9  Economy / Economics / Re: Are cryptocurrencies better than regular currency on: October 31, 2017, 12:15:47 AM
That is like asking which is the best looking house in a bad neighborhood. I can’t say that I think cryptocurrency is better than fiat currency. Both are just a promise, and like bitcoin, many of our dollars do not physically exist either, they are digital.

I was reading an interesting article this morning by David Smith of the Morgan Report, and he was addressing this subject.

As David Morgan has said when referring to precious metals of late, “it will wear you out or scare you out” because of their sideways actions for the last several years, people are losing interest. But I always say, do what other are not doing, take advantage of the lower prices in precious metals.
10  Economy / Economics / Re: Gold: Should We Cash Up or Dive In? on: October 31, 2017, 12:07:03 AM
Bitcoin should have the properties of money which include limited supply, durability, portability, divisibility, uniformity, acceptability, and fungibility. Bitcoin should have the fastest confirmation times technologically possible and it should be private as fungibility implies. If Bitcoin has a limited supply then it will essentially maintain its value like gold. I do not know what proponents mean when they claim they want Bitcoin to be gold. It is important to mention that Bitcoin transactions are all available on the blockchain and it must have privacy to become the currency of the future.
11  Economy / Economics / Re: Future of Bitcoin Economics on: October 30, 2017, 11:49:34 PM
It sure does make sense! Two years ago Bitcoin was at around £300-£400 mark, and of course today at the time of writing this it’s valued at around £1,026 per Bitcoin. So the growth within the year has been incredible.

Of course, as with any investment (if you intend to use Bitcoin as an investment vehicle) you need to go in with your eyes open. So what I mean by that is actually understand the technology at more than just surface level. Understand what you’re buying into! By doing that it’ll help you make up your own decision as to whether you believe in the technology, and whether you should invest or not.

The recent Winklevoss ETF decision, which was a rejection, showed how Bitcoin is maturing from a value stand point. A decision such as that a few years ago could’ve crashed the value a lot more, however many were pretty surprised as to the effect it had. The value didn’t drop as much as people were expecting. Just so you’re aware there has been discussions of a potential Bitcoin Hard Fork, which will almost certainly effect Bitcoins value, but we don’t know which way that’ll go yet. As I mentioned, Bitcoin is constantly maturing!

If you look at any negative global political event, it generally has increased Bitcoins value. A recent event that comes to mind is where citizens in India were limited to the amount they could withdraw from banks, that helped increase Bitcoin value as well as user numbers in India.

As a technology it’s important to know that Bitcoin is constantly evolving, and new users are getting turned onto Bitcoin all the time. I actually just read a piece today that Bitcoin users are generally doubling every 12 months which is only good news for the ecosystem.

But back to investing, if you’re investing for the long-term which is what I’m doing, I feel it’s a good move. You could even spread your investments over a period of time, should you not feel comfortable in investing a large amount up front (I made a YouTube video on that at this link: My Bitcoin Investment Strategy: Dollar Cost Averaging), at least that way you have skin in the game, and continue to involve yourself more in the ecosystem.

Some notable guys to check out when it comes to Bitcoin value predictions are the following: Vinny Lingham, Trace Mayer, and Max Keiser. There are quiet a few people out there who have made pretty accurate Bitcoin value forecasts over time.

Hope that helps! Smiley
12  Other / Off-topic / Re: how to be positive on: October 30, 2017, 11:36:00 PM
Be super-focused on the quality of your delivery.
Next, be very focused on timely delivery.
Next, understand that the people criticising your work have different expectations from what is being delivered. Knowing this fact is a good baby-step towards improvement. Right now, they are criticising the work, not you. If you don’t improve, then it might become personal.
Understand the expectations-delivery gap with an open mind. By open mind, I don’t mean to ask you to become a yes-man. Try to have a healthy dialogue with them, explain your logic behind your work and accept where their logic seems to be better.
Keep re-visiting points 1, 2 & 3
You will realise that the only way to be positive is by constantly looking for ways to improve your work, liking your work and treating criticism as an “area of improvement” rather than “failure”
13  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do Love really exist ? on: October 30, 2017, 11:25:58 PM
I think it depends on how you define it.  There is the early stage of romantic love that is all fireworks and flowers.  If things work out it becomes the later stage of love where you can't imagine life without that person and you are willing to give things up so that he or she can gain from it and that is mutual.
14  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you believe all muslims are bad? on: October 30, 2017, 11:16:40 PM
I heard many people saying we should not criticize Muslims (the people), but to criticize only Islam (the ideology). But can an ideology have any effects upon the physical world without the people who practice it? Guns do not kill people. People kill people. And especially people with bad ideologies in their mind kill people. So, in my opinion, a man who follows or is an adept of a bad ideology is a bad person.
15  Economy / Economics / Re: Why people scam on: October 30, 2017, 11:06:43 PM
They think it is easy money.

It is a human instinct to seek methods to get an advantage without doing any work.

Now we have money it has followed through to that.

Look at questions on Quora, I answered one yesterday, ‘How can I get money on the internet doing nothing.

16  Economy / Economics / Re: When is the right time to buy bitcoin ? on: October 30, 2017, 11:00:05 PM
You can buy anytime.

Though Bitcoin is highly volatile and its price fluctuates a lot on every news which comes out and is related to it.

But i’m still very bullish on it. But please make a rule of thumb for investment in cryptocurrencies. Invest the money which you are ready to lose and don’t invest the money which you need in short time.

If you are interested in buying cryptocurrencies, you can visit www.CoinSwitch .co. CoinSwitch is a cryptocurrency and altcoin exchange aggregator. They support over 100 cryptocurrencies and more than 4500 pairs to exchange.
17  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Are you in favor of same sex marriage? on: October 30, 2017, 10:50:53 PM
Absolutely against it. I’ve never had a same sex marriage, don’t want one now, can’t imagine wanting one in the future. To me, they are like persimmons; some people like them but I sure don’t.
18  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What is the Meaning of Sin? on: October 30, 2017, 10:40:33 PM
Sin is described in the Bible as transgression of the law of God (1 John 3:4) and rebellion against God. As a Christian, I would say this.
19  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Burning of Money on: October 30, 2017, 10:23:03 PM
Yes, lol

Bitcoin is here to say, and a lot of people are going to get burned.

Same as any other new technology.  Tons of people got burned by dot-com stocks, biotech, personal computers, and railroads.
