I am pretty sure that kraken leverage works differently. if you have 500 euro in your account and want a 2500 euro position with 5:1 leverage you have to actually put in an order for 2500 euro worth of bit oin and select 5:1.
if you put an order for 500 euro worth of bitcoin, that is the position you will receive. If you select leverage 5:1 with it, it means that only 100 euro from your account is used as margin for this position.

yes, the 10k per day counts for all withdrawals together. you can either withdraw 10k in fiat OR in crypto, or some combination...
hast anyone had any success in getting the limit raised recently? I have been trying for weeks to get approved for a limit increae, unfortunately no feedback.... support just tells me that the matter has been escalated to the relevant department and that I should stop sending emails.... :/

Ich trade viel auf https://quoinex.com/, dafür gibt es ja leider noch keine importer. (der support meinte mal, es soll einer gebaut werden) wie kann ich mir denn anders behelfen? der csv importer scheint mit dem format der datei schwer klarzukommen, ich hab es jedenfall nicht hinbekommen, da sinnvoll zu inportieren. sie stellen in ihrer .csv auch verschiedene trades underschiedlich dar. (margin, spot, open, closed)....  |

The support team for this site seems to be backlogged massively (like many sites during this boom it seems...).
I am trying to get verifierd for like 2-3 weeks now, I have uploaded my passport/ documents etc a couple times. There always seems to be some error, and the only response from support is usually a message saying that it will take longer to respond....
very frustrating!

I am sorry, I do not understand what else they need. I have uploaded it all to the website. Should I send it via email? They have mulitple scans of my passport, mit ID card and Selfies with my passport there. Oh yea and they have a scan of a utility bill (probably multiple times by now, too). Pleas explain what else they need me to do??? |

I wouldn't call that scamming. Their margin trading facility is not intended to deliberately cheat on customers; it's simply a "quick and dirty" hack, with all the bugs and shortcomings that belong to it. Simply don't use it. well yes, I agree, I just realized I might even have come out ahead if you include past trades... still pretty ridiculous though that they don't even tell you about the problem or aknowledge it. Imagine you wanted to use this to hedge a large trade for example... What a huge mess! |

I have checked some old orders, it seems like the longs are done correctly, and this problem only arises with shorts?

Any plans to make margin trading finally a bit useful at cex ? I mean currently you can only close the whole position at once (1) and only at market price (2). This is absolutely horrible and every sane exchange would forbid every user to do such a rubbish  So margin trading is in fact just dangerous and not any benefit to anyone yet. yeah I agree, those two things are pretty annoying. Also I am having trouble understanding how the profit/loss from margin trading is calculated. Maybe somebody here can help me, I just closed a small position: Position # Open date Close dat Type Leverage Amount Margin Open price Close price Stop loss Fee P/L

When I calculate this the profit is: (6110.571-6074.6781)*0.14 - 0.58 = 4.45 Then WHYYYY does it say profit: 2.77 I think I am going cazy..... |

it really is rediculous, I have been trying to get a simple buy order through for 2 days now... no luck. the other day I had another series of errors, gave up and closed the site. came back a couple hours later to find that my order had misteriously been executed.... I am a little scard to trade there now, do I have to sit in front of the screen for 3 hours to be sure, in case I get an error again (very likely)  |
