Did I read this right? 20 million per block?
int64 static GetBlockValue(int nHeight, int64 nFees) { int64 nSubsidy = 20000000 * COIN;
return nSubsidy + nFees; }

Yep, just lost 4 blocks, makes sense now.

Works fine for me! I rly like the idea of the same stats as BTC just for a scrypt coin BUT!!!!! Consider changing the name! Same chain etc... just a new release of source with changed names for this one Yes, why is this coin angry?

I see people selling them on eBay a lot but I've never tried buying or selling them there myself. At least they have the feedback system so it's a little easier to send your money first.

Ok, I'll give it a shot... It is the digital age version of the essence of money.

Has anyone contemplated a cheap laser engraver to etch an offline wallet on aluminum or other material?- I thought it might offer more stable long term storage
I've been considering etching like they do with circuit boards or possibly plating.

Just people screwing with the network trying to attack the blockchain. It will go away if you leave the client open, eventually the users get removed from your node list.

Anything special about it?

seriously, i really like the visual aspect, but what's up with that name? any means? in just.without any ideas of that name...
When this coin was released I had my doubts about the name too but I've been mining it since that first day and the name has really grown on me. I think it's one of the best cryptocurrency names out there really.

With BFGMiner and BTC I use almost no switches other than the pool address, etc. But for scrypt I have to put in shader values, intensity and worksize. This page helped a lot : http://blog.nwoolls.com/2013/05/02/litecoin-mining-on-mac-os-x-gpu-mining/even though I'm on windows, it was still basically the same. GPU-Z is almost a must have for gpu mining. It will give you the shader values if you don't know them.

Litecoin is a Scrypt coin so you have to use --scrypt (in cgminer and bfgminer), not sure what the switches would be for others but I'm sure it's a similar idea. And your hashrate will be more like 500 KH/s instead of MH/s but that's just the way it works.
