1. How can you calculate how many rigs you can plug on that ?
- It's all about power consumption. You should ask about how many Current (Ampere) in your new warehouse power line. Then check back the power consumption for your rigs, so here you go. One of my friend has a mini farm with 360V power supply, and total current he could access is 60-A, so total power is 21.6 kW. All of his GPUs are P106-100, each rig has 12 GPUs which consumes about 1250W as mining ETH. So 21.6/1.25 ~ 17 rigs maximum.
2. How can I calculate what's the price of my Kw/H ?
- The letter from electricity company is quite a lot, I think you should ask them make a table which you could easily track. But as I understand, they make calculation based on several stages according to power consumption: 15,090 kWh and 50 kilowatts, I'm not quite sure but it seems expensive.
Thanks for the info, yes i'll contact them directly My input is 600v and I have a Transformer 600V 45Kva to 240v if that can help

You should higher an electrician before you get yourself killed.
No Worries, not gonna stand near this thing. It's only for calculation purpose

Usually I'm working on 240V and 120V so I'm using this formula to calculate the capacity of my electric Panel.
Inputs: 200 AMP of 240V = 400 AMP of 120V

Hi There, I now have acces to a new warehouse, but the thing is that my incoming electricity is not 240V as i'm used to it, it's 550V.... How can you calculate how many rigs you can plug on that ? How can I calculate what's the price of my Kw/H ? I'm not sure to understand the Electricity company explainations: Rate G General rate for small-power customers Back to base rates
Customers eligible for Rate G Rate G applies to contracts with no billing demand or with a minimum billing demand of less than 65 kilowatts (kW).
In general, Rate G is advantageous for customers whose power demand does not exceed 50 kW. Approximately 90% of Hydro-Québec business customers are signed up for Rate G.
These explanations have been simplified. For more details about Rate G, consult section 1 of chapter 3 of the Electricity Rates, approved by the Régie de l’énergie.
Structure of Rate G Billing for Rate G includes the following:
A fixed charge, i.e., an amount you pay for each period in question, even if you consume little or no energy. It is established on a monthly basis, but the amount billed varies slightly from one consumption period to the next based on the number of days in the period. An amount for the energy in kilowatthours (kWh) consumed during the period in question. Two different prices apply depending on the amount of energy consumed: a price for the first 15,090 kWh a lower price for the remaining consumption An amount for the power in kilowatts (kW) measured during the period in question, if the power demand exceeds 50 kilowatts (kW). Rate G is a monthly rate, which means the fixed charge, the first-tier consumption limit and the amount billed for power are based on a 30-day period.
In general, the consumption period is about 1 month if there is a charge for billing demand, or about 2 months if there is no charge.
Learn more about your electricity rate
Rate G prices in effect Fixed charge for a 30-day period, adjusted to the exact number of days in the consumption period in question $12.33 Price of energy First 15,090 kilowatthours (kWh) 9.78¢/kWh Remaining consumption 6.88¢/kWh Price of power First 50 kilowatts (kW) not billed Power exceeding 50 kW $17.43/kW Rates in effect as of April 1, 2017. This table does not replace the Electricity Rates document in any way whatsoever.
How to read your Rate G electricity bill
Switch to another rate Automatic switch Hydro-Québec will automatically switch you to Rate M or Rate G-9 if your total consumption is 100,000 kilowatthours (kWh) or more and if, given the rates in effect on April 1 of each year, applying the more advantageous of these rates would yield savings of at least 3% on your electricity bill in comparison to Rate G.
When your minimum billing demand reaches 65 kilowatts (kW), your contract is no longer eligible for Rate G. It automatically switches to Rate M or, if your load factor is less than 30%, to Rate G-9.
Request a switch If you’ve been billed for power (power demand of 50 kW or more) at least once over the past 12 monthly periods, Rate M may be more advantageous for you.
If the load factor on your bill is usually below 30%, and your power demand is above 65 kW (a billing demand of 15 kW shows up in your consumption history) at least once during the past 12 monthly periods, Rate G-9 may be more advantageous for you.
If you think one of the situations above may apply to you, contact our Business customer services at 1 800 463-9900.
Planning any changes? If you’re planning to buy new equipment, extend your business hours or enlarge or renovate your facility, your use of electricity could increase and it could then be to your advantage to switch to Rate M or G-9. Don’t hesitate to contact our Business customer services at 1 800 463-9900 for more information.
Other rates or rate options If you have your own electricity-generating equipment and have a Rate G contract, the following option may be of interest to you.

Hi there
I have different models of RX on my rig: RX570 4GB/8GB and some RX580 4GB/8GB of different brand. All the card are flashed and all off them have been tested individually. (It's a rig of 6 gpu)
When I plug the first GPU, I have to use the AMD Patcher because it shows a warning in the device manager and it's not recognized by the drivers. I have to do that every-time I add a gpu. Everytime I add a gpu, all the 570 get back to "warning state" in the device manager. I'm pluging one gpu, installing the drivers, rebooting, adding one, etc... The best I've been able to do is 5GPU, sometimes 4 MAX, etc...
Motherboard is Asus-Prime Z270-a and i'm running w10. I have another rig running with 3 different model of gpus (Total of 6 gpus) and it's working fine without issues.
Thank you very much, If you can help me to solve this, I'll send a 50$ reward to the person with the solution.

