85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Holding is bullshit? on: March 15, 2018, 05:43:51 AM
Totally  depends on the coins you are holding, if you hold coins with little value then there are high chances that they will not grow, or grow very slowly. Hold the right coins and you will stand more chances of making good returns.`

Your job provides you with a constant income source, one that you can depend on, Bitcoin is volatile and high risk. if you dont have an alternative income source then there is no need to quit your jib just yet

Bitcoin is not too complicated for the ordinary folks , its all about ones mentality and desire to learn, and yes of late there has been too much focus on the price than Bitcoin itself, this is a trend fro the greedy. and greed doesn't go far in this business.
92  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buy when market is Red on: March 11, 2018, 08:44:48 PM

True, buying when the market is red gives a trader a rare chance to acquire cryptos cheaply, and if one is patient enough to hold them for long then they stand a chance to sell them at a higher price and make good profits. one however needs to be very careful and choosy on the coins they include in their portfolio. ensure they are worth the money they will cost.

94  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are so many people against bitcoin? on: March 10, 2018, 08:19:35 PM

New technological innovations tend to get lots of negative reactions and rejection, that's what BTC is going through, most still know nothing about bitcoin and relies on social media and government warnings about bitcoin, now we all know that BTC has not received very favorable government and social media treatment, and that explain the panic.most people are not just sure of what BTC is and what its capable of.
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What am I to do? on: March 10, 2018, 12:31:29 AM

There really shouldn't be a cause of alarm on the current Crypto market behavior, its the early stages of price falls and i believe the market being a sleep gives it the chance to grow, your coins will gain value with time so i suggest you just hold till then.
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: do you think younger generation is more open to technology? on: March 10, 2018, 12:28:28 AM

Technology does favor the young as they are more open to trying out and adopting new technological advancements, i however don't think there is a necessity of translating the crypto language. in the long run, its an individual decision to venture into crypto currency. and translation will have very minimal effect in making such decision.

98  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why some country banned bitcoin? on: March 08, 2018, 05:21:31 AM
why some country banned bitcoin?
is there any problem? i know that bitcoin is international crypto currency. but why some country banned this cryto?

most countries consider BTC a threat to their economic growth mostly due to large amounts of transactions that arent taxed. some also see it as a currency that funds illegal proceedings hence terming it illegal.
99  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is BTC the new gold ? on: March 08, 2018, 05:17:20 AM
How many times you heard some question ?
But the time goes by and I've been wondering if it really what a BTC today really is.

As we discuss here in the forum everyday, the main reason for BTC not to be taken seriously as digital money like it was invented are:

- its fee cost for lower transaction
- delay and time of the transaction to be approved
- its price that change constantly up
- it's not designed to accept so many transactions

What do you think ?
Do you hold like you holding the gol a decade ago ?

Bitcoin has faced lots of challenges but its still the Alpha coin, the delays in transactions work against it but im sure it will overcome it with time as improvements to address this will definitely be made. The price changes are however a crypto characteristic that no one has control or influence over so its beyond BTC's control. its still however the best there is in terms of value so it might just be the new Gold.
100  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is It advisable to quit my present job for bitcoin? on: March 07, 2018, 07:51:48 AM

Bitcoin is very lucrative indeed but you must not forget the risks that come with it. Quitting your job for such a volatile market dealings is not the wisest thing to do, if possible Bitcoin should be there to supplement a main income, in as much as it might generate more, but an assured regular income is still needed for stability's sake.
