Any advice on what exchange to use from the USA?  Asking for a backwards, techless  Ozark hick  Tongue  funding/withdrawal options other than wire transfer?  I thought Kraken would be good, but apparently its easier to use from the North Pole than from within US.

Gemini is great.   ACH transfers to/from bank account with very high limits.   Has always worked very well for folks (so I am told).   What is a 1099?

If just everyone does like I just did (slam the ignore option on his posts) - we will all do less glaring and cracking of knuckles.

So close to a new ATH. Excited to be here with all my fellow WO-OG members. How do you celebrate something when your situation should be a secret to others. Not sure how I will handle the questions from colleagues. Strange and exciting times to live in. Is this all a simulation? When does it end? How does it end?

It is remarkable to see the real-time adoption of Bitcoin unfolding day by day. The bear market was easy. The real hard part comes next year. I don't feel prepared for what awaits me

make a plan.
look for investments that will "work while you sleep" literally.

In 2017 I had my cubicle at my 8-5 cleaned out and ready for departure - then the great fall of BTC changed things a bit.

needed a certain $$ amount in passive income to be 100% confident to leave the corporate safety net.  Did not quite get there.  The lesson I learned was 1. to act fast when the BTC value is high and ripe.  and 2. don't look for deals.. just "pay to play".  buy the rental real estate, restaurant, company, etc. quick and overpay if necessary to get it done.

So every once in awhile I look at my Porsche and think "Damn that thing is worth a lot given the 2 bitcoins I paid for it". The value of having it these past few years is amazing, but those bitcoins would have bought other things now. Time however is something you can't replace.

I wonder if Bob is going to look at his liberated and lubricated ex-wage-slave and think "damn that boy's ass is worth a lot given the X bitcoins I paid to bail him out of bondage".

I'm afraid me paying 30 BTC for my Ducati is not going to age any better then it already has so far.... But like Bob said, absolutely no regrets!!

You mean the one that you crashed a few weeks later, or a different one?

 Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

My face is starting to slip away from my skull, yo.

This rocket has some high-grade fuel, yo.

We might hit $18K today at this rate.
This shit remind me of late 2017. The craziest thing is that this bull market is just getting started though.

How could it remind you of late 2017 when we have not even reached the previous ATH.. ?   hardly makes any senses...
@JayJuanGee Today I am writing here on this thread first time because I am new to this forum and in this community trying hard to understand someone suggest me if I want to understand this all then I have to read your posts very carefully so I already done and read some good number of pages look like its very interesting for me but still want to ask can you give more tips to understand this all thanks.

Ha Ha..

Keep him occupied elsewhere for a bit.  JK

I will never forget.  I was at a very remote area on the Yucatan peninsula ...

I do not see any way for this storm not to hit.  And in all it's never seen before glory it will sweep everything out of it's way as it reshapes the financial landscape for history.

Carolina.

Awesome!   If I had any merit, I would have deposited it here.

Assuming your permission, I will copy and send your post to my "maybe" coiners that need a boost to get invested.

going to bed..

I will trust my phone and PC to sound the alerts when certain thresholds are reached.

no auto-trading at this time due to the high exchange fees  (block auctions are free - but you have to be awake to perform them manually)

Yeah, about Brad's post...

... Also in 2013 my 'banker' sic'd the SEC on me due to Bitcoin being 'evil' and drug money and all. With a speaker phone

on with SEC guy, when I brought reciept of BTC purchase and their error of I spent $99,999.99 (i mean really, you can't catch such a bank error?) The banker THEN

tried to jack me up with the SEC guy on the phone and say I obviously did not do my taxes on Bitcoin. I antipated the asshole and slapped my completed 2013 by CPA

(revised for the new Bitcoin rules) down and called  him an asshole.

The SEC guy through speaker phone was like 'why am I here? Anyway, some of you have heard this story, but

this illlustrates how far Bitcoin has come since 2013! ...

Brad

You are a very forgiving person if that banker did not end up with at least a  broken nose out of the deal.
There are taddle or snitch rewards when the IRS collects on tax evaders.   Maybe that is what he was hoping for...

a broken nose is what he deserved (deserves).

This is unsustainable. The price will be under $10k before the end of the year, and stay there until Libra takes over. Bitcoin is done. Short bitcoin.

Merited for making me laugh. I'm borrowing the jbreher rule.

'Make me spew? Get a merit!'

wait.. what ??  giving bogus "doom is going to consume us all" type predictions gets you merits?   Don't give the kid in the store a treat when they are acting bad.   You guys are rewarding bad behavior.

59  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 26, 2019, 04:14:36 PM
My confirmed sources prove that this will not happen.

but are those confirmed sources verified?

 Grin

I can confirm that I verify all of my confirmed sources.

how did he get so many merit?

maybe this forum should have a hot/quick ignore button so I can ignore a person with just one click  : )

I'm starting to lose motivation at work...
[/quote]

today I came to work to use their fast connection to watch the charts  - and read WO posts  : )

in 2017 I was slowly cleaning out my desk and trying to decide how to creatively "resign" in some sort of memorable manner..  then 2018 happened and I had to put all that on hold.

now I am wondering if I should move a few more personal items from my work desk ... feeling like 2017 again...
