To those of you who own a lot of altcoins, do you all download a wallet specifically for that coin?
I assume those of you that trade on bittrex don't need a wallet since you keep the coins on the exchange right? So for example if you have litecoin, lisk, etc... no wallet is necessary?
Now to those of you who keep coins in wallets, how do you make sure the wallet you download is safe etc? For example, there are tons of coins out there. So say you own like 10 different altcoins. You have 10 different wallets on your computer etc? The other thing is... every altcoin ... let just say in the top 100... they all have wallets that you download specifically for their coin right? The other thing is wouldn't it be complicated since i assume many wallets can be complicated? For example with bitcoin, many ppl use electrum. But for an average computer user, electrum is not exactly that simple to use etc. But let say im looking at coins like this

bytecoin
bitshares
steem
stellar lumens
ark
dogecoin
byteball
nexus
emercoin
So let say i want to buy all of these coins. So i need to download each wallet for each coin right? Now does anyone know if certain wallets are lot complicated to use than others? is there a 12 word phrase like in electrum etc?
But if you get those coins in an exchange like bittrex, i assume no wallet is necessary? But arent there ppl who trade on bittrex but certain coins they cannot get on bittrex? Then what do they do there then?
You should add MyEtherWallet.com to the list, one of the biggest and good around. They let you have whats yours means private keys... and a lot of tokens are held by this wallet . |

There are no reasons to buy ethereum classic... I have never feel attracted by this coin and that is the main reason of why i have never bought it.
Just look at the price.. It has increased only because of pure speculations, everyone who is saying that ethereum classic will be a huge coin, are retards.
It is an useless coin, tell me, does it have any function? is it "usable"? Of course that you can send money with this coin, because you can sell them too..
But it is useless, and that is the main function of this coin.
Its likely a compation of bitcoin to LTC, theres no real reason of being used LTC than the transfers are fasters, because is likely a clon coin of LTC. Both are good ETH and classic one, Id myself hold some til it breaks down. |

I started to be involved in the crypto currency world just this year of July and the price of bitcoin at that time somewhere $1,300 to $1,800 and I wonder why it had a meteoric rise of the price in just 5 months. Would it will be happen to some digital coins also listed in coinmarketcap? Is there any reasons that it was manipulated or anybody behind on how this price dramastically goes up so high?
By supply and demand and marking control from big holders and exchangers, I believe the current price is being manipulated by millionares. |

As I can remember 3year ago while I was hurting for bitcoin from faucets to faucets, I can make up to 500k sats within a week from faucets! And am wondering now if it still so?
Just for micro earnings, some faucets are inside casinos, like bitsler but you gotta be lucky while gambling. |

Hey guys, I am new to this forum. I have been driving myself crazy over which altcoin to invest in for the past few days now. I am between substratum and electroneum. I am open to other suggestions as well. Any way, which coin do you guys think will show the highest percentage increase over the next year?

Substratum is a well known scam, do not invest in the coin. About Elctroneum I have no idea and no personal issues with them. |

In Argentina, a new tax is about to be approved that will charge profits for holding cryptocurrencies with 15% per year. ( Source) This tax applies for everybody that made profits of more than approximately 3.500 USD per year, so everybody that held more than 0,25 BTC in 2017 would be affected. This tax will be possible to be charged retroactively, but it will come into effect on January 1, 2018. So everybody that sells before that date, will not have to pay the tax for profits that have accumulated until that day. Even if you don't believe it: Argentines are a significant Bitcoin holder group. A history of restrictive exchange regulations (the last "restrictive" phase lasting from 2011 to 2014/2015) made many people aware of cryptocurrencies. And at least one of the historical Core contributors is an Argentine. So it's a pretty likely scenario that Argentine holders could move the price a bit. But maybe it's nothing to worry about: They could re-buy at January 1, so they get only charged for profits after that date. Yeah corruption in Argentina is just dumb. It's lastest president Cristina Fernandez left the Argentina in poverty, so now Mauricio Macri (It's current president) made this new law because many people is making profits over BTC in there. I think it just sucks , bitcoin wasn't created by the mean of being centralized. |
