141  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Schools Are Officially Accepting Bitcoin for Tuition on: July 02, 2018, 10:09:35 PM
This is a most welcome move and direction of such schools. It shows these schools have an open mind to crypto and encourage its growth thereby contributing their quota to the healing of the crypto prices. As more and more people begin to accept the coins, the stability of the market becomes ominous and the price rises.
142  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin - future money or big casino on: July 02, 2018, 10:03:42 PM
The bitcoin is no Casino. those who bought in when the bitcoin's price was down didn't even know what they were signing up for. It is very important that we see the crypto as the revolution that is long over due to tackle the banking and financial sector and give the average man a chance at life.
143  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto VS national currency on: July 02, 2018, 09:55:13 PM
First, like I said, the ability of all countries to be crypto conformed will not be possible especially in the less or underdeveloped nations of the earth. Africa no doubt will still be using fiat currency as well as parts of latin America and Asia. Europe may even still be using it. Look, Crypto is still in its infant age and its going to take a while to revolutionize the thinking and spending choices of most people. It will be beyond 2023.
144  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What bitcoin brings to its users? on: July 02, 2018, 09:45:33 PM
The most important thing in my opinion is that Bitcoin and the crypto world in general is a REVOLUTION! yes a revolution. There have been political, religious and traditional revolutions, but the bitcoin is a financial revolution that is here to destroy the traditional status quo and introduce a modern, cryptic way of doing things financially. Its a welcome initiative.
145  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much damaged bitcoin has brought you? on: July 02, 2018, 09:39:42 PM
The bitcoin is everyday becoming more interesting and entertaining in the sense that the gains and loss i have experienced cannot exactly be quantified as i have been responsible for the losses others have known and have also been responsible the gains and profits my team has acquired. Overall, the losses are not huge but appreciable given the fact that what was lost compared to the price of bitcoin now is substantive.
146  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrencies Can Never Replace Fiat – Says EU report on: July 02, 2018, 09:22:42 PM
Lets face the fact. The arrival of the mobile phones did not completely eliminate the landlines. The White house still use landlines,, so does the Kremlin and the Knesset. other nations still use it. The mobile phones and land lines complement each other.
The bitcoin will complement the fiat and just as the mobile phones have taken a major share of the telecommunications market so will crypto. Forget it, in the next 10 years the fiat strength will further reduce and likely diminish by a good fraction.
147  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CHILD PORNOGRAPHY IN BITCOIN on: July 02, 2018, 11:32:15 AM
Well this is most reprehensible and totally unfortunate. This is why it is good to have some monitoring system. To however put the blame on bitcoin is entirely unfair and misdirected. You don't say because some shot someone with a gun that we should arrest the manufacturer or the vehicle that transported the arm to the shopkeeper or that the shopkeeper himself should be arrested. The people who did this are to blame and not bitcoin. This will not in anyway diminish the acceptance of the bitcoin
148  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin go under regulation on: July 02, 2018, 11:24:27 AM
The many fears displayed by the governments of many countries clearly shows that they do not understand the way the bitcoin and in general, the crypto world's system and operation. More of then than not most people who think bitcoin may be regulated may only come to see its advantages and its downsides. Strict regulation will not help while non- regulation at all may be unfriendly for the citizens and its economy.
149  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do whales really control the market, or is that a myth on: July 02, 2018, 10:29:03 AM
Yes, to an extent they do control the market price. Rue the day when the whales now know each other and form a cliques such that they decide when they pump price and when to buy. To an extent they affect the pump and dump situation and as such they tend to tilt market prices to their favour
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] [EXCHANGE] Blockchain.io, Your Gateway to the Internet of Value on: July 02, 2018, 10:14:45 AM
First, I must say that I am pleased and quite surprised at the level of preparation, presentation and packaging of this awesome and unique project. The crypto revolution is taking the stage rapidly in most countries and the need to conscientiously execute contracts in a way that is fast, secured and reliable cannot be over emphasized.
This project, blockchain.io will be bringing much innovation and change to the eccentric and unreliable price variations, creating the platform where all may freely carry out transactions without the fear of losses and unpredictability. I am quite sure the scalability of this project and the wherewithal to do so will be easily accessible and useable to all and sundry upon completion and takeoff.