It's a motherboard/processor issue, I got around this by using a port multiplier on one of the x1 slots. I would try messing around with BIOS first like disabling junk like onboard audio and change pci configurations.
Sadly I dont have a multiplier available, Junks are already disabled in the bios. The annoying part is that I have dozen of this exact model up and running, but this one doesnt want to work... Clear CMOS (either use the appropriate jumper, or remove the battery and replace it after ~10 seconds).
Then attempt to boot with ONE card, directly installed into the physical PCIe x16 slot closest to the CPU. Can you get your system to boot with this configuration?
My system can boot with 1 gpu connected via riser on the first PCIE16x and I already did many Clear CMOS but without any results. If with these informations you still think it's a good idea, I can test it If you're certain all individual cards and risers are working, try adding them one-by-one, starting with one connected to the physical PCIe x16 slot closest to the CPU (use this one for video, as well). Assuming your BIOS is currently at default settings, ensure that you have enabled 4G decoding, and have PCIe link speed to GEN1 or AUTO. Already tested that BUT i've didnt test to connect directly in a gpu, i'll try that

Hi There
I have a weird error with my Asus Prime Z270-p....
The rig was running for a while with 6 gpus on it, but yesterday it crashed and at boot it said windows startup was corrupted so i've freshly installed w10.
Now the problem is:
I can get 3 or less gpus running if one of them is connected to the first PCIE16x slot, more then that the bios appear and black screen after BUT I can get 5 gpus running IF the first PCIE16x slot is NOT used, more then that the bios appear and black screen after
I've tried multiple combinations of GEN1-2 in the 3 different place of the Mobo BIOS but I can't get it to work. I've also tried to downgrade the bios mobo to V0812, testing 6 gpus was unsuccessful, I've switched it back to the latest Version and I can't use the first PCIE16x slot.... Also, I've tried different combinations of order for the gpus, they all seems to work fine.
Have any idea? Do you think the Mobo is fried or something ? Thank you VERY much!
Info Update: -Clear CMOS: Done multiple times -Booting with only ONE gpu connected via risers to the first PCIE16x: Working -Running BIOS version 1002

Hello
The title says the problem. My rig was working fine, ive removed a gpu from it and now claymore is not working anymore. When i launch it, it freeze and windows stops it.
Any idea ?
Thanks

Did you checked everything in the BIOS ?
Sometimes Windows 10 does some funny things (with UEFI it can change settings in the bios), and it messed my setups before !
Bios settings are VERY basics and there's only a few. Any ideas what i should look for ?

Hi
Is it working with 4 ?
If so, try to connect your screen to the GPU that is on the first PCIE x16 port, not on x1, and especially not on the onboard graphics output. It helps for windows to boot
Yes it's working with 4 and I'm already connected to the first x16 port

Yes, But it was working before on W10, that's what I dont understand :/

Hi there,
I'm having troubles with my Gigabyte 990FX-Gaming Rev1.0, I'm not able to get more than 4 gpus to work on it. It was working before but now it doesnt.
I've reinstalled a fresh W10 in it, but when I connect the 5th gpu, I dont get an image anymore on the monitor.
Got any tips for that board? Thanks!

Hello!
I would like to know what is your way to OC gpus for optimization with OverdriveNTool after you've flashed an amd gpu for Dual-Mining ?
As an exemple, do you start by augmenting the Memory Mhz? And by increment of how much ? Testing it for how much time ?
Exemple of pipeline: Augmenting Memory by 50mhz, testing for 5 minutes each time -> Reducing Core Mhz by 50mhz, testing for 5 minutes each time -> Reducing Core Mv by 50mv untill crash, testing for 5 minutes each time etc....
What is your pipeline to optimize the performance of gpus ?
Thanks for the share!

What is the order of what you adjust when you overclock ?

Hello
I've been trying again and again to make my rig of 6x RX570 4GB MSI Armor OC to run but there's nothing I'm able to do with it to make it stable. The only thing I get is blue screen again and again (VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE)
Do you guys have any .rom I could use ? I've been using the Anoraks one memshift1500 for both Hynix and Elpida, knowing I have both of them in my rig. I had to use -f command in ATI because the ssid wasnt matching.
Any .rom I could use or OC settings with OverdriveNTool ? This rig is getting me crazy...
If you guys have any tips, I'll be very happy. Thanks
STOP blindly applying BIOS's and overclocks! That error is typically due to too high overclocks. Flash BIOS, but keep clock speeds stock, test for 15minutes, if its stable then start upping the clocks 50Mhz at the time mem, each with a 15 minute testing period. I have 8 rigs with 12xArmor 4G RX570, no issues at all, I do polarisbioseditor with the oneclick patch, then start dialing in clocks for each card individually (Testing 1 card until its stable, then applying to the next one, testing again before applying to the next one etc. Thanks for the reply, can you explain step by step what you are modifiyng when Oc/undervolt ? What do you start with ?
