4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can We Finally Call This the DEATH of Bitcoin?!? on: October 01, 2018, 10:21:56 PM
The scammers and crooks finally won! Congratulations because even your fiat will be near worthless at some point too! The economic freedom of the people is once again destroyed by the animalia raised by bad handlers.

To the "Lending" companies (hey man, do you think I can get my money back soon), I salute you.

To Bitmain and "the plan", I salute you.

To Wall Street who always knows my future, I salute you.

To the newbie crypto-millionaires, who only like the part about making easy money, I salute you.

To the lower middle-class who borrowed all the equity in their homes to buy crypto and told everyone about it, I salute you.

To the SEC who will wait until every crypto is worthless to go after anyone, I salute you.

To the old school crypto nerds, who cashed out in 2017 when they saw what was coming, great job!

I still remember the days when getting anything over a 1% yield on a bank account was something to brag about.

One day I will tell my grand kids about the time in 2017 when everyone except politicians were happy and it was a joy to work at any job because you had real money that actually could make you more real money. Time to find the next bubble...
Bitcoin does not end like this. It maybe is abundant and victorious year 2017 but the last quarter of this year has just started.  So we cannot conclude yet the future.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency is a bubble? on: October 01, 2018, 01:32:07 PM
Hello. I want to hear your opinion. Cryptocurrency is a bubble? How long will it last? Is it worth continuing to invest in it?

I can not say crypto currency is bubble...And its been a long years since crypto currency was born but until now crypto currency's are still exist and popular. Yes we all know that crypto currency, as of now suffer long run price dropping but this is a part of the game  and this is normal situations when you are investing your money in crypto currency's.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN accepted for Airline fare and School fee on: October 01, 2018, 06:49:01 AM
I'm a Filipina and there's a lot of posts posted on social media that our local airline,  Philippine Airlines and STI school now accepts Bitcoin. This news will create a stir and this will help spread information that Bitcoin is not scam at all. I know in the future there will be more businesses and companies will accept Bitcoin too.

What's your view on this? Does your country accept Bitcoin too?

You are right this is the proof to all people in the world that bitcoin is accepted as legal tender in different country's. Like this news... in the country of Philippines, the Philippines Airlines and a well known private school the STI are now accepted bitcoin as payment. This is really great and it help to spread the information... and the legality of the bitcoin.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Eth falls on: October 01, 2018, 06:03:04 AM
Eth is now suitable for buying
Current price is $260

For those who wants to invest their money in crypto currency, now is the best time to buy Eth because the price deflates to $260 which very to nice to buy because the price is very low and expect the best profits when the price starting to rise up again.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can you invest in bitcoin without being scammed? on: September 30, 2018, 11:17:19 PM
How can you invest in bitcoin without being scammed? There are people using very fine techniques like selling bitcoin cash in name of bitcoins using confusing websites name. How to be safe from such scams ?

This is the main problem of crypto currency's the scammer's,And its hard to detect scammer's because they are also very clever and wise. That's is why we have to be vigilant before we decide to invest our money in that certain project. We have to research their team and their website if they are active and legits.
9  Other / Archival / Re: EDUCATING PEOPLE ABOUT CRYPTOCURRENCY on: September 30, 2018, 10:20:00 PM
If you take an assessment, a lot of citizens are not yet informative what is cryptocurrency is....like bitcoin and other altcoins. One proof is that others can be deceived by swindlers because of lack of knowledge regarding crypto currencies. . They invest with the wrong people because of considering in unfounded information and hearsays.
Educating people regarding crypto will not make them to mislead. Educators can teach about crypto inside school especially in economic subject/s because it has a big role nowadays.
As Tom Emmer stated, “ People tend to fear what they don’t know. If people sailing the oceans at the time of Columbus had believed the world is flat, we wouldn’t have had the great discoveries of the New World.”

Your information my friend is very important,  yes it's better to teach people about the importance of crypto currency's nowadays. Because we are now engaging in virtaual money currency and many people did not know about crypto currency. In school it's to better to have a new curriculum about teaching the students about the information of crypto currency so that they will learned and prepared to use crypto currency's in the future.
10  Economy / Speculation / Re: Santa Green in BER months (October to December) on: September 30, 2018, 09:06:59 PM
The bitcoin dominant and price haven't or have not yet as bullish as last year and soon it might be the case.

I'm positive and an optimistic human being who intentionally thinking about a small increase as a sign.

Don't look at me as your typical investor who only believes in bitcoin in its time when having a good performance, I do trust it the whole year round.

So buckle up guys and deeply breath, Santa bitcoiners is coming to town.

We are all happy about this improvement,  because we much more expected and believe that this coming bear month the price value of crypto in the market are starting to moving up. That is why must prepare about this main event's and expect to gain big amount of profits.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stop Crying about Crypto! on: September 30, 2018, 02:49:42 PM
What is the famous saying....."If you can't handle the heat get out of the kitchen."

