21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any new update from Bitcoin Cash? on: February 07, 2018, 12:01:00 PM
Why Bitcoin Cash is so underperformed compare to overall market and Bitcoin itself ?
I remember there's a lot of big name behind Bitcoin cash and many miners backing it.
Any recent development I missed ?  Undecided
In February and May will be hard fork
In the spring there will be several conferences and exhibitions.

22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are u going to buy after this fall? on: February 06, 2018, 09:26:30 AM
I'll buy 100% bitcoin. If bitcoin flies up, as it was in the summer and autumn, the altcoins are cheaper to bitcoin. And then I'll buy cheap altcoins for bitcoin, like it was in November. It's simple.
23  Economy / Economics / Re: Those who have invested in bitcoin when it was 18k-20k$ on: February 06, 2018, 09:12:23 AM
I have a friend who bought bitcoin during this peak season. When the bitcoin price was 18-20k USD. Now he is sad and disappointed seeing that the current price has dropped to 50% and more and he is afraid he is going to lose all. In short he lost his hope and faith in bitcoin already. Has anyone here did the same as he did? If you did invest in that amount what did you do to your bitcoin, did you sell it or still holding it?
I did not buy at 20,000. But I did not sell my investment for 20,000. I think the situations are similar. I have one opinion - hold. Now it's too late to sell. What does it mean: "he is afraid he is going to lose all". Today, the price has already fallen by 60-70%. I do not see any reason to fix the loss and pick up the balance of 30-40%. The price will return to 20 000 dollars and will be higher, only time is needed.
24  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Unfortunately people will learn the hard way that Bitcoin is a Ponzi scheme on: February 06, 2018, 08:53:29 AM
That's because of these topics, I have opinion that the newbies and jr.members should be prohibited to creating new topics and the number of comments per day.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are altcoins still dropping in price on: February 05, 2018, 01:22:56 PM
Altcoins always fall and grow stronger than bitcoin. And the trend of growth / fall of altcoins correlates with bitcoins. Now the altcoins are in the same place where bitcoin - in the ass. But I think we have not seen the bottom yet, everything is just ahead.
26  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How is bitcoin banned in some countries? on: February 05, 2018, 12:33:41 PM
I can't understand how bitcoin gets banned in some countries and not others. Is it possible to still keep trading in bitcoin with an offshore account(exchanging your bitcoin to real currencies in an account abroad)? Are there any legal implications?
In fact, it can not be banned. But the multiple prohibitions of regulators simply complicate the exchange of bitcoins for fiat money: local exchangers are closed, websites are blocked, banks complicate transfers and begin to control them. For those who work with small amounts this does not cause problems.
27  Economy / Economics / Re: Don't worry, the market will not fall forever. on: February 02, 2018, 08:40:13 AM
It's not that the Nasdaq has a cryptocurrency trading pair, it's CME group that enables future contracts trading on bitcoin.
It's a big thing, but it doesn't really help the bitcoin price, I even believe that it could be a really risky thing to the investors.

If a big organization want the bitcoin to fall( for various of reasons, even for buying at a low price), they can do it really easy and at a regulated way, all they need to do is to open a massive amount of short positions against the bitcoin, and they price fall, they don't even need to own any piece of bitcoin to manipulate the price.
I believe the market won't fall because there are massive organizations that are already got involved in the crypto market, such as Advanced Micro Devices that are into the mining gear producing, and Nvidia who also produces mining gears.

