There will be 7 million plus+ coins to be dumped anyway, it's good for the coin for distribution. But if you are an investor like me, it is not a good time to buy. Price will be below 1000 sat this week since there will no more new things to happen until next week, no more false hope to cling to.
This market is very fast and may be .... in a few days, a new coin without POW similar to Supercoin take his place. |

I would like to draw your attention to this part of the ANN post: Quote - Total PoW coins will be 18.2 millions. - Total coins (including PoS) will be about 50,000,000. And these parts of the source code: Code: if (dAmount <= 0.0 || dAmount > 150000000.0) Code: static const int64_t MAX_MONEY = 150000000 * COIN; static const int64_t POW_MAX_MONEY = 50000000 * COIN; MAX_MONEY is pretty much what it sounds like. This means that the actual maximum supply of SuperCoin is 150 million, not 50 million. Furthermore, the maximum PoW coins is 50 million, rather than the claimed 18.2 million. The 150 million number appears twice in the code, so it can hardly be considered an accident.We did not find evidence of an existing hidden premine, but extra coins could potentially be minted all at once at the end of the PoW phase, sent to exchanges via the "anon" feature, and dumped.We have other concerns about the coin, particularly concerning the proposed method of anonymity, but the shenanigans with the maximum supply is sufficient for us to reject this coin. This version of supercoin client works for regular network too (no difference from the latest Version 1.2). But remember, this is testnet coins, which are worthless, just for testing. To send in anon mode, check the "anonymous send" checkbox in "send Coin" tab. Only qt client can send anonymous, and for now only windows client is available for testing. yes but even if reward drops, price may go up and were back to square 1. ive expressed my thoughts. i saw how that 60btc buy wall got taken out by multipools dump, so im waiting to buy when they do. coin has potential, but that potential will be limited thanks to multipools
100% PoS coins with zero multipool dumps can have much bigger whale dumps. Just look at CINNI's chart today. It dropped more than SUPER with no multipool. (and this happened after an amazing EM wallet release / whitepaper etc) Multipool drop the price and stop the hype or momentum while the coin was rising.
A whale (or 2 or 3) who pumps & dumps is far worse than any multipool last time I checked. Also, I already proved how little multipool dumps amounts compared to current trade volume. I do understand your concerns. But I feel that some people are not very knowledgeable in this matter and think ending PoW will guarantee a price hike. It won't. People who are spreading negativity (while wanting the opposite of increase in price) are doing more damage to the coin's image & price than any multipool IMHO. if I want to buy coins and i know there is a Multipool with 90% hash dumping every day, I'll wait to buy in the dump of Multipool, and will try to sell before the multipool dump, i am not hold while the multipools be there .... simple , IMHO. |

That has nothing to do with multipool. There has been 246 BTC trade vol in last 24 hours on Bittrex. That means 246 BTC of coins were "bought" by the traders. Multipool dumps only contributed 20-30 BTC at most. (that's worst case scenario also) So how did multipool kill the coin again? Can you please explain with any form of proof? Multipool drop the price and stop the hype or momentum while the coin was rising. |
