It is still profitable.  Depends on your definition of efficiency I suppose.  There are other things to mine that may be better options right now.

You can still do much worse than XZC.

what is the best option? XLR?

yeah XLR is cool for now but diff jumped up lately...i used to make 15$ per card now 11$.........................

Can I ask you what pool and miner are you using?

pool: https://umine.org
miner for gpu: ccminer_x64 bat line is as follow  /ccminer.exe -a xevan -o stratum+tcp://s.umine.org:3739 -u SXW9gq5mkzocAKdxy4CNZpo4mUpVw59fjQ -p c=XLRX/
miner for cpu: cpuminer-multi-rel1.3.1-x64 /cpuminer-gw64-avx2 -a xevan -o stratum+tcp://s.umine.org:3739 -u SXW9gq5mkzocAKdxy4CNZpo4mUpVw59fjQ -p c=XLRX/

but not as profitable as few days ago......as i said 10-11usd/day/card
102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080Ti Specific - Best mining option on: January 01, 2018, 04:58:32 PM
Sparks, Crowd Coin, Zcoin, Bitcore, Luxcoin, Smartcash, Verge, DGB, Zclassic, Altcommunity, Hush, Solaris, Desire, GoByte, VIVO look good.

yeah totally agree those are best options right now

Which ccminer is best for XZC? and which -i setting?

xzc not efficient no more.....
105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080Ti Specific - Best mining option on: December 31, 2017, 11:57:07 PM
buy more 1080ti now or wait for next nvidia generation?

I have been pondering the same question as it seems the prices of 1080ti's seem to be creeping up and up.

ofcourse they are cuz not many left for sale in the world...

ZCL is on fire now....anyone mining it yet? Pool? Results?

Is it usefull to overclock memory too for XZC mining ?

absolutely my mem settings are 500 (thats on msi 1080ti gaming X - which is manufacture overclocked) ALSO if you are using older MB set up your virtual mem to at least 16GB!

How do you earn only by OC mem too ?

My GPU settings for XZC mining are as follow:

GPU MSI 1080 ti GAMING X
MB Taichi X370
CPU Ryzen 7
RAM Corssair DDR4 2700MHz 16GB single bank
SSD Kingston 128GB

Afterburner settings:

Core Voltage -50mV
Power Limit -20%
Temp. Limit 70C
Core Clock +230MHz
Memory Clock +500MHz
Fan speed 40%

With this settings the rig containing 7GPUs is stable, cool&quite and using 1500W worth of energy mining ZXC and earning about 1ZXC/day

I hope that answer satisfies your quests

Whats your hashrate with that settings?

Well thats a funny question because hash rate varies from card to card.....Despite they a all the same and with absolute identical settings and everything, my best card returns back about 3300 kH/s and above,  and my worst one about 3230 kH/s and it wont go more because crashes the system....strange - I guess its just like humans - one better than other Smiley))

Is there any other pool except miningpoolhub that worths trying? I'm having 6 1080Ti's on this pool, with similar hashrate to yours and getting about 0.55 XZC / day.

If you're getting about 1 XZC / day with 7 cards, would love to know where are you mining.

I have two rigs one is 7 cards one is 3 cards total 10. I use MPH it is best so far for XZC

xzc gives back roughly 10usd/card/day - today especially after the hard fork on bittrex it surpassed 100usd barrier for couple of hours....can you point to a more profitable coin?
Verge (x17) will give more then 15$/day if you have big farm and can mine solo. If you are using zpool you'll get 12$/day. All for gtx1080ti
how many 1080tis is big enough to solo mine?
50

it depends on what you mine (different difficulties) but I would say at least 100 cards.....ofcourse you can go solo even with one GPU but you wont find a block forever......

Can anyone show me the setting msi for Zcoin of 1080ti ? I had msi armor

I use 80 power, 90 core and 300 memory, is that ok?
no, because zcoin is not the most profitable coin to mine now

smile on my face

on my too...

Yah difficulty is creeping up there for XZC.  It is tough to give up on it as the power consumption and configuration is a plus as pointed out by betiteh0777.  XZC seems like a good potential candidate to hold long term to me.  I'm curious to see where it is in 1+ years.

I have a ryzen 1700 am tempted to try mining XZC with it if it is profitable.  I really have no idea what cpu miner client to use for Ryzen and lyra2z.