The blockchain platform will offer to the crypto community the capacity and providence to carry out and execute smart contracts with such finesse and safety because of the unique features and capacities that will come with this project. No doubt the founders and team in general will see to it that the project receives the best and will be willing to put in the quality of work, time and effort from the developers to the marketers and all those that will be contributing positively to the totality of the birthing of this project in the shortest possible time
A really nice project here. I am expecting every wise and smart investor to Join today
151  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you did not listen before, now is last chance to reduce your loss on: July 02, 2018, 09:24:39 AM
Freight Joe didn't quite get it right on this one. While we sympathize with folks who made huge investments when the price of bitcoin peaked, to come to the conclusion that the bitcoin is taking a tanking and then sell is a most unfortunate and uncharitable thing to do to yourself. Relax friends, whatever goes around will certainly come around and its just going to be a matter of time before the markets rally round. So HODL!
152  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin reach $100,000 dollar before the end of the year? on: July 02, 2018, 09:19:12 AM
Heck No!. Bitcoin is struggling to live up to the expectation of those that went in to buy when its price peaked at the $24k mark last year. To now sink by about 75% of that lofty price and expect it to rise to the $100k mark this year is ridiculous and simply not been positive about the price of the bitcoin
153  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if Government bans Bitcoins? on: July 02, 2018, 09:12:53 AM
The possibility of the entire governments banning bitcoins or crypto is very slim, but if that happens you will need your independent server station which only a few can afford and usage will be monitored or limited such that you will be warned by the government to not open any gateways that people can use to access the website. Having said that, the government may want to also not issue licenses to intending or prospective individuals whoi cannot present a clear case portfolio of why they will be needing a special provider since the other sites are open. This could really clamp down on the usage and patronage of crypto.
154  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why we should not panic about the Bitcoin price. on: July 02, 2018, 09:02:19 AM
I am so happy that this analysis has come at a time like this to allay the fears of many who are beginning to shuffle feet and put to shame all the naysayers of this wonderful revolution and innovation. the bitcoin price will certainly rally and we all need to be patient
155  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto currency in five years! on: July 02, 2018, 08:53:53 AM
In the next five years there will be a lot of development that will come into the crypto world that would not mean that all and sundry would have adopted it. No! there will still be snags to take care of and improvements and innovations to bring which is a sign that the crypto world is here to stay
156  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin dead? on: July 02, 2018, 08:51:34 AM
I am quite aware that the bitcoin price may have dipped in the recent times but that doesn't mean it is dead. The bitcoin has survived harsh storms that points to the fact that it is tenacious and here to stay. Anyone who understands the history and dynamics of the bitcoin cannot write her off by a few market downturns.

158  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I got scammed. I want to go after this asshat. on: June 25, 2018, 05:21:53 PM
I am absolutely sure you knew this before asking and then threw this at the community. If there be any machine anywhere remotely possible to carry out what you are thinking, then there would be no bitcoin anywhere. What you are proposing could only happen in a Sci-Fi movie, and that would mean shutting out the electricity requirement of half of Chicago for that job.
Sorry mate! may be in the future, but right now, this is no way possible.
159  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which is more risky? Bitcoin or bank investment? on: June 25, 2018, 06:29:33 AM
Which is riskier The bitcoin business or bank investment? If you must know the truth, bank investment is less risky than bitcoin. The profits from bitcoin can be high and sudden, but so are the risks. However, I would prefer to invest in the bitcoin than the bank.
160  Economy / Speculation / Re: the reason why bitcoin falls on: June 25, 2018, 06:24:11 AM
Why is bitcoin falling? the long-term bitcoin holders would be selling their bitcoin for fear of an attack with quantum computing that could happen within a few years, for this reason they would be anticipating to get their profits before it keeps falling further? .. the fact is that bitcoin will not return to the price levels of December 2017

This is partly true. while quantum plays a role in the way the price index of the crypto assets, the wide range of events and circumstances - like the recent hack of an exchange - leaves a bearish effect on the price of assets too.