You understood me wrong. The launch of crypto funds is not the reason for the market's reversal. I'm just stating the fact that despite the drop in the market, cryptophones are opening and the fall of the market should be seen as an opportunity to strengthen the long position.
28  Economy / Exchanges / Re: HitBTC.com - The most advanced cryptocurrency exchange on: February 02, 2018, 08:23:46 AM
I kept the cappasity tokens on the HitBTC exchange in the amount of 1430 pieces. When I wanted to withdraw tokens from the exchange, I was asked to pay a commission for the withdrawal of 9% = 130 tokens = 52 $. At that time, the token cost $ 0.40. What is this crazy commission for a withdrawal of 9%? The withdrawal lasted 6 days. After that I do not use this exchange.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Receive tokens to MyEtherWallet on: February 02, 2018, 08:13:45 AM
I'm still a newbie to cryptocurrency industry. I recently joined in a few airdrop events. But, still I have 0 tokens available in my MEW wallet. Should I have some Ether on my MEW wallet in order to receive tokens?
No, you do not need to keep the etherium for getting tokens. You need the etherium only for sending tokens from the MEW. Perhaps you don't see the tokens, because they are not yet added to the MEV (after ICO, for example). Use the site https://etherscan.io/ to monitor the receipt of the wallet. You don't need login into the wallet every time.
30  Economy / Economics / Don't worry, the market will not fall forever. on: February 02, 2018, 08:05:10 AM
The fall and collapse of the crypto-currency exchange rates do not scare investors in comparison with December 2017, but rather vice versa - new crypto funds are launched in the US and Europe. Offering the Swedish exchange Nasdaq Nordic exchange-traded note for bitcoin and ETH, Coinshares Group is launching two new funds: "Active" and "Large Cap" . The first offers a fairly aggressive strategy for investing in promising cryptocurrencies, the latter uses a more passive strategy and a wider basket of digital assets.
If you are in a position - hold.
If you have the finest money - buy in parts.
Everything goes to the fact that in May we are expected again the rally
31  Economy / Speculation / Re: Whats Happening?? on: February 02, 2018, 07:57:24 AM
I am little curious now how that bitcoin is falled this much?
it rides massively and didn't looked that it will fall like that, its making me think that will it be able to cross 20,000$ again?
Is it a good time to buy or should just leave it?
If you did not trade, then I recommend buying 40-50%. Take on 8500, it's not for 19 000, they want so of course you can not compare. If you spill to 7000 - buy it. If you spill too much, wait. You believe in the crypt, otherwise you would not be here. If the market turns around - also buy it and it will be the right decision. Think that it's better for you-sleepless nights to catch 2000-3000 and get nervous or at an acceptable level to enter the market, acquire some tools, get acquainted with them, check your thoughts with the market. Bitcoin is not 1000 now. There is no Armageddon. They buy it. Will not fall forever.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins worth small scale mining? on: February 02, 2018, 07:35:16 AM
Is there any alt coin that's worth mining on small scale?
not looking for huge profit, just taking it for learning.
On this site you can see a lot of information: what kind of cryptocurrency you can get, on what algorithm, ROI of mining, equipment for mining and more.

33  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in 2018 on: February 01, 2018, 12:14:42 PM
Bitcoin in 2018 is waiting for a great resistance from the regulators and a large number of prohibitions, but despite this I am confident in the growth of bitcoin. It is enough to look at the growing popularity of cryptocurrency in the world.
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cappasity (CAPP) new Apple?) on: February 01, 2018, 12:08:31 PM
I can't realize why do they need the second phase of a crowdsale while they already have around 3000% of a growth. I guess they have much more funds that they need for developing.
3000% is the increase in the price of tokens, and the developers have an etherium or bitcoin or dollars. Most tokens are in the hands of investors. And the company's tokens are frozen. The company has not collected a lot of money to continue the development, and therefore organize the 2nd phase.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency for passive income? Dividends? on: January 31, 2018, 01:31:22 PM
Hello!

I'm wondering if anyone knows of any longer term cryptocurrencies which would provide a passive income? (like dividends?)

I usually invest long term to allow for the capital saving and a nice % return in dividends... I know cryptocurrencies are quite volatile right now but am wondering if there's anything out there like this?

Thanks! Sarah   Smiley
In your question you will be interested in the masternode.

Masternodes - fully synchronized wallets that are connected to the network 24/7. Their function is to serve the network - from conducting transactions to additional services, such as providing complete anonymity of transactions (transactions are NOT recorded in a block system, for example, in Dash), depending on the technology of individual master codes. For maintenance of the network, the holder of the masternode receives a fixed income.

There are several sites for monitoring the masternodes, here they are:

37  Economy / Economics / Re: When will Apple accept bitcoins? on: January 31, 2018, 01:01:31 PM
Why apple  should take bitcoin? The apple has enough room to create its own block system. Only there must be reasons for openness. Using Apple Pay and Apple Pay Cash company hides personal information on user payments. I don't understand what actions in the business of Apple need openness.

Cappasity (CAPP) new Apple?)
Friends, what do you think? Cappasity has signed a contract with Alibaba and now a good price to enter, I think they will soon grow at least x10...
Interesting information, I just have a small amount of this asset. Next time, attach a link to the official source, this is important.

This news did not even add + 10% to the price.
40  Economy / Economics / Re: why should bitcoin! on: January 30, 2018, 11:43:55 AM
Bitcoin is more practical. He is a standard crypto currency. The most reliable investment in crypto currency is bitcoin and etherium.
