121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Long term vs. Short term on: February 25, 2018, 01:57:57 PM

Depends on your investment plans and the goals you intend to acheive. short terms are fit for quick money making, not always a profitable but one can acheive and address financial needs within a short time. long term  on the other hand maximizes your returns over a period of time as the initial investment gains value with time and trades for higher profit margins.
122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchange or Wallet? on: February 25, 2018, 12:55:58 PM

wallets provides that extra security needed to protect and keep your coins safe, it also makes it difficult for your activities to be traced, as long as the key is kept safe and private, you can be sure that the encryption in your wallet will keep your crypto safe. exchange on the other hand is prone to hacking as the keys and the currency are held by the exchange company. it the company's security system isn't as good then the currencies stored aren't safe
123  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin affects students' performance in school on: February 25, 2018, 12:40:45 PM

well, Bitcoin affecting students performance is a debatable topic because if the students are involved in cryptocurrency then they aren't dealing in BTC alone, there might be other coins involved and squarely blaming BTC for the drop in grades might not be very fair. on the other hand i think its a good thing that the students have already been introduced to cryptocurrency at that early age. means that they will grow up to become well rounded business men with experience and proper judgment.
124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you truly believe in cryptocurrency on: February 23, 2018, 03:32:23 AM

That seems to be the main problem, the get rich quick notion will disappoint many who ventures int the currency believing they will be millionaires in months, much as its possible, its most unlikely to happen, market prices go up and down and for someone to realize their full returns, it will take time.

127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When Will Ethereum reach 1200 again? on: February 22, 2018, 09:24:11 PM

Price speculation brings about inaccurate information especially when talking about cryptocurrency market which is as volatile. ETH is however a promising potential to become a high valuation.may not be soon but it will even go higher.
128  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is better Trade or Invest? on: February 22, 2018, 09:15:14 PM

129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do with the rewards you received? on: February 21, 2018, 08:36:29 PM

Hold these coins as long as you can, you might just be selling Gold at a peanut price, the market is never predictable, that coin you sold or exchanged might just gain value and earn you better returns than what you would have sold it for
130  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can we help bitcoin grow? on: February 21, 2018, 08:27:02 PM

Any bitcoin investor in a position to help creating bitcoin friendly laws in their respective countries should do so, the biggest hurdle bitcoin is facing is with the legislation in different countries. Facebook being most the most used social media has banned cryptocurrency related promotions and adverts. there is a possibility that there still are people who doesn't know about bitcoin. Spread the word far and wide as you can. and let them know BTC is not a scam

There are a number of factors that determine the value of an alt coin. they include and not limited to:

1: the number of investors and the amount they are willing to pump into the alt coin

2:The perception of the altcoins value by the public

132  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is BTC for you? on: February 21, 2018, 07:37:31 AM

BTC is a get rich investment opportunity to me with valuable lessons on offer. 133  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much risk in bitcoin investement ? on: February 21, 2018, 07:31:30 AM

BTC investment is very risky and so is investing in cryptocurrency as a whole. the market is very unpredictable and unstable, the price today and the the prices tomorrow may represent a very huge difference. thats's why its advisable to only commit the money you can afford to lose. veteran investors however understand that high risk investments often bring back high returns, and that's why they take the chances. do not venture into BTC is you aren't ready to lose.
134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Invest in Ethereum on: February 20, 2018, 09:04:21 AM

Ehereum is a promising digital currency second only to Bitcoin in the cryptocurrency ranks. though relatively expensive compared to other altcoins, Ethereum shows and demonstrates great market potential everyday. it may even overtake bitcoin at the top one day. so if you have the chance and capacity to invest, invest in it, you will not be disappointing.

136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What should we prepare to give cryptocurrencies to our family after we die? on: February 20, 2018, 08:50:23 AM
i think we should keep a record of all he currencies we own and their possible values, wallet passwords along with other investment and keep them in a safety deposit box in a bank vault with clear instructions on who it should pass to in case we die. this way the investment is not only safe but we are also guaranteed that it will pass on to our loved ones.
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you choose your bounty hunt? on: February 19, 2018, 12:25:24 AM

Bounty hunting ranges from simple social media promotions to highly technical bounties. Before joining a hunting campaign., you should consider analyzing and familiarizing yourself with the project at hand. secondly consider the value of the reward, there's no point of getting millions of tokens as a reward if they are worth nothing. you should also be keen on the following clues

1. if a start up has no clearly stated white paper, don't waste your time, find something else to do.
2.if less than $65k is allocated to the bounty program, its probably not worth it.
3.Evaluate the team, do you trust that they will pay your reward?

Time isnt worth wasting on a valueless course, chose wisely how you spend yours
138  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can we survive without Bitcoin? on: February 19, 2018, 12:00:31 AM

Bitcoin is God in the cryptocurrency world, and can be difficult to imagine the crypto world without it, however with altcoins coming in with improved technologies and better transaction platforms, the crypto community can survive without bitcoin, besides, BTC's dominance will not last forever, at some point it will be dethrone by another,

So yes we can. just not yet
139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sending in fake ID for KYC on: February 18, 2018, 11:44:35 PM

One  of the main reasons why Cryptocurrencies is famous and preferred is the fact that it provides anonymity. the documents such as passport and ID, required during verification already goes against one of the integral features of the trading platform,However sending fake ID for KYC seems to be a loophole hackers are exploiting. it also leave s a big concern of=n the security of the users accounts,

I share the same worry, KYC might be the blueprint for the fall of crypto currency.
140  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I keep my BTC now? on: February 18, 2018, 11:26:33 PM

Of couse you should keep them now and any other day, till you feel the prices on offer are fair for you, don't however hold too much and miss an opportunity to make good returns out of it, investments are about returns after all