There are so many people crying about the recent dip of BTC that I'm frankly getting annoyed. You should know the risk involved in investing in crypto. If not, don't even waste your money. Go buy a CD that won't make more than the rate of inflation. Remember investing is literally legalized gambling. Treat it as such or don't even jump in the pool.

Yes you are right,  I agree with your saying. Because Investment in crypto currency it's a choice of your  decision making that you can make it, no matter how risk the situation is coming... the important thing is you can manages it very well...
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: IS IT BAD TO CHOOSE BITCOIN AND BITCOINTLAK FORUM OVER MY GRADUATION CEREMONY? on: September 30, 2018, 01:47:41 PM
Fellow commrades,
It just happened that my graduation ceremony out of college was some few weeks ago but yet I did not attend this ceremony because i needed to watch over my investments in cryptocurrency and also engage in activities of this noble forum. My parents think i am a SCAMMER right now because i am always with my laptop and chatting online. I wish i could explain things to them further but it seems they have already taken side just like the haters of the crypto community out there. But come to think of it guys crypto is helping me a lot and this is where my investments are not some white collar job so was it wrong for me to have stayed home and watched over my investments in the crypto community? Please help because my conscience is really making me feel guilty now but I know i did the right thing.

Well it's your decision my friend to not attend your graduations because you'r keep on busy spending your time to monitor the price value of bitcoin in the market because you invest your money in bitcoin and you want to earn more money. And it's all ready done so just move on and continue to focus your investment in crypto currency.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think that the HODL approach is good bitcoin? on: September 30, 2018, 12:57:17 PM
Do you think that the HODL approach is good bitcoin?
Sometimes I think that because so many people HODL it makes is easier for some big players to manipulate the price.

I wonder what the community think about it.
I personally HODL for almost a year, I made some money and lost some money, But generally, I'm positive about the long run. I'm just curious about the fact that maybe we are the one who make it possible for big companies to influence the price in such an easy way

Actually we decided to  hold because we see the price value in the market is not so good and we are aiming fruitful profits. And this is the best strategies that we apply for this scenarios to protecting our money for the loses.
14  Economy / Economics / Re: Why I am quitting ICO's on: September 29, 2018, 11:14:40 PM
I decided to quit ICO's. From December till now I invested about 5 eth into several ICO's. Invest what you can miss, this is what was able to miss.

Right now the first few of my ICO's have reached the exchanges. Most are under performing, but this is related to the overall dip (can be read everywhere). I understand, but ICO token economics have changed also.

  • massive hardcaps
  • most is sold in pre-sale to big investors, leaving scraps for crowdsale
  • much attention to marketing, less to working product or realistic time lines
  • immediately available on EtherDelta and IDEX, sure sign of little interest in token economics/future
  • no lock on pre-sale tokens, whales take their x2, x3 or x-whatever as soon as possible (I would probably have done the same). Prices drop to below ICO price.
  • too many ICO's without distinctive differences.
  • too many ICO's in general
  • too much tokens reserved for team/marketing
  • many ICO's don't even have a crowdsale anymore (which perhaps is a good thing as the little investors are protected this way)
  • ICO prizes are quite high. 1eth = 1000/4000 tokens is pretty common, but with a hc of 40 million, this will not easily go x10 or more.

I was 'unlucky' to miss out on a few ICO's besides the ones I was able to participate in. Afterwards I am glad, since I was able to pick most up at a fraction of the ICO price.

Important as ever: DYOR as not all ICO's have a genuine solution to a genuine problem. Some may seem like a fantastic solution, but often it is marketing combined with a strong team, and not so much a great working product.

And who am I? I am definitely a nobody Tongue, but still wanted to share my experiences and perhaps save people from thinking of getting on board of the next x100 ICO Smiley

p.s. when a Telegram has over 20k subscribers all screaming 'when lambo' with endless rows of animated gifs, you may also wonder if this is a serious block chain solution which will revolutionize 'x' Smiley

Some people think to quitting ICO because their are a lot ICO are not legit. They are scared to invest their money for the reason they don't want to lose their money.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto like a fulltime job on: September 29, 2018, 10:36:15 PM
I don’t mind that a lot of people are everyday here. Our trying to be rich is clear and the majority of us are ready to make crypto our fulltime job. Of course, it could not be so easy at the beginning but I am sure that the amount of participant on the cryptomarket will be grown so much in the future it just needs in becoming more popular and so many organizations will lose their employees because of crypto. I think that it is the one more reason of crypto’s being banned. Are you ready to give up your job to be here or not?

