Sierras at no added cost:-). Perhaps!!
18  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: March 11, 2014, 03:34:06 AM
What if Hashfast Sierra Batch 2 customers received 2 TH rigs?  Would we be a little bit (not a lot) less perturbed.  Looking for that activity required by Hashfast that would create a sea change of in our collective mind sets:-).

I just got that also.  Is that a confirmation of my batch 2 order?   Or is it a general purpose update to all customers?
20  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: February 16, 2014, 05:03:16 PM
