I'm trying my hand at trading today.  I seem to really really suck it it but you only live once.  I sent the contents of my hot wallet (~0.08BTC) to binance and set a limit order for $12,950, BTC to USDT.  I have a feeling we're going to see $13k sometime today, probably just for a blip and then suffer a small correction, maybe even below $11k.

Am I crazy or what?
Nah you might be right to do that. No one wants to fomo the top.
note it already blipped to 13k there earlier on.
until finex comes back on and things settle in a direction, hardly any point predicting
having said which, i predict up!

The good news:

The bull is really on fire  Grin

The bad news:

A real correction should come in soon, it is very unusual that after a 400% runup in 2,5 months every dip is bought up with big strength.

I do not believe we will see ATH in July, thus i will be closing all my longs and prepare for a real big judas candle.

Overall, a correction would be healthy now, though its bitcoin and we could see ATH by next month lol.

Stops yes.  Close no.

Trying to pick the top in advance is a recipe to exit and FOMO back in.  Let the market take you out of your position, not the other way around.

Meantime is Bitfinex gone forever? Would be the ultimate cool exit scam. :-)

They say they should be back in less than an hour. Earlier on gentle mandy was speculating they might crash the price by introducing 100x leverage.

How much will finex steal in the downtime? I wonder

Just "forget" to turn the website back on for users for a bit.

Or we go superparabolic and ATH within a fortnight.  Fuck knows. Prepare for both.

Well the current high on Bitstamp is $12,936. During this run each time the high was taken out we were good for another advance. Your money your trade. You might leave some money on the table, may not. You can be sure at some point we will have a $1000 or more dump where you can buy back in.

I think this also, its all about the confidence level.

Jeez...I go away for a day or so and now I have to have another FOMO/PUMP party and play the music because BTC is over 12K now.

Damn, better play my music again and theme song: Secret Agent Man

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nGZ0ntpSx2Y

Obviously, This playlist thread below is the reason Bitcoin is pumping, so it is all on me to continue the fomo/hodl/pump party

Add your own fomo/pump/hodl music to my thread on this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5157131.msg51604550#msg51604550

...For example, do all those cards from Gibraltar actually work as of now? I never got positive confirmation.

I spent a few hours searching yesterday and couldn't find one that was available to Us residents and not marked all over scam sites. Many link to messages "no longer available".

We need a list of safe active Charge card sites.

One goes to LFC for asking the right question - which I second and have asked myself in the past, WOT or elsewhere, with less than satisfactory results. For example, do all those cards from Gibraltar actually work as of now? I never got positive confirmation.

All Gibraltar cards are long, long dead.

If you're in the EU then you have Wirex which also does GBP. Coinbase do GBP and have launched in six EU countries. Both are a fair bit more expensive to use than the Wavecrest cards.

In the US all that's left is Bitpay and that's getting its services slowly pruned.

Most others are vapourware like Monaco or couldn't be bothered to tell you that they're Gibraltar and dead too.

XMR/BTC just made a nose dive.

https://www.tradingview.com/chart/DL4HQwBW/

0.0083. I care because it is the only notable altcoin I hodl (Less than %1) and I think it is not really shit. Globb0 do something.  Shocked

Institutions supporting transparent chains and trying to trash the only real opaque one.

The winners will be those that get them at this price.

A glorious good morning Bitcoinland.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4--z677590k

I see we reached a dizzying new AYH and had another nice correction/retrace of about $.8k before rising again... currently $12830USD/$16880CAD (Bitcoinaverage).

All is well in Bitcoinland. While some may feel it's rising too fast, I'm comfortable with it as long as were getting at least some regular corrections on a day-to-day basis.

We're still just correcting from the year-long bear trap of 2018. Real FOMO has yet to begin. The halving-driven next bubble is still a year or 2 away.

Go Bitcoin go.

This is unsustainable. The price will be under $10k before the end of the year, and stay there until Libra takes over. Bitcoin is done. Short bitcoin.

Yay! Proudhon is back!

Tell us all your stories!

There's so much to tell. Spent some time in China and Russia confirming data and facts about how bitcoin is going to fail. With all the confirmed and trustworthy sources there, it's pretty clear. I was able to confirm about 99% of everything.
Oh shit you're actually bullish?

Don't drink and post.