For lyra2z and Ryzen cpu mining I use cpuminer-opt-3.7.7 and inside the zip file there are 6 potential miners you can choose from depending on your hardware configuration. I use cpuminer-4way.exe for my Ryzen 7 rig and cpuminer-aes-avx2.exe for my Ryzen 5 rig

I have one rig with 7 cards on it and another one with 3 under construction.....far away from solo mining....
12$/day is not bad. What about the energy consumption with Verge? Zcoin is extremely low consumption orientated, hardware stays always cool&quite. Also I use my two Ryzen's for mining XZC returning profit of about 1/2 card per day...

how many btc per Mh/s are you guys getting on zcoin?
zcoin is not profitable comparing to other coins (nist5, keccak, lyrav2, neoscrypt, equihash based). Also it has problems with staled shares. Don't trust calculators, you'll get only half or less then expected.

Yeah sure with 5x1080ti MSI & 16MH/s on Zcoin I do average about 50USD/day or 10usd/card/day (self experience not calculator data), so can you let me know what other coin can do that at the moment CONSTANTLY? Please don't point me all these nist5 and neoscrypt algo related coins which now are dollars and in few hours pennies......

Sorry for my $0.02: you are using wrong miner and wrong driver. Therefore you are loosing approximately 18+% of hashing power  and profit (according to my calculations).

You have to use ccMiner 2.2 fork by Nanashi Meiyo-Meijin For MonaCoin Mining miner: just download it and rename to ccminer-x64.exe if necessary (f.e. minerwatcher.com service which I use requires it).

Driver also should be the latest: 388.59 gives the most hashrate in Lyra2re2 I've seen so far.

The miner I use is best for algo lyra2z not for -a lyra2re2 I do mine Zcoin which uses lyra2z. I use 23.21.13.8859 from 05/12/2017 NVIDIA driver already now (as you suggested) but don't see any major difference in hashrate in compare to  NVIDIA driver version 23.21.13.8843 from 27/11/2017

Which miner is more efficient for Nvidia cards, Multipool miner, Awesome miner of Nemosminer? MPH's FAQ has all 3 but it does not indicate which may be better than the other or better suited for each architecture

I doubt any multi-miner which automatically switch altcoins to btc on small portions will be efficient with current btc fees......for example today, I needed 200USD cash out from my exodus btc wallet and been asket 45usd transfer fees ------->>>>>> tahts insane!!
119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POOL] Mining Pool Hub - Multipool. Multialgo, Auto Exchange to any coin. on: December 11, 2017, 05:54:24 PM
What I'm going to do now is to mine Monacoin here on MPH for three days, then on suprnova for 3 days and then I'll compare average hashrates and profits.

Bad approach. If you want to compare 2 pools, you have to mine in parallel. Otherwise, the results are not comparable as the net difficulty in 4-6 days can be completely different from days 1-3!

You are right, I have not considered difficulty  change.
I'll do next: I'll run two instances of ccminer with 2 GTX 1070 each: 1. MPH, 2. Suprnova
24 h should be enough to make conclusions.

Please keep us updated on your test
Thanks

Sure, I'm already running the test. I'll update you tomorrow.
It would be nice if someone else could also run a similar test just to get statistics. As admins mentioned earlier (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=472510.4840), this is a known issue, but some users do not experience it.
I'm using tpruvot ccminer 2.2 and 372.54 nvidia driver. I wonder if it can be miner/driver versions dependent.

I have tested suprnova it worked out immediately - online pool hashrate catched up the miner speed for 1min after launched!!! Then even surpassed a little and after that it went equal with the miner speed

I use ccminer-x64-2.2.3-cuda9 and NVIDIA driver version 23.21.13.8843 from 27/11/2017

Now there is new NVIDIA driver from 07/12/2017 but I can't decide do I want it or not, because finally I see what I should see.....

Hi, how are you viewing your hashrate on the pool? I've just starting mining lyra2v2 and wanted to check it's working ok.

Sorry if this is such as n00b question, I've checked the MPH FAQ, my balance page is blank, and am out of ideas  Huh

EDIT: Ok, I've waited a little longer now and some vertcoin ia showing up in my balance, it would still be nice to view the hashrate somehow. Smiley

-a lyra2z

OK will do inform how it goes tomorrow

Can you do Lyra2Rev2 instead (vertcoin, monacoin)? This is the one we are having problems with at the moment.

Sure will switch to Lyra2Rev2 coin and see how it goes on Suprnova....so far Lyra2z is stable with online hashrates near to equal the miner hashrate
