241  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 2 DragonMint T1 16 TH/s miners w/ PSUs $800/0.13BTC Each on: July 05, 2018, 02:11:44 AM
My second T1 from Farmer was delivered yesterday and has been hashing without problem since then! Shipping was quick and they even worked with me to get it delivered before I went out of town for the 4th.
242  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] Custom Firmware for Antminer S9 & S9i on: July 01, 2018, 06:02:50 PM
Any details about why your firmware is better than the stock firmware? Are you offering to make custom firmware?
243  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: 17.2TH/s, 1570W Innosilicon announces the most powerful and efficient BTC Miner on: June 28, 2018, 07:48:32 PM
Ahh, gotcha. Missed that part. Innosilicon should definitely hire -ck, the software for the T1 is great (in my usage), especially compared to the software on the Inno A4+.
244  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTB Antminer z9 mini on: June 28, 2018, 07:07:12 PM
Did you use escrow?

Edit: Find it weird you just offered to buy someone else's Z9 for $1800 but sold your own machine here for $1600...
245  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: 17.2TH/s, 1570W Innosilicon announces the most powerful and efficient BTC Miner on: June 28, 2018, 06:46:06 PM
Whats interesting is that, as I understand it, CK wrote the firmware/software for the T1 but not the T2.

If they're the same company, why not have CK do both?

Can confirm receipt of my T1 and MyRig PSU from Farmer. It has been hashing without a problem for ~24 hours now and is meeting factory specs on factory mode!
247  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [ GROUP BUY ] INNOSILICON Terminator 2 (T2) Bitcoin Miner [17.2TH/s] on: June 26, 2018, 05:40:21 PM
Assuming price of BTC stays stagnant and 7% increase in difficulty/mo, these won't pay themselves off for over a year! Innosilicon really needs to get realistic with their pricing.
248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Litecoin Difficulty Vs. Price on: June 26, 2018, 05:35:38 PM
With the continued drop in LTC-USD price, we're finally seeing sustained drops in LTC difficultly as many miners are starting to run at a loss. This could actually be a combination effect with some miners underclocking their machines to cope with the summer heat/increase their efficiency.

LTC difficulty is currently ~7.3% off its peak, with a further ~+5% (to 9.9M) decrease projected for the next retarget!

Assuming price stays below $100/LTC, how low do you think difficulty could drop? I'm thinking 9M is going to be the floor, as summer heat really starts to peak and those who kept their machines running in the hopes of a price pump start shutting them off.

Interesting to see how the difficulty kept exploding from March to the start of June, despite the pretty much sustained decrease in LTC price, as the result of Bitmain just s******g out units.

Data from BitInfo Charts shown below, with projected difficulty coming from Litecoin

249  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [2.5+ EH] Slush Pool (slushpool.com); World's First Mining Pool on: June 26, 2018, 01:10:01 AM
Your daily average is 13.4 TH/s so that’s pretty darn close to right on the money. Scoring hash rate does tend to vary in real-time, but you should only really pay attention to variance from expected hash rate on the 1 hr and longer time periods.
250  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [PriceDrop] Buy it now: 4 DragonMint T1 16 TH/s miners w/ PSUs $800/0.12BTC Each on: June 24, 2018, 12:14:38 AM
Congratulations? Definitely one for the ignore list.

I definitely would avoid BitMiner. After he randomly left me negative feedback I looked through their trust/post history and... theres something wrong with them mentally.
252  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [PriceDrop] Buy it now: 4 DragonMint T1 16 TH/s miners w/ PSUs $800/0.12BTC Each on: June 23, 2018, 05:01:12 AM
I know the first one is the hardest and someone has to give you a chance. I'm sure adding some pics of the remaining units would help with sales, especially since you've got them priced well.
253  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [PriceDrop] Want them sold: 5 DragonMint T1 16 TH/s miners w/ PSUs $4000/0.60BTC on: June 22, 2018, 08:11:26 PM
Funds have been sent to OgNasty as escrow for the purchase of one T1 from FarmerGreene2. Will update this thread upon shipment and receipt of the miner.

Edit: I have received tracking info for both the T1 and its PSU.
254  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: DragonMint T1 16TH/S halongmining.com on: June 22, 2018, 08:08:58 PM
I'm seeing about 28k HW errors per board over a 24 hour period on the Factory tune. Seeing 16.3 TH/s average over the same period on Slush so its hashing appropriately.

Just wondering if that number of HW errors are in line with expectations/other user's experiences.
255  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: The Squeeze is comin! [official thread for panicking] on: June 22, 2018, 01:01:52 PM
This is a great time to change out your units for more efficient/powerful ones. I'm slowly upgrading my 741's to the 8's and picking up some T1's. These difficulty increases still suck tho, and it hurts to spend my BTC at such a low exchange rate.
256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Room heating with a mining rig. on: June 22, 2018, 12:46:57 PM
Fair point, I was referring more to the eth portable heater OP mentioned. I used my S7-LN (first asic I owned) to heat the upstairs of my townhouse through a Utah winter. Very effective, but the S7-LN is super quiet. Couldn't imagine heating a living area with an S9 or a T1 lol. An L3 perhaps with the fans around 2200 rpm. I'm using an L3 at 462 MHz to heat my GF's cubicle. Under around 2400 rpm and its not really noticeable at all. Can talk at normal volume.
257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Room heating with a mining rig. on: June 22, 2018, 12:03:29 PM
It could, but it could also contribute to IoT hell as a poorly secured device. Then again, its probably worse if a hacker somehow uses it to set your house on fire.

On a more practical level, I'd assume it would require a wifi chip as well since you wouldn't want to run an ethernet cable anywhere you want to use your portable heater.

Don’t know how were going to coordinate this purchase with the escrow without pm’s. You might want to consider a copper membership
259  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain Announces the Antminer R4 and APW5 Power Supply, Designed for Silence on: June 21, 2018, 05:23:05 PM
Definitely look out for R4's with charred 6-pin connectors. I've seen a couple being sold on eBay with burned up connectors as being in great condition...

How does 0.12 sound to you?
