You have flawed logic I believe, Bitcoin is not money.
So what is it? Just a state in blockchain file, if you dont spend them you cant be taxed, no one can prove you own the private key when mined, or anytime later. It is not money, and only spend bitcoins havethe value of exchanged item

There are two types of taxes you need to worry about with Bitcoin.
The first is regular income tax. If you earn bitcoins by mining or doing any other kind of work, you must declare the market value of your bitcoins as earned income whether you sell them or not.
So you are telling that if i draw a great painting, i must decrale its market value as earned income, whether i sell it or not? No, because that painting isn't payment for services rendered, which is what mined bitcoins are. They are the payment that miners receive for securing the Bitcoin network. If you receive anything as a payment for services or any other kind of work you did, that's income and you have to declare it. You have flawed logic I believe, Bitcoin is not money.

what, exactly, is stopping us from putting an enormous set of solar panels into space and beaming electricity down to earth that's derived from direct exposure to the sun?
would it cost too much? seems worthy of all the governments working together, in my eyes.
is there a technical reason? does the technology already exist?
do we already do this and it turned out to be a crappy idea?
what am i missing?
Much cheaper to keep it at earths ground. You play some scifi game now?

In short, mining difficulty and costs DO NOT affect bitcoin prices. At least not in any significant way.
I see it bit differently. With so much invested in Bitcoin ASIC, the owners are not likely to sell quick because they woudnt get investments back anyways, thus price might be rising

Solving the captchas take too much time and so little rewards, so not worth and not funny

Hello, new to the forums but have been lurking for some time! I still have a lot to learn about Bitcoin in general but I'm getting there. Have bought a few AM USB Block Erupters to mess around with mining and have been liking it so far. Hope to be able to contribute some to this forum in the possible future. Welcome, I have 2 USB Block Erupters, they dont mine much, but these dont take much electricity so its fun

Security is a big thing, but at the end of the day how secure are you? Blockchain is most likely the most used because it has been around for a long time.
Means it is secure. You can use two factor authentication

I thinking if it is joke or your serious I'm serious some people dont want to gain feedback so they can sell through me. I have done it before. Then my apologies It seemed as complete waste of 2% to me and why you didnt post it in services thread instead?

This time is the normal adjustment, I feel the price should be stand on $150 for a long time.
Quite unlikely considering how the Bitcoin price fluctuates in the past, but it would be nice change