Yes,  crypto is a full time job because you need a time to keep on monitoring the price status in order for you to know the price inflation in the market. And crypto is very advantages  in terms of income because you can get a big amount of money.
16  Economy / Speculation / Re: Hodl or sell right now ? on: September 28, 2018, 11:51:10 PM
Will you hold bitcoin for bull market or you will sell it now ? Bitocoin as well as other altcoins are in green at the moment and this week is proving out to be a better week for crypto world so are you gonna sell all your bitcoins before there is any further market drop or you will hold it for bull market if it happens this year ? Or else you would like to sell Joe and reinvest when price dips again ?

For me it's better to grab this opportunity because we don't know tomorrow the price will going back to red in the market again. And this is how we are going to handle our investment in crypto currency if we want earn profits.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Learn from your mistakes on: September 26, 2018, 11:15:44 PM
Every mistake has its lessons. When you make a mistake, there are three things you should do: admit it, learn from it and do not repeat it.
Ever since i had been in this space, i have only been used to bitcoin, ethereum, NEO, waves, tokens that use their platform and some other very common coins, but just this week was my first time of transacting fully on XLM platform.
I got a token that uses the platform of Stellar (XLM) and i was able to trade the token into XLM on their decentralized exchange.
My mistake came in when i was about to transfer the XLM, to be traded into BTC on another exchange.
I thought the process of transfer would be the one i had been used to, not knowing that i was supposed to include a "MEMO".
I eventually transferred it, waited for hour, but found nothing.
I was bothered.
It was in that process i got to know that memo was to be included. That was my mistake.
I admitted i had made the mistake.
The lesson i learnt is to always study every thing first (both new and old, because old things can still change), before jumping into it.
This mistake i have made up my mind to never repeat again.

I AM SHARING THIS FOR YOU TO LEARN FROM MY MISTAKES AND FROM YOURS.

Thanks for your audience.

Yes you are right,  mistakes is one way to gain a success because you have learned from it.... through failures that you have committed.  And its served you as a guide to give ways if you done something wrong again especially when it comes to decision making.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NO! Do Not Invest all you have on Bitcoin and Cryptocurrencies on: September 25, 2018, 11:46:02 PM
I have read several posts on this forum where people have claimed to have invested all the money they have on Bitcoin, I also read a post where a guy claimed to have used all the $20,000 his uncle gave him to also invest in Bitcoin, some even sold their landed property. The reason for these risks and others is the firm believe that Bitcoin would be $50,000 - $100,000 by the year 2019 or thereabout.

First, I must say that I admire the courage and high risk appetite of such persons. But, I must also warn.
Yes, It is good for everyone to have high hopes for Bitcoin, and also hope it gets to 100k USD in future, but you should also consider a safety factor in anything you do including investing.

Mathematically,

DO NOT Assume,
P(Success of future term) = 1 ; and
P(Failure of future term) = 0

This implies that, you must always leave a little fraction for probability of failure which in this case is the safety factor, no matter how little the fraction may be. Simply put, you don't have absolute control of what happens to Bitcoin and Cryptocurrencies in the future.

Invest wisely, only invest what you can afford to loose

Just a piece of advice.

What are your own suggestions?

Investment in bitcoin is very nice especially in getting a big amount of profits.  But you have to be vigilant also before you decide, just make a planned because investing in bitcoin is just like a game you have to apply a stragical action.  Do not invest your money if you think that is so risky. Just do a research so that you will be guided to the right direction.
19  Economy / Economics / Re: Simply predict the future of bitcoin on: September 25, 2018, 08:51:34 PM
According to the k-line of 2011-2017, the major bull markets are basically those that rise after a super rally and then go back a year to two years later.

When should the chance of tuen mun be this time?

Feel like there's a half-year down period?

While history will not simply repeat itself, shouldn't the bull market come so soon?

The ICO bubble is pretty bad.

Bitcoin can survive this year even if a lot of people think that there is no recovery that might happened this year. Because I always believed the potentiality of bitcoin that can go back to green day by the end of this year, this is my opinion of my insight the future of bitcoin.
20  Economy / Economics / Re: DO NOT SELL! JUST HODL - You've not loss any money if you haven't sold. on: September 25, 2018, 01:32:38 PM
Bitcoin dipped to 7500$ and i think now it is danger zone could go to 3000$-4000$ again.
Good chance for newcomers, sorry for those who bought bitcoin at 18,000$ an 11,000$ Cheesy

What do you think? How low bitcoin can go?

Just hodl it

Yes,  we all know about the critical measures when bitcoin price in the market drops to the lowest level and some of us are going to be panic because they think that the price value of bitcoin can not recover, which is wrong. Bitcoin price value is volatile and its normal to bitcoin encountered price inflation and deflations so be wise and clever to handle your investment in bitcoin if you want to earn more profits for the future.
