Hating Muslims is not an option for me. I don't hate Muslims, as a matter of fact, Muslims constitute about 40 Percent of my very close friends and allies. It is wrong to hate a particular set of people because of their beliefs or religion. You can't use the sins of just a microscopic few to judge an entire clan or set of individuals. Every religion has its extremists and that doesn't mean there are no good folks therein.
62  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why China supports North Korea? on: November 03, 2017, 06:54:04 PM
China supports North Korea in a bid to maintain its dominance and leadership position in Asia and the Korean Peninsula in particular. China has not taken any drastic measure on North Korea because on one hand it want to check the influence of the United states in the region and to also use the North as a bargaining chip against the US and it's allies. Besides, they are neighbours.
63  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you believe the news ? on: November 03, 2017, 03:58:25 PM
I believe the news and I also believe in the editorial independence of a select few media organisations. Most news items are factual and evidential. However, there are so many propaganda in the news but with adequate media literacy it's easy to spot propaganda and fake news
64  Other / Off-topic / Re: what will you do when you are in a bad mood? on: November 03, 2017, 03:41:49 PM
When I am in a bad mood I try to lighten up my mood with good music. Sometimes I try to take a rigorous exercise like soccer or swimming as means of escapism to divert my thought process from what has caused my foul mood. And when it gets really nasty I try to get laid.
65  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Women empowerment? on: November 03, 2017, 01:40:28 PM
Empowering women ought to be given priority because women empowerment spurs economic growth. Half population of the world are women and thus, empowering women to fully take part in economic activities across all sectors is essential to build stronger economies and ensure sustained growth. Women have a very critical role to play in advancing development.

Most definitely, I believe in God.All you need to do is to Look at the world and it's form and begin to imagine. What we have today does not come to being magically, there is a supreme being which made it possible and it is God and God is infinite in all perfections. As an individual, I have seen the manifestations of God in my life and I have no doubt that God exists.
67  Other / Off-topic / Bitcoin's role in money laundering and terrorism on: November 02, 2017, 12:04:02 PM
Bitcoin has been criticised as a currency that lacks supervision and has been used for money laundering and to fund terrorism activities. What in your opinion can be done to bridge the regulatory gap?
68  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin dead? on: November 02, 2017, 10:24:41 AM
Bitcoin is not dead. As a matter of fact Bitcoin is now rising in prominence and it's dominance is becoming more glaring. A Lot more folks are now investing in Bitcoin because it is the future. It is here to stay. Every phenomenon has its ups and downs but from what we can see and experienced, Bitcoin is becoming more entrenched.
69  Other / Politics & Society / Re: impact of social media on: November 02, 2017, 08:09:32 AM
Every phenomenon, just like the social media has its negatives and positives. While the social media has been seen to have negatively impacted on how we now communicate, it is important to stress that it's advantages outweighs it's seeming negative impacts. Social media has brought about connectivity in an unprecedented manner as have never been seen before. What is needed is moderation as to the time spent on the social media. We live in an era of technological perspectives where everything including human communications have gone digital. What individuals and communities need to do is to use these platforms moderately.
70  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is humanity gone? on: November 02, 2017, 06:32:11 AM
Humanity is not gone. There are lots of room for optimism. Most times when we hear of killings and massacres going on in some climes we are tempted to say that humanity is lost. But no, no matter how sane a society is, you must always find mad men. What we need is resilience and continuous insistence on best practice. The world cannot afford to lose its humanity. In the midst of the chaos I believe we can still find a flicker of light. Light will always prevail over darkness.
71  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What do you think of North Korea? on: November 02, 2017, 05:47:42 AM
North Korea is a major threat to world peace. The hermit nation might actually provoke a third world war. The way and manner North Korea keeps testing it's ballistic missiles and the threat of annihilation it is issuing around might turn real too soon. Hence, China and other key players in the region must do more to rein in the North. United nations sanctions must be implemented to the fullest by all parties. North Korea is a ticking bomb.
72  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do people kill for religion? on: November 02, 2017, 05:16:47 AM
It is important to stress the point that people don't kill for religion. Terrorists groups like ISIS, Boko Haram et al use religion as a cover to perpetrate their evil acts. This is because they know that religion appeals to primordial sentiments and they can easily get the sympathy of the adherents of the religion and the followers of the God they claim to be killing for. It is ridiculous and laughable to say they kill for religion because the major known religions preaches peace and condemns taking human life for no just cause. It is a twisted narrative to say that they are killing for religion.
73  Economy / Economics / Re: Future of Bitcoin Economics on: October 30, 2017, 09:09:17 PM
Bitcoin is gradually rising in fame and prominence. It's future is however uncertain because there is a need for a general acceptance and domestication of the cryptocurrency  to give it the much needed legal stature. There is a need to build a serious structure around Bitcoin to make it easy to be adopted generally. Thus the future of bitcoin is still enmeshed in uncertainties
74  Other / Politics & Society / Re: world war III : north korea VS USA on: October 30, 2017, 08:38:42 PM
As much as I agree that Kim might not attack the United States first, it is pertinent to note that Kim's utterances and provocation through the tests of long range missiles might force the US to act. Trump has made it clear and the drills on the Korean Peninsula speaks volume. Either way, the North still does not stand a chance against the US. A war with the north will not be a piece of cake either. There will be casualties on both ends.
